Information
K9 Advantix Flea Control for Dogs
K9 Advantix for Dogs is a specially formulated parasitic treatment for fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, flies, chewing lice and biting insects. It kills fleas and ticks by contact, which means that fleas don’t have to bite and ticks don’t have to attach to die. Advantix is a single treatment for multiple parasites and also prevents transmission of flea-borne and tick-borne diseases. A simple water-resistant spot-on treatment, Advantix is safe for dogs of all sizes and puppies from seven weeks of age.
K9 Advantix Dogs
K9 Advantix is a once-a-month topical treatment for controlling and treating various parasites including fleas, ticks, chewing lice, biting insects, flies, and mosquitoes. The topical treatment starts destroying ticks within two hours of application. The ‘hot foot’ activity of Advantix does not allow ticks to stick on the treated dog and thus repels the parasites.
The active ingredients – Imidacloprid and Permethrin attack the central nervous system of the parasite and block sodium channels responsible for message transmission. The parasites become hyper-excited, paralyzed and die eventually. The waterproof treatment remains effective even when your dog gets wet. Designed with a wide range of safety margins, Advantix is also safe to use on pregnant and lactating dogs.
