My dog is so picky! This dog food is the only food that he enjoys eating and I enjoy knowing that he is getting his full nutrition from it. We started him out on a few other foods but he would not eat the other brands! He has tried all the flavors and he enjoys this one the best. The other brands are usually to big and hard for him to chew but these are perfect size and flavor. This Blue Buffalo brand is a little more pricey but absolutely worth it knowing he likes it and it is healthier than most other foods. I am happy to say he is now 6 years old and healthy as can be! I have nothing but great things to say about blue. My dog was on another large breed food, and when I switched him to blue, his coat was shinier, he didn’t seem nearly as hungry as often (we always fed him twice a day but he always would want more food with the other brand), the minor skin allergies he used to have went away. I also noticed he wasn’t as gassy on blue. The cost of blue is much more reasonable as well compared to his other food we used to feed him.

Blue Buffalo is all our dogs will ever eat. She absolutely loves it! It’s a great high protein with no by products or fillers. We’ve started our Great Pyrenees on Blue Buffalo supply food and she loves it.

Dog was going very healthy. She never got overweight and had great energy. Her poops were consistent and she was happy to eat every day. We have now moved to the adult dog version but this was a great start to her life. I got this food for my dog for the ingredients it’s a large bread dog food with chicken and rice. My dog has a sensitive stomach so it’s hard to find her a good that works that doesn’t make her sick. This was a good choice. She’s doing really good and likes the flavor also.

The first 5 ingredients are “Deboned chicken, chicken meal, brown rice, oatmeal, barley”. That’s so much better than some other options out there on the market. My husky loves her blue buffalo! She had an issue with loose bowel movements and when we switched to this they are now normal. I also love that it includes fish oil which means it has omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids to help my growing pup with her eyes, joints, cognitive function, skin and coat health. It is a little rough on the wallet, but you get what you pay for sometimes. I will add, my puppy loves this specific kind (chicken and brown rice) but her dad doesn’t like it at all (but does like the other blue buffalo dry foods). I’m still doing my research on healthy options in terms of healthy puppy growth, ingredients, and wallet friendly options. But so far, this is my go to.

My dog did not like this food. He would take days to eat one serving as a puppy. When he did eat it, I found it cause stool stool to be irregular and very soft. This brand did not agree with my Maltipoo.

Blue Buffalo has been one of my go to brands for sometime. The large breed puppy formula is the only food I feed my Working line GSD pups. Theirs coats are always so nice and it actually seems to fill them up. (GSD working Pups are usually never full) I do wish it had a little better ingredient list, though it is well worth the price.

The quality of the product was great but the way it made my dogs farts and poops smell it definitely was not worth it for me. I like that my dog had a shiny your coat but I could get that from a good shampoo. I honestly switched over to started making my dog more natural food after using blue Buffalo because I couldn’t stand how my dogs poop and urine smelled so strong and the salmon one was horrible literally sometimes I would have to put my dog in a different room because I couldn’t stand the smell in the middle of the night he would fart and I would get so nauseous so I’m not sure if that something that everyone experience but I stopped using it after about three months and switched over to just making national dog food with rice and vegetables and some meat products once in a while

I desperately want to give this puppy food the fullest, fattest five star rating possible however, the only thing that prevents me from in good conscience doing so is I believe the price could be worked on. I’m feeding two female Connie Corso and with large breeds they do tend to eat more food. So the puppy food coming in at 34 and 1/2 lb bag at its price point can make it a little painful to do. Yes propagates and sustains a wonderful health and growth balance and for that I am extremely grateful. But I fear that the price point could cause some to revert to a lesser quality food that’s a bit more affordable. My veterinarian is extremely impressed with both of my dogs health and growth rate. As am i. However, with a large breed like this it’s best to feed them puppy food until they’re 18 months old. By the time they are 18 months old they will both be well over a hundred pounds which makes the 34 and 1/2 lb bag not go very far. Couldn’t be happier with the ingredients, quality, and result of this dog food. It is the best that I have ever found in 30 years of having dogs. And I will say I have to give props to Blue Buffalo for frequently offering coupons and discounts. I would however, like to see the option of digital coupons that do not have to be printed made available. No doubt, Blue Buffalo has a consumer for life In my household, and I greatly appreciate the efforts they put into producing such a well researched beneficial product for cherished pets!
