I have been trying a few different brands over the last little bit to try and find one that works for him and that he enjoys. Crystals in male kitties are very scary, and expensive. It’s an easy fix to incorporate some moisture to their diet with liquid food plus using a special diet food. It took a minute for my cat to get onto it, I was doing a ratio mix in with his regular food , and he seemed to kind of pick around the new food but after a couple of days he seemed to get into it and enjoy it. This may become his regular urinary diet dry food. I like the ingredient list and that it is sold at my vet , that tells me it’s a good product. As long as my kitty will still continue to enjoy this product , I’ll repurchase it.

It’s a little pricy, but we incorporate the kibble as a lunch/snack option so it lasts for many months. We rely more heavily on the wet food canned food from the Urinary Care line, which we’ve been using for a longer time as her dinner. (She gets a different wet food for breakfast.)
I would like to try gradually replacing her wet food from the urinary care with this kibble, since the kibble seems a little more cost effective. We’ll need to monitor her further.

I was buying this for my cats for some time. Then when inflation hit, the prices went up up on this as well. I bought this brand but the indoor cat food instead, as it was cheaper. I found that both of my cats urine was very odiferous! When it was time to buy a new bag, I went back to the urinary care. They’re back on track. I will continue to buy this food for them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve got multiple (6) cats, with 3 of them being very picky eaters. This food is the only kind that every one of my cats loved. They acted like this food was a treat rather than their actual food. My oldest cat, who has a sensitive stomach, has a hard time keeping hard food down but hasn’t had any issues with it at all since starting on this food. I’ve alway worried that my cats weren’t drinking enough water but this food has helped to increase their water intake. This is definitely a food that I will continue to feed my cats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My main reason for wanting to try this food for our two cats is that one is a neutered male (the other a spayed female); he’s never had any urinary issues before, but having had a male cat years ago who suffered from FUS, I want to be proactive. The good news is both of our cats seem to enjoy this food. The bad is in the ingredients list, the first two entries of which are corn, then wheat gluten. Chicken meal is the third; while this is of a higher quality than ‘by-product’ meal would be, for a food this expensive, I would expect the first ingredient to be actual meat, followed by ‘meal’, with any grains not showing up until at least the 3rd or 4th ingredient. There are many other cat foods with better ingredients for less than half the cost of this one, and our cats like them just as much. Sorry, but we’ll be sticking with those.

I bought this a few days ago because my cat is/was on the prescription version of royal canin an since I was told that it is exactly the same as the prescription product, I bought it saving a few bucks, but the cat won’t eat it. So there’s $79 I just threw out the window.

They are all between 7-10 years old so I’m trying to look out for their health. They eat every bite of their Royal Canin urinary care food and that makes me happy that they aren’t spilling kitty kibble everywhere.
