A few minutes later he returned without chew. He had decided to hide it for later. He has showed little interest in chewing on it. He seems content with hiding it in various spots around the house. Maybe he will decide to give it the chew test at a later date.

I recently purchased a package of rawhide chews for my dog from the petsupplycanada near my home. The chews were Dentley brand (one pound bag, 12 count, for medium/large dogs). He had eaten several of them already, when I gave him one of the remaining chews in the package. As he began to consume this chew, it began to “fall apart” and I inspected it closer. I discovered, that wrapped up in a single outer layer of rawhide was a collection of eight smaller pieces that can only be described as “booby traps” for choking. The smaller pieces, some smaller than a coin and several log stringy pieces appeared to have been simply crammed inside and rolled up in the outer piece with no regard for the safety hazards that they present. On the back of the package, Dentley’s even cautions consumers stating “small pieces can cause choking, gastric upset or blockage.” To then intentionally include these types of pieces seems to nothing short of malfeasance at best. I have taken photographs of the smaller pieces and I would welcome the opportunity to share this with someone from petsupplycanada. I am seriously concerned with the quality of this product and am very hesitant to purchase any of their items again.

He chewed through that and he was one happy dog. I could tell he loved the taste because he didn’t even leave it alone for one second. I love the fact that it helps them clean there teeth and entertains them for a while. These are always going to be on our list for dog treats for sure. Highly recommend especially if you like to treat your dog like I do.

He has a tendency to be anxious & needy at times when no one is home. The Rawhide Rolls have given him something to chew on other than things around the house. It tastes him quite a while to eat an entire bone and I love that it’s a distraction that keeps him entertained during the day. We haven’t had any issues with him eating them, and I’ve been watching him the entire time he does. No bathroom issues either. I will definitely purchase more of these in the future because he loves them and it gives me a break from him constantly being by my side. I tried giving one to my mini Poodle but they are a bit too big for her mouth to chew.

I bought Dentley’s rawhide last week and I ended up at the vet with both of my dogs. I have a Mastiff & a Catahoula and they get rawhide once a week as a treat because they love to chew. I’d been buying Dentley’s chews for a year or so and had no issues but this last batch has a different smell and it threw off their gut badly for 3 days. I had an expensive vet bill and had to run them both through a round of probiotics.

I have a German Shepherd and he loses it for these bones. They last him about 3 hours of constant chewing. Will definitely get these again when I run out.
