We’ve been buying this product for about 8-9 months now and while i do very much enjoy the lint free aspect it seems there has been a change in the base material used. It’s slightly a darker white color and doesn’t seem to have the same odor control strength. All in all a very good product but wanted to know what we’ve noticed for a difference is all.
Marc D (verified owner) –
The guinea pigs love this bedding by Full Cheeks. Our first time trying this brand.
Cor22 (verified owner) –
Ive used this for my mice for quite a while now It’s not as dusty as some are making it out to be but I mix it with Aspen shavings so it works good and they love it and my mice have never ever had problems develop from it.
Shans hammy (verified owner) –
I was sorting out the clumps of bedding seen blue pieces thinking it was just mixed in from a coloured bedding thought well I better remove to be sure I was spot checking and found more looked closer it was stretchy and blue like a rubber glove material I’m not only worried my hamster unsheathed it but for future hammy owners:( very disappointing
Solyluna (verified owner) –
I bought this bedding paper for my large bunny almost 2 weeks ago and I still have enough for the next few days. I appreciate that they have a large size of bedding paper that I don’t regularly see in other brands. I am an Oxbow brand customer but will def repurchase this product. Very happy with this product.
Anonymous (verified owner) –
This product has awsome odor lock and I got it on sale 🙂 I only wish i could get it for $15 I mean Kitty litter last a lot longer and you really get your moneys worth so I wish they made critter bedding at more resonable prices since you have to change it more often ….just a thought.
midlifeswag_4925 (verified owner) –
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually buy Full Cheeks bedding, I have a long-hair Syrian hamster and bedding always sticks to his fur. This doesn’t attach itself quite as much, it’s very soft and fluffs up nicely.
TammyBagbysue (verified owner) –
This product lasts a while and has great absorbency, resulting in odor control for our hamster. great value for the cost of the product.
Andyz14 (verified owner) –
I have been purchasing this on and off for over a year now and find it to be a good deal. A good product and my persnickety bunnies are pleased. THis last package did have a couple of blue pieces in it that look like painters tape, but overall quite satisifed with this product, especially when it’s bogo. Bunny approved.
grrr8scott (verified owner) –
This is the best for absorption. It also has unscented bedding be too.
Sesame88 (verified owner) –
My pet loves this. It is soft, very economical and great for the environment
Smartpets (verified owner) –
Very soft and fluffs up. Don’t seem to use as much as competitor’s bedding. We are switching from our tried and true to Full Cheeks.
Kayeminoagra (verified owner) –
Bought this for gerbils, works well at keep odours away. Lasts 2 weeks before next change. Gerbils enjoy making tunnels in it.
Loonytuney (verified owner) –
I really love this bedding sheet for my guinea pigs and it’s the one I always buy at my petsupplycanada that’s closer to where I live, they have a buy 2 for 50% off sale and that’s what I like about this!! Plus, it’s a very big size, and since I have two guinea pigs I need to change their bedding regularly. It is perfect!
Samantha183 (verified owner) –
My hamster loves it! It has great value and holds burrows pretty well, the dust doesn’t bother him it bothers me a bit.
Serenity (verified owner) –
I love this product for my pet rabbits bed. petsupplycanada is the only place I can find the 85L paper bedding.
Ubuyaya (verified owner) –
I usually get a different brand, but it was not in stock so I got this. It’s decent enough. It is definitely a different texture and color. It seems to keep the odor down well enough.
Belly (verified owner) –
I find myself changing my rabbits litter box less often when using Full Cheeks.
Gidget (verified owner) –
It had bits of plastic in it and don’t think that should be in there for a guinea pig to choke on or get an obstruction. Quality control needs to be implemented for the safety and health of our pets.
reviewingfreethingsy (verified owner) –
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dapper young man loved the bedding! Super soft and bouncy texture. Great volume of product, packed securely. As you can see, our model bunny was very pleased with his new item
Wenpey (verified owner) –
This is usually on sale. It’s so soft and my babies love it
Hihh (verified owner) –
Can hardly lossen it .
nik17 (verified owner) –
i use this bedding with my hamster and she seems to like it. it definitely keeps the odor under control. it seems a bit pricey for bedding but it’s definitely the cheapest option i’ve seen for the amount you get.
Robertf (verified owner) –
Our vet told us to switch to paper bedding as it’s healthier for our g-piggs. Very happy with the result.
Nat66 (verified owner) –
I love this brand. I’ve used it for the last 2 years. It’s the only brand I’ve used with my bunny. I don’t like colors, prefer natural or white. Haven’t had any issues with it. It’s not too dusty, a good quality product in my opinion.
kayeminoa (verified owner) –
This bedding works well for my gebil and hamster. Keeps odours away for 14 days. Fluffs nicely when removed from bag and placed in cage.
