We recommend at least a 7-day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

My cat vomits every 4 days. Doctors have not found any cause in 10 years. But on their recommendation we have been using this food most of that time. Otherwise she seems to be healthy and happy. I have tried the canned version but she seems to be more fussy about that if it stays out and open any period of time.
AuntSadie (verified owner) –
Despite being the brand my cats have eaten since kittenhood, they will not eat this variety even if it’s mixed with other Royal Canin dry food. I will be returning it for the kind they like.
Pattysmom (verified owner) –
My cat loves this food and so far she has not been vomiting like she does with other foods!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try this brand of cat food out for my cat because she wouldn’t eat her food some nights and so I switched it up for her and every night she has been eating her food. One night I swapped it back to the old to see if she would realize and she didn’t eat it until I swapping it out with the new food I got her. A great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my indoor cats loved this. I didn’t have any trouble getting them to eat it. Their stomach handled it well. I never saw puke like I usually do nor any runny stool. I would recommend this product to anyone!

We have two cats, three months apart in age, and both recently turned a year old. They had been eating the RC kitten food up until that point. Our boy, Leo, was from a rescue and had digestion issues when we got him. They said it was a stomach virus his whole litter had. It cleared up a couple of weeks after we took him home, but even though he got over that virus, his digestion has never been great. We transitioned both kitties over to this formula from the kitten one, as they each turned one. They both love it, and they both have normal bathroom trips with it. There has been a couple of times where this one wasn’t in stock and we bought other RC formulas, but Leo’s sensitive stomach does its best with this one, and both cats seem to prefer this one for taste as well. They are happy to eat it, and I’m a happy cat mom that their stomachs do so well with
this one!

I purchased this since the label stated that the first ingredient was chicken meal, which is processed chicken meat. I saw on Royal Canin’s website that the label now reads, CHICKEN BI-PRODUCTS as the first ingredient and was told that this changed in 2021. There is a huge difference between Chicken meal which is actually chicken meat, and bi-products, which are what is left after the meat is removed.
Boo Kitten (verified owner) –
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rescued two kittens from the local shelter a few years ago. Bringing them home, I bought regular kitten food from the local Pet Store. Within days my littlest kitten, Boo, started losing hair on her face. Long story short, Boo was allergic to her food. We now have new “Boo Food.”

I am so happy to say that Royal Canin Sensitive Digestion Dry Cat Food has been a godsend in my home and now I have a happy cat who is no longer tired and lethargic. He has a bounce back in his step and I am so happy to see him acting like a kitten again!! Thank You Royal Canin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Royal Canin Sensitive Digestion dry cat food is a miracle in a bag! I adopted a stray cat ( Miss Kitty ) after finding her under my porch one day. From day one she suffered from stomach issues. She would vomit after eating. I tried every food I could find wet and dry, but nothing helped. I tried Royal Canin and I was thrilled with the results! First Miss Kitty loved the food, she ran to her bowl, and she is one finicky cat! She ate every morsel and has kept this food down! No more vomiting! I’m not sure what the ingredients are in this cat food. I know it has prebiotics and proteins that help with digestion. Other than that I think they must sprinkle some magic in every bag, it’s the only explanation. I’m thankful that I’ve found a food that my pet can tolerate and keep down. I highly recommend this cat food to any pet owner that is having health issues with their pet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this for my dsh cat for the past year and its been great! He was previously on Rx food, but this Royal Canin formula has kept his digestive system in great shape and he happily gobbles it up every morning – plus it’s so much more affordable than prescription!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The girl cat has been hooked to eating the royal canin sensitive digestion because I think it’s quite easy on her tummy. I have been mixing this food with her regular food and I have not noticed any upset stomach. I will continue using this food in the future should the issue persist. Happy Cat Happy Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of my cats absolutely love this food. It’s smaller sized kibble so they can chew it better. The bag stays fresh and clean. They have not had any issues with the food and its easy on their systems. It even smells fresh.

