I switched my pups over to this because another made my dogs constantly scratch due to an allergic reaction. My pups love it & it has their coats shinning & healthy. I have a picky eater & one that will eat anything, and they both love this food.

This was the first puppy food I bought for my pup when I brought her home. She’s going to be a large breed dog, but she was just a little 5lbs squirt when I brought her home. She doesn’t seem to have too many dietary restrictions and not much upsets her stomach! But she loves this food and when she went to the vet, they were super happy with her growth and progress!

Both dogs had sensitivity issues with chicken based foods. They both loved and (one still currently loves) this food. Thank you for making something that is not chicken based!

My baby boy was throwing up every day and I figured out he was allergic to chicken. Since we found this food, he has been so healthy and happy. He loves this food!!!

I originally bought the Puppy Chicken and Oatmeal for my dachshund mix puppy. After a few days of having him, I noticed he was scratching a lot and starting to lose his vigor for eating. After research and thinking that he might have a chicken allergy, I switched to this formula, Lamb and Oatmeal. My pup loves it and gobbles up every bite; no hesitation to eat anymore. He seems to be growing well and has not had digestive issues caused by this formula (from what I can tell).

This product is perfect for my litter of german shepherd puppies. It’s a food that is gentle on their little tummies and small enough pebbles for them to chew.

My puppy loves this food. My senior cocker spaniel also eats the wilderness line of this brand. I want to defend this brand against some of the recurring bad reviews on the food from this brand containing chicken – the packaging reads no chicken *by-product meals*, not no chicken.

Puppy has a chicken allergy. We tried another, more expensive food which was labelled as “all ages”. She didn’t really like it. Then I went to petsupplycanada and found the Blue Buffalo lamb formula that is made for puppies. Better price and, according to Luna, better taste. Score!

We bought this for our puppy who is allergic to chicken and just went to buy it again but thankfully my husband noticed that it now contains chicken meal as the 2nd ingredient!!

So happy with the lamb and oatmeal puppy food.My Kerry blue terrier loves it. She has a beautiful thick shiney coat, strong teeth, and lots of energy. Of course, what else would you feed a Kerry BLUE terrier except BLUE DOG FOOD?? it’s a perfect match.

Was gonna by due to it being no chicken as my dog is allergic, but it says chicken fat in the ingredients lol I’ll pass to a different dog food brand, also other PUPPY flavors with duck or salmon would be cool to because your PUPPY section of food is really limited, just make sure when y’all say it has no chicken, don’t put chicken in the recipe because obviously some dogs are allergic to poultry

So I’m looking for a dog that has absolutely no chicken in it and when you go through the description on this food before you get to the ingredients list it says above it no chicken or poultry by-product.. the first two ingredients all of this food is deboned chicken and chicken meal and then later down the list is chicken fat there is absolutely no lamb on the ingredients list.

My lab tried this lamb puppy food one day only then he didn’t touch it any more. It’s not as good as I thought as most reviews are very positive.

I bought this because my puppy has a chicken allergy. It says on the bag that there is no chicken, yet in the ingredients it clearly says chicken fat….

Taste was not a hot with 3 dogs and 10 puppies. No nibbling between meals. But I was determined to use the bag and give it a fair test so I bought 2 different flavours. Puppies were running around between 2 and 3 when eating this brand. Change the brand, no nocturnal zoomies. Older dogs were not keen on it at all but ate it when I added meat or something else.

My puppies have been eating the lamb and oatmeal for the last 6 months….the ALL spit out the round pellets and only eat the triangle shapes. I mentioned this to a friend and she said her pup doesthe same thing. Does anyone know what the round kibble is?

The package states “no chicken by-products, soy, corn, and wheat” yet there is Chicken fat as the 13th ingredients. I was in a rush and mixed it up, trusting the package. My pup who is allergic to chicken is missing his fur on his belly and around his eyes.

I have heard that Blue Buffalo has caused a lot of sickness in dogs. However this was a long time ago and from what I read Blue hasn’t had a recall since 2017, so as we were searching for puppy food the food we typically get was out of stock and we tried to find something that wasn’t too low grade and yet not too expensive. I was tapering my pups food and little by little with each feeding I could see she was started to get bloated. Yesterday she started throwing up. I didn’t think too much about it until later that night she started vomiting blood! She has eaten other foods and hasn’t had this reaction before. I’m sad as I wanted to try this food but have been fairly weary but I’m disappointed that once we did try it all the horror stories were true! I’m just glad I didn’t feed her too much of it or she would probably be dead.

My puppy was 9 wks old when he started on this food. We also use the blue Buffalo canned food. He loves both and is very healthy. We couldn’t find the food his breeder used so we didn’t transition slowly like you’re supposed to but he never got sick or an upset stomach. I highly recommend Blue Buffalo for all stages of life!!

My pup LOVES this stuff. Typically I feel him only salmon dry dog food but I was turned onto this once I realized he goes beserk for it. I don’t ever notice a difference in behavior, energy, or coat but I can just tell he loves it the way he reacts compared to other foods.

I have eight months old Maltipoo named Boba he loves this Lamb and oatmeal recipe. I decided to change him from the puppy chicken recipe because I think he might be allergic to chicken and I have noticed a significant improvement on his skin and coat since he started eating this instead of the chicken recipe.

Made both my dogs sick for a week. Changed their food and within a day they were better. I think their quality has gone down

The other review is wrong, chicken is not in this product…. Unfortunately the website has the wrong ingredients listed, but the picture of the bag is accurate. My puppy LOVES this food above all others and it is so nutritious.

My 4 month old lab mix puppy loves this food! I started out feeding her one of the popular mass market kibble brands, but did more research and wasn’t happy with the amount of byproducts and non-nutritious fillers (e.g. corn, wheat, gluten) it contained. My puppy would also need encouragement to finish the whole bowl. The difference in quality between this and her previous food is obvious just from the ingredients list, but she also now races to finish each meal and goes back several times to make sure she didn’t leave anything behind. I even use the kibble as training treats on walks.