Downtown (verified owner) –
I buy this all the time for my hamsters and have loved using it for well over a year. Had to get some more due to issues and this last bag was a little dustier then the last few bags. Not a huge deal thankfully as my hamster isnt going into it right away.
Coral (verified owner) –
This is the best bedding for hamsters. Holds a burrow well, soft and the white makes it easier to find soiled bedding.
Zachary1973 (verified owner) –
These shavings are definitely worth the money. They keep odor low and the rats just love digging through this.
Storm Bunny bedding (verified owner) –
This product comes compacted and fluffs up very nicely
DSGP1 (verified owner) –
Not safe found all this in the bedding my guineas could have choked and had other digestive issues
Nika0001 (verified owner) –
There were blue pieces of plastic and dirty debris within the paper that I had to pick out in not wanting my bunny to potentially ingest those items. Because of the odd dirty debris it discoloured some of the paper which prompted me to throw that out as well just to be safe. It sad, but I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this brand again. The last 2 pks were annoying to deal with.
Pepper4242 (verified owner) –
It’s fine hamster seems to like it he’s always hindin
Lili78 (verified owner) –
Always a good price for the quality. Works very well.
Carolt (verified owner) –
This stuff is great bedding. NIce and soft for sensitive skin.
It is very clean.
It does the job.
Easy for daily pick outs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Odor Control Pet Bedding is perfect for Guinea pigs! Keeps the odor away and is also eco friendly. Great texture to absorb their potty breaks. Nice amount for the price as well!
Linda 2 (verified owner) –
I have been seeing blue prices of tape or something in it at first it was one price but now it’s a lot more I just take it out but I’m worried that I don’t get it all and I don’t want my piggies to eat it
2169Pansy (verified owner) –
It doesn’t seem to control odor as good as I thought it would. But it’s better than having nothing
GinaW7 (verified owner) –
Best bedding I’ve ever used. Will continue to purchase
Carrie1000 (verified owner) –
I tried to be cheap and bought all the other styles and brands of bedding, but I’m going to stick with this one from now on. It’s the softest, and less dusty comparing to the other ones.
LivvyT (verified owner) –
This bedding is soft and not too dusty compared to some others. My Roborovski hamster loves burrowing in it! I would recommend!
Peanuts (verified owner) –
Full of chemical smell once open the bag. Don’t buy.
Sleeming (verified owner) –
Nice affordable bedding. There is some more dust compared to other beddings, but the value is very good.
chihuahua3mama (verified owner) –
I opened the bag and the vinegar smell was so strong it made me gag!!! I have 7 baby hedgehogs they can’t have that smell. I returned to store and got refund. I will never buy again. Plus it was the same price as same size of Kaytee brand.
Cpena87 (verified owner) –
I bought this for my Guinea pigs because they are allergic to hay they would constantly sneeze. With this they are fine and sneezing had stopped.
abbeyej (verified owner) –
There was blue masking tape in the enclosed bedding. My hamsters could have eaten and died
Mjackson78 (verified owner) –
Lasted thru 3 cage changes of 4 large cages. Didn’t get saturated or stink. Lasted for 5 days. Ferrets; guniea pigs
Shadowmansfate1 (verified owner) –
Absorbs the smell really well. Will buy again and again.
Boobra (verified owner) –
What can I say, perfect for by little bunnies litter box
Smallfry9468 (verified owner) –
It’s shredded paper. My guineas do their business in it. It’s very soft and absorbent. I mix it with the Full Cheeks Aspen.
sarn4097 (verified owner) –
I’ve been using Full Cheeks bedding for my mouse and it’s gone well so far. I love the assortment of colors and I think it’s a good value. With that being said, this is not for pets with respiratory sensitivities. My mouse had a very minor respiratory infection (not associated with this bedding) and this bedding hasn’t caused her an problems but for pets with a history or present case of moderate or severe respiratory issues, I would recommend something else. Thankfully I haven’t had an problems but this is by no means low dust relative to other brands and styles of bedding out there
Pioneer (verified owner) –
As a first time rabbit owner, I love this bedding! Easy to spread, soft, durable, odor control, long lasting.
brownmj127 (verified owner) –
I purchased this for our hamster, Comet, a week or so ago. This is poor quality bedding with the consistency of tissue paper and the absorbency of old news paper.. It does not absorb at all and instantly become saturated. We’re changing Comets litter twice as often now because this stuff is so bad. Other bedding we used to get was soft and absorbent. We can’t find that anymore or its hard to find. Now all we can find is this cheap stuff. I’m guessing to make more money the manufacturer went cheap on the materials and jacked the price up. Typical. I do not recommend this cheap-o junk to anyone that cares about their pet rodents. You’re nearly better off shredding an old news paper. Do not buy. Cheap. cheap, cheap.