I have a Mainecoon mixed breed cat. He has gastrointestinal issues/ diseases. If he eats something he shouldn’t he will have blood in his vomit and stool. This is the only cat food we’ve found that doesn’t cause him issues. The other product that’s 6 lb bag that’s 30 dollars, works well also. This one is more economical. We’re very grateful for this cat food!

I started buy this product a few months ago trying to find a dry food that my cats would eat. To my surprise all 3 of them liked it very much. I had to buy a much bigger back this time in order to keep their dishes full
MyCowboy (verified owner) –
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my cat, Cowboy, that I had inherited from my mom. He had a history of puking up his food on a daily basis and did the same when I got him. Ugh! I tried better quality cat foods but no luck. I deducted over time, that this was possibly due to stress and nerves. After a visit with the Vet, he suggested Royal Canin for Sensitive Digestion. I bought both the canned and the dry, and he loved both! Almost immediately, hIs vomiting subsided and to this day it rarely happens! I’m so glad Royal Canin makes this food! Cleaning the carpet on a daily basis gets old and I can now say that is the past! In fact, this food is so good tasting that I can’t keep my two other kitties away from it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 5 cats ranging in age from 2 years to 12 years of age. I’ve offered other foods, usually at the same time, but they all seem to prefer the Sensitive Digestion Dry cat food. One of the 5 is feral, but comes to my outside feeding table each day morning and evening and chooses to eat the Royal Canin. The inside furry children do likewise. I put down two bowls of dry food, one with Royal Canin and the other with another quality brand and at the end of the day, the Royal Canin Bowl is empty. Only then do the inside kitties resort to either nagging me to the enth degree or begrudgingly eating the other brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been offering my cats this from kitten to adult because of the sensitive system cats have. Prior to this label I used the protein 33 before the label change. My cats Life extends between 18 and 23 years. Going to the vets on the avergae of 2 times for check ups. In 30 years, my cats have not been going to the vet for the usual digestive issues. Being practive instead of waiting for a problem saves thousands of dollars over the years.

I mix the Royal Canin Sensitive Digestion and Urinary Care foods with their Orijen Senior Guardian and Guardian 8 food. This blend has virtually eliminated the daily vomiting of both of my senior cats (ages 16 and 13). My male 13 year old no longer has urinary issues (history of 2 urinary infections)!! Our 15 month old and 3 year old girls love this food as much as the boys. We feed them all the Dental food as TREATS. They all come running as soon as they hear me opening the bag. They get one piece at a time which they have to chew instead of swallowing it. They all have amazing teeth, no tarter, and NO bad breath. Royal Canin is AWESOME and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

So I was pretty anxious to try this Sensitive Digestion dry to see if it helped her. She hasn’t upchucked in over a week, so it seems to be working. Will be switching over to this Royal Canin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Royal Canin® brand is synonymous with high quality, and this Sensitive Digestion Dry Cat Food is no different. One of our cats was having some digestive issues and runny stools, but after a few days of eating this food he was going to the litter box less often and thankfully not having any accidents before he got to the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We foster cats and kittens and many come to us with very upset tummy’s. This food has been a life saver. Yes, it does cost a bit more, but the savings in vet visits, medication and having to clean up accidents makes it well worth the extra cost. Picture shows different shapes of food within the bag.

But when I opened this cat food my dolly cat came running and she ate the whole bowl. So I’m thinking it’s just because it’s new and different. But I’ve fed it to her all week and every day she empty’s he bowl. So this is my new food she has such a beautiful coat and seems happier.

