Our dog has had constant irritated ears and itchy paws. He would scratch at his ears until they bled. Our vet said it is a food allergy. We tried all of the expensive hypoallergenic prescription dog food. I put my 12 year old Heeler mix on this per our Vet, as we have been dealing with excessive itching for about 2 and half years. Vet stated she thinks our dog is allergic to chicken. Started this Dec. 1 2024, all of January and now into February. Also during this time dog has been on Prednisone. Tried weening off Prednisone last week and itching returned with an ear infection as well. We will try another month. I can say my dog seems to like this especially when mixed with the same flavor/brand of the can. We divide the can into 3 servings which gives of 3 days per can… cheaper than a topper. This food is pretty expensive we were really hoping it would help with allergies and itching as the allergy shots are so expensive! I guess time will tell…also this kibble is really small however my dog is 70 lbs and doesn’t have any issues with it as he had issues with larger kibble hopefully this helps someone 4 stars due to be so expensive!!!

Well it was a mistake buying this as both my dogs got sick on it. I started on 2 small bags and went to bigger bag and used about 2 cups out of it. I switched back to Stella & Chewy duck and they love it.

I was so unhappy when I got an email saying that my store wasn’t going to carry this size bag. It has helped my pups immensely. My pups are smaller dogs so the smaller breed bites are best for them. I tried going to the regular bites size and 1 of my pups was having a harder time. Small breed bites are great for both pups. I would recommend this brand to anyone with smaller pups with stomach or skin issues.

My one rescue has staffordshire terrier in her and stomach is sensitive to foods as well as other outdoor allergies. So my vet recommended Purina pro plan sensitive stomach and she said the Salomon would be best for her. She loves it, the cat eats it as well making myn2 jealous but they allow hus small nibbles in their dish. My other rescue beagle mix also likes this but many times she’d rather have a chicken base food which is fromm. But I give them variety of different ones, gives them something to look forward to, just buy small bag, more expensive but my 2 dog’s are worth it.

My friend recommended Proplan sensitive skin and stomach formula fir her. I gave it a try and she is doing amazing on it. She no longer has stomach issues. Her coat is beautiful and shinny. I have used this product fir 7 years and am really glad I made the switch. Pro plan is such a great food! I feed all of my dogs it.

My chiweenie absolutely loves this food! It is worth the money for sure! I tried to switch to the regular small breed (just yo buy a bigger bag to limit the number of times I buy his food, the closest store for this food to me is 30 minutes) but he seems to prefer this one and how kind it is to his tummy. He coat looks absolutely beautiful when on it as well. He will continue to get it the rest of his life! If he is happy, I am happy!

My dog was put on another food by her vet because she had an issue throwing up. It helped a bit but she was still throwing up a few times a week. We changed her to this since the associate at petsupplycanada suggested it. I was a bit hesitant because I think they will always show you the most expensive food and tell you how great it is and to buy it lol. However this stuff is wonderful! My dog has been eating this for a month and a half and has not thrown up not once!! This is the longest my dog has went without an upset tummy and she’s 3 years old. I loooove this brand!!!

My dog has very sensitive skin, which is prone to getting inflamed, dry and itchy from many different foods, including chicken foods. I tried the salmon and rice formula and her skin cleared up nicely. She has no upset tummy and her stools are back to being normal. I will be definitely sticking with this brand from here on out. I give this to my dogs as small treats throughout the day & they enjoy it. I’m very specific about keeping the nutrition within optimal ranges when it comes to dog food. So this isn’t my top choice for their main diet, but I still trust Purina for their feeding trials and for being WSAVA compliant. I prefer to give my dogs balanced dog food as treats instead of commercial treats with a lot of additives and unnecessary extras. This food works perfectly for that. Both my pups have sensitive stomachs, and one is extremely picky, but this food hasn’t caused any issues and they both love it as a treat. The fun kibble shape is also a plus.

I have an 11-year-old Yorkshire, suddenly one day he began to have many digestive problems, if he ate something other than his croquettes he would have diarrhea, I felt that his food did not complement him, he regularly had yellow vomit until one day I took him to the vet and he told me that when they reach adulthood dogs should be better vitaminized, some commercial brands do not provide enough vitamins and for this reason we decided to change to Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach and it turned out to be wonderful, Since then my dog has not had a stomach ache, he has not had diarrhea and the best thing is that he likes it a lot, he eats at his own hours and has never had episodes of vomiting again

I put my 12 year old Heeler mix on this per our Vet, as we have been dealing with excessive itching for about 2 and half years. Vet stated she thinks our dog is allergic to chicken. Started this Dec. 1 2024, all of January and now into February. Also during this time dog has been on Prednisone. Tried weening off Prednisone last week and itching returned with an ear infection as well. We will try another month. I can say my dog seems to like this especially when mixed with the same flavor/brand of the can. We divide the can into 3 servings which gives of 3 days per can… cheaper than a topper. This food is pretty expensive we were really hoping it would help with allergies and itching as the allergy shots are so expensive! I guess time will tell…also this kibble is really small however my dog is 70 lbs and doesn’t have any issues with it as he had issues with larger kibble hopefully this helps someone 4 stars due to be so expensive!!!