Kwhi74 (verified owner) –
This stuff is so inconsistent with the quality. One bag will have little hard pebbles, one has finely shredded medium texture pieces, and once in a while, it’s just right. Unfortunately, this is the second of 2 bags I bought that smells really strongly of Elmer’s Glue. And it’s not really soft. My piggies don’t like it at all. I think they get away with having poor quality because the brand’s almost always buy 1, get one half off. Stick with the Kaytee brand bedding. It’s much better.
Elby (verified owner) –
This bedding seems very soft and it expands nicely but it is quite dusty. The bag says 99% dust free but the last paper bedding I bought was Kaytee brown (not dyed) and it really is dust free, soft and absorbent so I will go back to that brand.
Lindysky (verified owner) –
Bedding Super Soft! Piggies love it and so do I. Soaks up urine well.
hamsterowner (verified owner) –
Been a hit or miss with this bedding. I feel like the quality control is really off, been getting some bags recently where the paper size has been really tiny and stiff feeling. It’s definitely different from the past bags that I’ve purchased and I’m hesitant to give it to my hamster cause it feels super coarse compared to previous bags that I’ve bought. And I’ve been finding more hard bits in the bedding as well. There’s been a few times where the bedding smells very chemically as well (those I returned). Might need to consider switching to a different brand if this inconsistency keeps happening.
Madeflynn (verified owner) –
This bedding is pretty and colorful at a low price, but our hamster cage has never smelled more pungent. Even after a full scrub cleaning and fresh bedding, the strange odor returned quickly and permeated the entire room where the hamster cage sits. I’m only halfway through the bag of this bedding, but I’m switching back to CareFresh.
vlbn (verified owner) –
I bought this because it was on sale in petsupplycanada and love it so far. No weird smell before using as other brand and it kept the order down pretty good
Holly 27 (verified owner) –
Hamster loves his soft bedding it last a long time don’t need much
lady_schip (verified owner) –
Unfortunately since petsupplycanada changed to Full Cheeks they must have changed the bedding altogether because it doesn’t last more than 2 days without smelling up my whole house. I used to be good for the 14 day period like the package says, but ever since the switch it has been very poor quality somehow. Had to switch to Kaytee’s exteme brand. I wish I could get my money back for this.
Rats bedding (verified owner) –
It just seems to get very wet very fast. Maybe fine for smaller animals but not for rats.
Sliggky (verified owner) –
Nice bedding but little dusty at times. But over all not bad.
Serenity (verified owner) –
I like how this keeps my new rabbit nice and dry in his bed. Thanks so much.
Sydneyloo (verified owner) –
I love this scent free odor control bedding for my hedgehogs. It’s the best one I’ve used. Very affordable and works for their needs.
FlaFlower (verified owner) –
This paper bedding is great for my guinea pigs, soft, comfortable, and absorbent.
grrr8scott (verified owner) –
Absorbs very well! It’s a great deal if you buy on sale and use Treats points too.
Cobeeyanne (verified owner) –
I’ve bought some paper bedding before and so far I’ve found this one to be low to no dust. Which is great when you own a hamster who loves to burrow. Plus it’s easy to spot their marking spots.
grrr8scott (verified owner) –
Good value odor controlled paper bedding for small pets. Even better value when it’s on sale!
Johbert (verified owner) –
I buy this white version often for my guinea pig. It’s quite soft, and separates easily and well. I don’t care for the brownish version though, which I found scratchy and hard to separate. Paper bedding is silly expensive anyway, but this Full Cheeks brand is the best buy I’ve found.
alpacahamsters (verified owner) –
I’ve been using this for a couple months for my Syrian hamster’s enclosure and while it is a good value for the volume and it does seem to control odor pretty well, the quality is questionable. This is probably okay for temporary enclosures, but there are two main issues with this brand: dustiness and other articles found in the bag. Even when fresh, this paper throws up dust to the point where my arm is covered in paper dust and I’m sneezing up a storm – my hamster was also sneezing. While I’ve yet to find anything gross in the bag like other reviewers, I’ve found that the bag I got has scattered chunks of cardboard and blue painter’s tape. The cardboard isn’t really concerning, but why is there painter’s tape in here? I’m looking to switch to a different brand after this before I find more concerning surprises. There needs to be better quality control.
Brenda158 (verified owner) –
I’ve done the math and it’s a better bang for your buck to buy this litter over carefresh. This is only if when you change your rabbit’s litter box, you change it all at once. If you’re the type to take out used litter like with a shovel and replace that bit you’ve taken out, I cannot attest to that since I don’t have experience doing so. I find with carefresh, once my rabbit has peed on it, it flattens and is wet and uncomfortable for my rabbit to stand on so it must be changed in a short period of time, maybe, immediately. With full cheeks, it’s like the urine goes to the bottom and is absorbed, leaving the litter still fluffy and clean on top.
