My Aussie Doodle puppy is a strong chewer and we were going through toys very quickly. I finally broke down and bought the medium sized antler, hoping she wouldn’t chew through it in a couple days. She loved it! It took her about a month and a half of chewing pretty much every day to gnaw it down to a size that’s unsafe and a potential choking hazard. She didn’t bite off any pieces, it’s not slimy or stinky after it’s been in her mouth a while, and it’s lasted longer than most nylon based dog chew toys we bought her, so despite the steep cost, I feel it was worth it. I will purchase again. I just wish they would go on sale more often.

We’re going into the vet this afternoon to get it checked out but it looks bad. A chip of molar came off, the inside of the tooth is exposed, and the rest of the molar has a crack going all the way up to the gumline. Be very careful with these.

Got this for our 7 month old Springer pup. She goes through most treats and toys very fast, either destroying them or eating them in minutes. She was quite happy to chew on this antler for long periods of time, with little change to the antler. We gave her a hoof prior to this, but she would break off shards and they would be both dangerous to her and sharp if we stepped on them on the carpet.

I buy these antlers every two months for our puppy. It has been the best thing to keep her busy and she loves chewing on them daily. Our 9 month old puppy has always been an aggressive chewer so these antlers only last 1-2 months before we have to take them away because they are too small and it may be a choking hazard.
