In August 2024, I purchased Blue Buffalo® TastefulsTM Adult Cat Dry Food – Natural, Chicken & Turkey from petsupplycanada for my two cats, one Himalayan and the other Birman. My first impression of this food was not good because there were too many crumbs and dust in it, and after eating it for a while, both of my cats got gastroenteritis – their symptoms included vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea, so I had to take them to the vet and spent $$$. Anyway, I was very unhappy with this food and had to throw the rest away.

They go crazy for it. The kibble bowl is always empty. I have heard people complain that it’s too dry but it’s dry kibble, it’s supposed to be dry… right? This is not supposed to be the only food they eat, they should have a well balanced mix of dry, wet food (including appropriate fruits, veggies and meats). I sometimes throw some frozen blueberries in the bowl as a treat; my cats love them, they double as a toy. Additionally I have multiple filtered water fountains all over my home so I do believe they are getting adequate hydration. When they were babies, they ate the kitten food and I never had to switch brands because they loved it. My babies also love the kitten wet food and the adults love the Tastefuls adult wet food. It keeps them happy, healthy, playful, alert and calm. Our family is definitely a Blue Buffalo family!

So trying this new Blue Tastefuls Adult multi protein chicken and turkey flavor was absolutely awesome. The individual pieces are small which is perfect for her since she is a small cat. I love how pieces are smaller and I love the protein content it should help my smaller cat maintain his weight. They go crazy for it. The kibble bowl is always empty. I have heard people complain that it’s too dry but it’s dry kibble, it’s supposed to be dry… right? This is not supposed to be the only food they eat, they should have a well balanced mix of dry, wet food (including appropriate fruits, veggies and meats). I sometimes throw some frozen blueberries in the bowl as a treat; my cats love them, they double as a toy. Additionally I have multiple filtered water fountains all over my home so I do believe they are getting adequate hydration. When they were babies, they ate the kitten food and I never had to switch brands because they loved it. My babies also love the kitten wet food and the adults love the Tastefuls adult wet food. It keeps them happy, healthy, playful, alert and calm. Our family is definitely a Blue Buffalo family!

My small tuxedo who is usually picky wasn’t crazy about it either but she was showing up for meals so that made me happy. My oldest gray cat, ironically named Blue, loved it but she loves almost any food. My only complaint is she got constipated and this was the reason I stopped giving her Blue Buffalo before (the vet prescribed a high fiber food to clear her out). Like the whole house would smell bad. I was almost determined to take her to vet, but then I switched to this BLUE cat food as I did find online that cat diet can cause stinky litter. And it worked like a charm. I am not going to disclose the other brand name of the product but it’s a huge relief. But of course it can depend from cat to cat, so it is indeed important to find out the right diet for your cat unless you want stinky house every time they use litter.

In August 2024, I purchased Blue Buffalo® TastefulsTM Adult Cat Dry Food – Natural, Chicken & Turkey from petsupplycanada for my two cats, one Himalayan and the other Birman. My first impression of this food was not good because there were too many crumbs and dust in it, and after eating it for a while, both of my cats got gastroenteritis – their symptoms included vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea, so I had to take them to the vet and spent $$$. Anyway, I was very unhappy with this food and had to throw the rest away.

My small tuxedo who is usually picky wasn’t crazy about it either but she was showing up for meals so that made me happy. My oldest gray cat, ironically named Blue, loved it but she loves almost any food. My only complaint is she got constipated and this was the reason I stopped giving her Blue Buffalo before (the vet prescribed a high fiber food to clear her out). They go crazy for it. The kibble bowl is always empty. I have heard people complain that it’s too dry but it’s dry kibble, it’s supposed to be dry… right? This is not supposed to be the only food they eat, they should have a well balanced mix of dry, wet food (including appropriate fruits, veggies and meats). I sometimes throw some frozen blueberries in the bowl as a treat; my cats love them, they double as a toy. Additionally I have multiple filtered water fountains all over my home so I do believe they are getting adequate hydration. When they were babies, they ate the kitten food and I never had to switch brands because they loved it. My babies also love the kitten wet food and the adults love the Tastefuls adult wet food. It keeps them happy, healthy, playful, alert and calm. Our family is definitely a Blue Buffalo family!

Like the whole house would smell bad. I was almost determined to take her to vet, but then I switched to this BLUE cat food as I did find online that cat diet can cause stinky litter. And it worked like a charm. I am not going to disclose the other brand name of the product but it’s a huge relief. My small tuxedo who is usually picky wasn’t crazy about it either but she was showing up for meals so that made me happy. My oldest gray cat, ironically named Blue, loved it but she loves almost any food. My only complaint is she got constipated and this was the reason I stopped giving her Blue Buffalo before (the vet prescribed a high fiber food to clear her out). I like the brand but I try to judge foods on how my cats look and act and it just wasn’t what I like for them but it wasn’t the worst.

Like the whole house would smell bad. I was almost determined to take her to vet, but then I switched to this BLUE cat food as I did find online that cat diet can cause stinky litter. And it worked like a charm. I am not going to disclose the other brand name of the product but it’s a huge relief. But of course it can depend from cat to cat, so it is indeed important to find out the right diet for your cat unless you want stinky house every time they use litter.

This new multi-protein formula must be just as ‘tasteful’ because they practically inhale it! Seriously…they finish the Blue Tastefuls bowl first, only eating their other foods when their favorite is gone. I think my girls like the smaller kibble size, and it’s pretty obvious they like the taste. I like that chicken is the first ingredient and that there are no artificial flavors or preservatives, and no poultry by-product meal, either. Just all the good stuff that my cats love!

In August 2024, I purchased Blue Buffalo® TastefulsTM Adult Cat Dry Food – Natural, Chicken & Turkey from petsupplycanada for my two cats, one Himalayan and the other Birman. My first impression of this food was not good because there were too many crumbs and dust in it, and after eating it for a while, both of my cats got gastroenteritis – their symptoms included vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea, so I had to take them to the vet and spent $$$. Anyway, I was very unhappy with this food and had to throw the rest away.