I have several =^..^= with ahem.. stinky diarrhea. My beloved new rescue cat, Stanley stpped eating completely, so after $700 at the vet with no change – I found “Pet Pectillin” which is awesome, over-the-counter (petsupplycanada sells it) coats the stomach, works fast, and cheap! Next step, get him to eat! Stanley immediately ate this food and loved it! Within a few days, Stan the Man had his smile back and loves this food! Thank you petsupplycanada and Royal Canin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Royal Canin for sensitive digestion is an amazing cat food! My cats love it. It was so funny when I opened this bag I had cats surround me sniffing wanting some! I think they think it’s treats because it’s so good. They will sit there and eat a whole bowl and ask for more and they don’t do that with their regular food. This may really become their regular food if it’s easy to find in my area! If not I will try to find it online because I can tell they really enjoy this food. I would recommend it to everyone with kitties.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We couldn’t find an adult dry cat food that our cat would eat/not barf up until we switched to Royal Canin’s Sensitive Dry Cat Food. Our cat loves the flavor and only throws up a couple times a day verses all day long! She’s a long haired tortie with a BIG personality. For whatever reason she gobbles down her food way too fast. So, now we feed her tiny portions multiple times per day. Even though she still barfs, it’s way less than before. Any improvement is a good improvement! I do wish we could find some food that wouldn’t make her throw up at all, but it’s so costly to try other foods with our picky eater! All in all, we are satisfied and will continue to purchase Royal Canin for our fur baby.

One of my young kitties has stomach issues and vomits after eating. Purchasing royal Canin digestive food was the best thing I could’ve done for her. She has been stable and not vomiting. She loves the food and soda my other cats. I buy only Royal Canaan food, but this one’s a winner! The shape of the food, and apparently the taste is the best for my cats!

I initially purchased to use as treats for my sensitive cat, however, he loves it so much he sits outside the pantry and meows for it every time I’m in the kitchen or remotely close to the pantry. I added some to his dish of normal dry food and he piece by piece selected each kibble of the Royal Canin food, leaving the other on the floor! I will now be transitioning to the Sensitive Stomach food for regular feeding.

Tillie has been up chucking most days for years. Vet can find nothing wrong with her. We have tried numerous brands and types of food. We could not get prescription food Without the doctor ordering it ( we do not see him until October), so decided to try RC sensitive digestion dry cat food. So far, in two weeks she has not thrown up. Hope this is the answer. A little more pricey than others.

The bag does not reseal, the zipper that you are supposed to reseal the bag with to ensure good freshness was either poorly designed or just not functioning . The food is now stale because there is no way to reseal the bag for freshness . Please do better , I already reached out about this issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been feeding Royal Canin for about 3 years now and I have always loved the results from their food! My cats are very picky eaters and when I find something they like in terms of dry food it’s a miracle! This formula sets well with their tummies and keeps them feeling full throughout the day! The ingredients are okay, not nearly what would be ideal for a holistic approach, more on the performance side. I will say that Royal Canin has put a lot of research into their formulations to ensure that my babies are getting everything they need!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was just what my cat needed for digestive issues. I have tried many different foods and special diets for her and this food finally made her feel so much better. Other foods would either make her sick or not eat at all. She no longer has runny bowel movements and she goes regularly. She is also eating better now that her tummy feels better. This is the definite choice for my cat!

Since I started the sensitive digestion dry cat food, I have not seen 1 runny stool in the solid 3 months she has been on it and she absolutely LOVES getting her scoop of dry food. She purrs and rubs all over my legs and gets so excited. I love that she loves it and I love that it supports her sensitive stomach needs and allows her to be healthy!

Shortly after bribing my cat home I realized he had watery stools. At first I thought it was stress due to his new environment. After a month or so it continued and I took him to the vet, he got antibiotics, dewormer, and probiotics. Unfortunately, it did not work. I change his food to a non-fish food another month passed and he still had diarrhea. I took him to the vet once more and he got a stronger antibiotic, probiotic and fortunately he did not allow the vet to get a stool sample. To send his feces to the lab was $300! The vet technician recommended Royal Canine before performing the fecal test. It has been almost 2 months and I could see the difference within a week. He no longer experience diarrhea. The food is price $18 for a 3 pound bag but it is so with it!

