Pretty disappointed given that he only just got it. My dog is a senior husky (14 years old) so I’d hate to see the damage a younger, tougher chewer would do with this toy.
As disappointed as I am, I’m sure my pup is more disappointed that we now have to take his new toy away.

I bought this for my dog’s birthday. Surprisingly, this toy lasted longer than the Tuffy toys. My dog loves the crinkle sounds from the ears and it also has a squeaker inside. I recommend you remove the squeaker once your pet has ripped through the layer as my dog decided to chew the squeaker as well (no parts were swallowed) but just keep an eye out in case your pet does the same. Overall, I think these dog toys are cute, durable, and decently sized.

We adopted an American Bulldog a month ago from a shelter. He’s destroyed every toy labeled for strong chewers that we’ve bought, except this one…yet. He goes right for the weak points of every toy – labels, legs/ears, seams – and he manages to pull them apart within 3-30 minutes. This guy was the first one we bought him and though he looks a little worse for the wear, he’s still not been able to get the ears off. He absolutely loves him too. Runs around, squeaking him and throwing him to catch him in the air. Of course the super hard rubber toys from Kong and Bully Make work for our guy, he doesn’t love chewing on hard products all day. Sometimes he just wants a squishy buddy to play with. This also helps minimize the destruction to our home because he’s not chucking around a 5lb hard rubber weapon. I’d be thrilled if Bite Force would make a toy with no extremities because I think it would last even longer.

There are areas that make a crinkle sound that she gravitated towards right away, and the density of it made making the squeaker inside more fun…however, she de-horned it within minutes, and had the back opened up shortly afterward. If your dog is an above-average thinker, and the bite strength of a mythical creature, this isn’t the toy for them…they WILL destroy it quickly.
