Depending on the age, activity level, and condition of your dog, the feeding guidelines will need to be adjusted. The normal daily feeding amount for a healthy adult dog:
5-10 lb. dog feed 2/3 – 1 cups per day
11-15 lb. dog feed 1- 1 1/2 cups per day
16-20 lb. dog feed 1 1/2 – 2 cups per day
21-25 lb. dog feed 2 – 2 1/4 cups per day
*Add 1/2 cup. for each 5 lbs. beyond 25 lbs.
Transition Instructions:
Change your pet’s food gradually. Mix a small amount of Freshpet with the current food and gradually increase Freshpet over the course of a week.
