Love this and rabbits are able to chew on it safely. Most other items (plastic) are not safe and this is a great choice

I bought this bungalow for my 2 mating cockatiels and it is a perfect size to fit them both inside. I have been through so many bird houses that don’t fit their tail or the hole is too small or the nest is hidden. The wide opening was great to fit them both and they instantly made it home and nest.
Clyde the Tortoise (verified owner) –
I bought this product for my tortoise because he likes to burrow himself to keep warm and I thought this would be a great little nesting spot. He loves it. I added some coconut fibers inside of it and he loves it.

My guinea pig loves it he sleeps in it all the time.

Now with this cold weather this could be a good option for your piggies, its warm, cozy, the smell of hay gives them confort, they sleep in it, they play with it, they chew it, which is harmless since is made of hay.

My rabbit has been chewing everything and I thought this would give him something to chew on and leave other things alone. It seems to be working. Also, he likes to get inside it. He is a dwarf rabbit.

Very attractive looking hut for guinea pigs to hide out in. I have the medium, and it seems to be large enough for the two of them (1 year old). They do chew on it, but it is completely safe for them to do so. It looks better than the plastic huts on the market.

This is great because timothy hay is a big part of my chinchillas’ diet and they enjoy using it as a hide! It might be difficult for bunnies to fit in it though

I got this to replace the larger sized one that died the death of a rat-me-down from other boys for my big chonky ratty boys and it completely changed their rattitude. They absolutely adore it and it’s holding up really well

I bought this for one of my guinea pigs a little over a week ago, she went inside chewed on it for a bit and then decided she didn’t like it. I left it in her cage for a couple of days but she kept avoiding it. I’ve got three guinea pigs so I tried it with another one, but it was the same she wasn’t impressed. I had even thrown Timothy hay in it and treats to encourage them. Butterscotch ( guinea pig) loves it she was the last one to try it and she’s in it all of the time. It’s woven very well with no sharp pieces sticking out.

I love this Oxbow house especially for my guinea pig Draco, but my only problem is that it molds because he does use the bathroom in it and I’ve had to replace it at least twice so far because of that. And the other problem I have is that Oxbow does it make a bigger house my boy is chunky and I would really like it if Oxbow made a bigger version of this house that he loves.

I do animal rescue. I would seriously empty the shelves at the petsupplycanada!Love It!

I love the idea of an edible hide-out, and my bunny Blackberry chews on it sometimes, but the problem is that he can just barely fit inside. He never goes in there because he doesn’t have enough room to turn around, and is squished. He’s only five months old, and I got the large size for him, but he still doesn’t really fit. I’d recommend this product for rats and chinchillas and guinea pigs, but not really for rabbits. I think Oxbow should make a larger version that better fits rabbits.

I bought this last week for my guinea pigs and they absolutely love it. Hands-down the very best hidey spot that we have. We put a fleece liner inside to soak up any urine, but some still leaked through when they moved inside on the first day. We cleaned it up as soon as we saw it which was only a few hours, but the awful odor on the spiked spots stayed pungent even after multiple thorough cleanings. It’s going to have to be thrown away despite only being used a few days. I would LOVE to buy again and again and again if they redesign it without a bottom for easy cleaning.

My guinea pigs love this so much, but they also love to use it as a litter box. The back bottom of it got so smelly and soaked with urine that I ended up cutting it out. They still use it as a litterbox, but now the mess is easier to clean up. My only problem with this is that I wish it just didn’t have a bottom because this doesn’t stay sanitary at all. They’ve also chewed it all up and it’s pretty much completely destroyed so I’ll have to throw it away soon, but it was good while it lasted.
jpratt (verified owner) –
Both my pigs really loved it. However because it has a bottom it is extremely difficult to clean. A few weeks after I got it I noticed small flies starting to hang around my cage (never a problem before). So although they like to hide in it and eat it I ended up getting rid of it and my fly problem disappeared almost immediately.

It’s his new favorite hideout, I love it because he can chew on it and not chew on his plastic house that I replaced with this one. The minute I put this in are getting pigs cage he ran in and wouldn’t come out. The only problem is he poops in the back and it soaks through so this won’t last long. For the price that’s kind of a problem. I put a fabric bedding inside and just keep changing it out so he can continue to use it.

I got this for my five-month-old bunny Blackberry, since I loved the idea of an edible hide-out. Three months ago he could fit in it, but now he is nearly full-grown and can barely turn around in it. He does not use it because it is too small. Nor have I seen him chew on it, perhaps because he never uses it. I wish Oxbow would make an extra-large that rabbits could fit more comfortably in. Great for guinea pigs, rats and chinchillas, though!

This bungalow is fantastic! It is the perfect size for a guinea pig. Put a small blanket in the bottom to keep it from absorbing urine and it’s golden! I had to buy another so my piggies could each have one. My rabbit loves to chew on them as well.

My son’s Guinea Pig LOVES this bungalow !!Gizmo nibbles a little on the sides of it, but I try to make sure he has plenty of Timothy Hay in his hay ball. This will prevent him from eating his bungalow. So far, Gizmo enjoys his own “cave-like” home. It is much better than the clear castle that he moves about here and there. The Guinea Pig seems more content and happy with his new bungalow. It was instant “Love at First Sight!” We enjoy seeing him so excited about his new hide out. This is a great purchase!!!!!!!

It’s woven very well with no sharp pieces sticking out.

I bought it a week ago, (: my chinchilla supposed to sleep & chew but he just sleep for a day and chew the middle, think he loves that and I’m okay with that because we put the parts in his cage and he still chewing the rest and sleeping in the half of it

I bought this product about two months ago and my guinnea loves it. She chews on it and enjoys sleeping in it. However, the cleanliness of it is where it concerns me. I now have to throw it away because it is too dirty and I don’t want her eating the soiled spots. But otherwise it is a great, cute and safe product for your guinnea!

This is great because timothy hay is a big part of my chinchillas’ diet and they enjoy using it as a hide! It might be difficult for bunnies to fit in it though

Bought this for our two chinchillas and they had it destroyed within a couple days. Would not buy again.

This bungalow is fantastic! It is the perfect size for a guinea pig. Put a small blanket in the bottom to keep it from absorbing urine and it’s golden! I had to buy another so my piggies could each have one. My rabbit loves to chew on them as well.

Love this and rabbits are able to chew on it safely. Most other items (plastic) are not safe and this is a great choice

My Guinea pigs only really use this as a bathroom. I’ve only had this for about a week and I have to throw it out because it is so unsanitary and hard to clean.

I love the idea of an edible hide-out, and got the largest size for my bunny Blackberry. Despite the fact that I got the largest size, and despite the fact that he is only five months old, he barely fits in it, and because of that never goes inside it. He also rarely chews on it. Great for guinea pigs, rats and chinchillas, but maybe not for rabbits. I wish Oxbow would make a larger version that rabbits could actually fit in!

Just rescued 2 bunnies. They love their new Oxbow Timothy Club Small Bungalow!! I am new to having rabbits as companion animals. I am learning day by day. Oxbow products are highly recommended by people with a ton of rabbit experience, more than me.lol My new bunnies are in heaven with their new igloo!!They do everything in there.lol play eat and sleep peacfully. You guys should make a comparable product for doggies and kitties!!olI have a houseful of them. I do animal rescue. I would seriously empty the shelves at the petsupplycanada!Love It!
