I’ve been trying for several months trying to find a food that all three of my cats love. I also wanted to avoid grocery store brands to keep my cats healthy. Needless to say all my cats love this! Including my senior girl, Belle, who would not eat any of the food I bought her. Also, the puking has been kept to a minimum. I’d say maybe once a month and this usually happens because one of my cats will eat the food all at once really fast and then puke it up. I would say this definitely helps with puking and it seems to be delicious! Highly recommend trying this if your cat has a sensitive stomach.

Yes this has great ingredient’s But, This kibble is way to small, tiny baby kitten food. Trying to get my 3 cats off Nutro Senior Cat Food and switch to the Sensitive Stomach. I don’t know why everyone has to make Adult Cats food so tiny, Adult cats are the same size as a small breed dog and the cats kibble should be about the same size so they chew it up, not swallow it and dropped every where making a mess, so frustrating. Good cat food with bigger kibble is hard to find. Nutro Senior Cat Food, my 15 yr old is eating it like she is starving and pooping everywhere outside the box, my 5 yr old gain 1 lb in a month, this food is not filling at all but the kibble is a great size. Last resort on the  Sensitive Stomach was IMAS which has the right size libble, but not the best ingredient.

My almost 13 year old cat Marie-Louise has had diarreah for about 3 weeks… I was ruining myself in buying anti diarreah liquids, pastes, etc… One could buy tons and tons of anti dearreah products, if you do not change the food, it is worth nothing…The food has to be changed to stop diarreah…First and foremost.I am always careful when I buy and inctoduce my 4 cats to new food. I prefer buyibng smaller sizes at first, just in cas my 2 male cats and my 2 female cats would not like it.I was hearing – even her veterinarian – say “you can keep feeding the 3 others with their refular food, but Marie-Louise will have to be fed with seinsitive stomach / anti diarreah food. This is impossible to do.The food and water is there for all cats.I really do not see marie-Louise be in a room with a closed door to eat, all by herself. No way,Merrick’s Sensitive Somach Salmon is a true miracle. Inony 2 days eating onlky this, her diarreah was completely gone,. No more “lakes” of brown water, and no more lose stool neither,.I’ll be buying 12 lbs bags (the bigger size) from now on.The higher price is really worth it, believe me. I have been buying Merrick dry cat food for a little over a year and my cats are doing well on it. I like it because it works for both my cat with a sensitive stomach and my cat with a skin issue. Those problems have mostly disappeared since I completely switched to this food.
I like Merrick because of its quality and that it has different foods to address the different needs of cats.

My orange tabby was throwing up with Hills Science and had runny stool with the Purina One diet. I tried probiotics which did not help, Blue sensitive wetfood, Orijen and finally Merricks. Orijen was a pretty good option, but contributed to constipation. Merricks was the best overall for my kitty. He hasn’t vomited since I stopped Hills Science and his stool health has improved drastically – no more litter box issues! This is a great kstomach stabilizer.

I have 4 cats. My boy cat who is 9 has always had loose stool. He also started going #2 outside of the box several years ago. I took him to the vet for this at least 3 times but he was healthy. After switching from Merrick Indoor to Purina Wright Management, the incidents outside of the box increased. I started him on Hyperbiotics Probiotics and looked for a sensitive stomach formula dry formula. However, I was concerned about weight management. I was pleasantly surprised to find this formula as it ticked all of the boxes! Sensitive formula, pre and probiotics and healthy weight support! My guys have been eating this for 5 weeks now and I’m pleased to say that my boy cat not only has not gone outside of the box but his stool is more consistent and he doesn’t look as puffy around the middle. All of the cats seem to have more energy and the number of barfing incidents has decreased greatly. Overall, I’ve seen a positive increase in my cats health since switching to this formula. I highly recommend it, especially if your cat has had tummy/digestion issues. Thank you Merrick!

My 6 year old has thrown up several times a week all her life. I used to feed her a tablespoon at a time to keep the issue under control, but she wasn’t any better. So after a recent vet visit and after I had purchased other “sensitive stomach “ single source foods with no improvement, I tried Merrick. It’s a miracle! She gets to eat at will and feels so much better.

I have six kitties ranging in age from four to eleven years old. All very spoiled and picky. Some with sensitive digestion. Merrick does the trick. Hardly any hair balls or just throwing up. Their coats are just beautiful. Someone is always at the dish enjoying some merrick. The other even more expensive brand was not nearly as successful in my house where the cats rule.

I normally buy the smaller bag, but the shelves were empty of all but the 12lb size. The smaller bag can be resealed to keep the food fresh after opening, but once I opened this bag, there was no re-closure feature to keep the bag sealed and the rest of the food fresh. The food itself is great and my cat loves it. He has had no digestive issues since I have been feeding him this brand and formula. However, to have such a large bag of food that can’t be re-sealed doesn’t make sense, unless there was some quality control issue with this particular bag.

Khloè, my sweet girl was throwing up and not keeping any food down. She was on meow mix, which has not the greatest ingredients. The switch was easy because I was giving her wet food so it was a little easier on her tummy and brought back the dry food a little at a time, but she loves it! She hasn’t throw up other than when my Fiancé gave her meow mix on accident because he wasn’t aware of the switch. But that says something.. Merrick has done great things for my Khloè! I know it’s a bit pricey but when you have multiple cats and several are pukers, you’ll try everything suggested. This was recommended by a customer I was talking to. I think there’s been great improvement in my cats health and quality of life. Offsets extra trips to the vet. Tip: elevate the food and water bowls. Keep food and water apart that your pet needs to pause and walk over to get to the other bowls. Wish there were sale and coupon offerings once in awhile. Our multi-cat household have always eaten both wet and dry foods. However, we have one cat that was a chronic vomiter no matter what we tried, low-cost or expensive. We have been using Merrick Sensitive Stomach for several months now and it seems to have cured the issue. The only complaint is, in some bags, many of the pellets seem to be crushed, creating a dusty consistency. It also helps that we use an elevated, slow-eater bowl. I belive the shape and size of the kibble has increased and it no longer works for our cats. Kept them healthy for a few years but now we have switched to RC Digestive Care and the girls are back full health.

My almost 13 year old cat Marie-Louise has had diarreah for about 3 weeks… I was ruining myself in buying anti diarreah liquids, pastes, etc… One could buy tons and tons of anti dearreah products, if you do not change the food, it is worth nothing…

It’s weird. My husband bought this bag while I was on travel and it is very dusty. Like the pieces are there but the bag is all crushed up. My husband does t save re riots and by the time I came back I had to travel again so have to live with it. But real bummer because it isnt cheap and my Savannah’s seem to handle well but I may try another brand of food because I’m feeding them food dust

I’ve never written a review for cat food before but the effect that this food has had on my cat is worth sharing! I used to feed her Only Natural Pet Indoor Dinner, which was high protein but has been out of stock for months. She regularly was throwing up and was quite thin at age 8. After switching to this food she has not thrown up once, has gained a normal amount of weight and looks healthy, I even have seen a change in her mood where she just seems so happy and I can tell she really enjoys and likes this food! I’m so glad I chose Merrick Sensitive Stomach for her, if you are on the fence I hope this helps you not hesitate to give it a try!