Houba105 (verified owner) –
It’s for my grand-daughters hamster so I kind of figure it will be going well
Sparkywsy (verified owner) –
Softest of their bedding!! I love their colored beddings too but this is softer and I wonder if my piggies are aware of the difference.
BadBedding (verified owner) –
I’ve used pretty much every brand of paper bedding, and NONE of them have been this dusty. I started dumping it in and could literally see tons of dust floating up. It made me sneezy.
I then ran my hand over the side once… This is how much dust I collected! I’ll need to return this, I’m sure it’ll give my hamster a respiratory infection if it makes me so sneezy.
Kallisti (verified owner) –
Bedding had several pieces of blue plastic or rubber throughout the package. Looked like possibly balloon or rubber gloves. Very unsafe for pets.
Skister1980 (verified owner) –
My rats love it and the white color makes it easy to see both their liquid and solid waste.
Marys mum (verified owner) –
My Mary is very happy with this bedding. It is soft on her tummy, she loves to nest in it during running wheel breaks. I like it because it is so absorbent and makes for easy spot cleaning in the morning.
plugged nostrils (verified owner) –
poor hamster has paper dust on his nose every time we take him out after cage cleaning! took bag of stuffing outside and shook it up and ended up with a fluffly arm!!! terrible for an animals nostriles!!!
evanabig28 (verified owner) –
I just switched over to Full Cheeks from another brand because it saves me a little money and its good, just as dusty as other product though, Comparable to Carefresh bedding. I just changed my guinea pig’s litter, and this sharp piece of plastic was in the bedding from a brand new unopened bag. He couldve chewed on this and hurt himself, or jumped in and hurt one of his toes. I was very surprised to find this. I never found anything like this the 4.5 years I used Carefresh bedding.
HC304 (verified owner) –
I have used several other brands and this one is less dusty. It’s the only one I use
Rabbit6 (verified owner) –
It is very absorbent and keeps Dorothy’s litter box in good order.
Squirrel25 (verified owner) –
I bought it a few weeks ago it’s a great product!!
Cher1969 (verified owner) –
I like it but there is no odor control. Still a good product tho.
Fierce36 (verified owner) –
Works great. The price is reasonable. Absorbs the urine and no smell.
Jenifer93 (verified owner) –
I like this bedding better than the others I have used.
Piggygirllover (verified owner) –
I bought the Odor control paper bedding for my sweet lil Guinea pigs. I’m so happy with it because it soaks up really well and my girls seem very comfortable with it. The odor control works great!
BC24 (verified owner) –
First rime using the Full Cheeks brand. So far it has kept the odor to minimum. Will how it holds up after a few weeks of spot cleaning.
anabc09 (verified owner) –
this is the first and last time i use this brand . i go to change my hamster bedding and the bedding felt sort of wet and smell like vinegar…gave me a headache and had to change it immediately!!! DO NOT BUY!!!
Rfox22 (verified owner) –
Makes a TON of dust! My rabbits are very active and every time they move they kick paper dust into the air that has covered all of my furniture. Now I have to dust twice as much.
Swisher Sweet (verified owner) –
I love that stuff and so does my rabbit my rabbit is an albino New Zealand rabbit and he loves the stuff too his name Swisher Sweet by the way
LesleyE84 (verified owner) –
So far happy with the minimized odor. Also seems to be very low dust.
Mrs Bananas (verified owner) –
I did a comparison of paper bedding per volume and this brand is the cheapest. It does the job for my gerbils but Kaytee brand is superior in terms of consistency and colouring. This brand has hard chunks of paper amongst the fluffier tissue and the “classic white” has discoloured white mixed in so I can’t tell whether it’s been “used” or not in the gerbils’ environment. I have not found any brand that “controls odour,” (including Carefresh).
Evino (verified owner) –
Works well in my Guinea pig cage. I’ve been using this brand for a while and I’m not disappointed.
Anonymous (verified owner) –
I bought this to replace Carefresh in my guinea pig’s cage. It is noticeably softer and doesn’t get smelly as fast. Good absorption, which is important for me as one of my pigs is very sensitive to UTIs. I’ll be purchasing this from now on 😀
katknull (verified owner) –
I clean my guinea pug cage twice a day, and after 1 day the cage reaks of urine. will not buy again. Also, very dusty.
TrixieHamster (verified owner) –
Love that it is dye free and our hamster seems to love burrowing into it. No odors!
JRM85 (verified owner) –
They seem to have changed the formula on this one, because it’s more stiff than it was when it was All Living Things brand, and it doesn’t expand nearly as much. It used to take 1/3 of a bag for a partial bedding change and now it takes almost half, even though the bag volume is supposedly the same. It’s also definitely more dusty. It’s a shame, because no one else has the bogo deals on bedding.
