Depending on the age, activity level, and condition of your dog, the feeding guidelines will need to be adjusted. The normal daily feeding amount for a healthy adult dog:
5-10 lb. dog feed 1/4 – 3/8 lbs. per day
11-20 lb. dog feed 3/8 – 1/2 lbs. per day
21-40 lb. dog feed 1/2 – 1 lbs. per day
41-60 lb. dog feed 1 – 1 3/8 lbs. per day
61-100 lb. dog feed 1 3/8 – 2 lbs. per day
*Add 1/4 lb. for each 25 lbs. beyond 100 lbs.
Transition Instructions:
Change your pet’s food gradually. Mix a small amount of Freshpet with the current food and gradually increase Freshpet over the course of a week.
