Advantage for Dogs – Advantage Flea Control
Advantage for dogs provides monthly protection against fleas. A fast acting treatment, Advantage kills 98-100% fleas within 12 hours of application. It destroys adult fleas within short period of application. Being a strong flea preventive, the waterproof treatment actively attacks fleas for a period of four weeks.
Advantage for dogs is an easy to apply, monthly topical treatment for killing and controlling fleas. With a systemic insecticide Imidalcoprid as the active ingredient, it kills adult fleas within 12 hours of application and eliminates chances of re-infestations.
It stops fleas from biting pets and prevents several diseases caused due to flea infestations. It assists in treating Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) and provides protection against fatal parasitic diseases. The finest advantage is that the waterproof treatment remains effective even when the pet gets wet.

Directions
- Four color-coded packs of Advantage are available in the market. Categorized as per the dog’s weight, the packs are packaged for all sizes and breeds of dogs. Refer Package table for details.
- Measure your pet’s weight and choose the appropriate pack of Advantage flea treatment.
- Also check with the veterinarian about the sensitivity of your pet towards the ingredients of Advantage.
- For application, allow the pet to stand in a comfortable position. Part the fur at a spot between the shoulder blades until the skin becomes visible.
- Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze out the liquid until the pipette is empty. For small dogs apply at one spot while for extra large dogs apply at 3-4 spots across the backbone towards the base of the tail.

Safety
- Apply at a spot that cannot be licked by the pet.
- Do not allow children and other pets to groom or play with the treated pet.
- Avoid any contact with the pet’s eyes and mouth.
- Keep it away from children, food items and pet feeds.
- Wash hands with soap and water after applying Advantage to dogs.
- Consult a veterinarian on observing any adverse effects of application.
- Store in a cool place (below 30°C) and keep away from heat.
