We had our pups on another Canidae flavor that has now been discontinued. Our dogs cannot have the grain free so this was a great alternative. The dogs loved it and did not need any encouragement to eat! Recommends this product ✔ Yes Our pup Cooper Photo This action will open a modal dialog. Originally posted on Petsuppliescanada.com

I started my dog on this food and he loves it. My only complaint is that my choice of sizes is the 4 lb bag, then the next size up is 22 lbs. I wish there were something in between. Recommends this product ✔ Yes Originally posted on Petsuppliescanada.com

We’ve been giving our mid-aged medium sized dog Canidae Salmon and Barley for almost two years now. Our pooch is a rescue and we tried different brands and flavours before settling on this one. What we love: size of kibble is not overly large (her teeth were quite sensitive when she first came to us due to neglect), no allergies or reaction to salmon or other ingredients (she showed some slight intolerance to other food and brands), her fur has become extremely soft, shiny and silky (I am guessing due to the salmon). Our dog had some eating issues and anxieties when she first came and we had to hand feed her on and off for about a year. While this was not due to the brands of food we were trying initially, she seems to have gravitated to this brand and flavour and has not required hand feeding since we started feeding her this food. Thanks, Canidae, our pup loves your stuff (and so do we)! Recommends this product ✔ Yes

I’ve been buying this dog food for the quality and minimal ingredients for my french bulldogs. One of my dogs has a chicken allergy, so I have to be very careful. This purchase, however, I had to buy a much larger bag, as all the smaller bags were out of stock. It is a very expensive dog food. I was a bit disappointed that when I got to the counter with this very large & expensive bag of dog food, I was told it was expired. I then had to wait for an employee to get a forklift to get a fresh bag for me. Seems like it’s getting more & more difficult to find what I’m looking for on a regular basis. Recommends this product ✔ Yes Originally posted on Petsuppliescanada.com

Canidae is the dog food I buy for my Frenchies, as one has chicken allergies. However, my local store never has this particular variety. I have to drive farther to find it, plus they never have a large bag. That’s my only complaint, is with Petsuppliescanada. Recommends this product ✔ Yes Originally posted on Petsuppliescanada.com