There is also a dry food especially made for Siamese that we use as a special treat. If you love your furry roommate as much as I love mine, Royal Canin is the answer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My picky cat with a sensitive stomach loves this food. I haven’t noticed any tummy or vomiting issues with him since making the switch. The kibble is a cute little shape too that seems good for their teeth. I love Royal Canin. I fed the brand to my dog for years and always saw a healthy coat and skin. It’s a little too early to see the coat and skin with this particular food for my cat, but so far so good!

I’ve been feeding my cat this food for the past 13 years she is still very healthy with no dental problems and very minimal hairball issues she has a long hair feline and I recommend this food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat absolutely enjoyed the Royal Canin Sensitive Digestion Dry cat food. The tiny bits are easy to chew and very flavorful. He immediately stuck his head in the bag as soon as I opened it. Not only does my cat enjoy the taste the benefit this food also helps with bathroom time for softer stools. Overall, a great source of food for your fur baby.

Excellent expensive cat food. I love it when my cats eat it too fast and throw it up promptly after in piles all over the house to show me my money.

My 4 cats love it, over all other dry food. We always buy hairball type food and sensitive stomach for cats. I would reckon this to all long hair cats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat Ruda, who is 9, is an over-eater and throws up a lot. He appears to like the Royal Canin Sensitive Digestion food. He hasn’t been over-eating since starting this food about 3 weeks ago. No more throwing up daily either! Yay! I have noticed a lot more regurgitating of hairballs though (he’s a Main Coon). Mr. Rude, as I call him, is using the litter box regularly without any issues and is happy and healthy and I am happy that I am not having to shampoo the carpet daily anymore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great food for our two cats. One is a senior and the other is a year old. Both enjoy this mix a lot and I’ve noticed less gagging (hairballs), stools are better consistency and their overall moods are like kittens again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat is the pickiest eater I have ever owned. He is so selective about what he will eat. He absolutely loves this! I can feel good that it is from a trusted brand that has experts help create the kibble. It is an appealing odor for a cat food and the shapes are just the right size for kitty to easily chew. Although we don’t have digestion issues, I like knowing that this won’t upset his system. I am thrilled to have found a new kibble that he loves so much. He gets excited when I pour it in his bowl and that makes me so happy.

It’s the only food that I can’t can tolerate with her sensitive stomach. All other food does not work for her. However it’s getting way too expensive 7 pounds of food for $33 it should be more like $24

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As my cat has gotten older she has started having a sensitive stomach. Our vet suggested using this and it has made a real difference.
She has gone from throwing up daily to barely having any issues. The food is easy to find at our local pet store.

Have been using this for my female tabby calico now for a couple of years, throw ups are minimal thank heavens! Just an occasional one sometimes, nothing compared to what was happening before, kibble in kibble out fur is shinier and thick ! Proplan sensitive stomach chicken rice was previous kibble , she loved the taste , but couldn’t retain it , this one so far has lived up to its name . As far as taste goes can’t tell , because she only eats a few pieces at a time whereas prior to starting this it was gobble gobble munch chomp gone , but overall I am satisfied with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Royal Canin Sensitive Digestion Dry cat food has been such a great addition to my cat’s diet. They both have been having issues with the normal food that they have been eating. I had them on this dry cat food for about 5 days and I saw marked improvement in the litter box. They both devour it as well.

Why did you change your formula? This was the only food my cat could eat without vomiting, I have been using it for over 3 years. Now since your new formula he is back to vomiting after eating. I guess I will have to search for a different food again. Disappointed with your new formula.
Unhappy customer 2021 (verified owner) –
I purchased this for my senior cat with digestive issues. It did not help his throwing up issues so we discontinued giving it to him. We have another younger healthier cat without any digestive issues so we started to give this to him to use up the bag. Unfortunately, this food made him throw up as well. In other words, Royal Canin sensitive digest was a complete waste of money for us. It might taste good, but it does not help with digestive issues and makes healthy cats throw up. Not recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a household of two cats that have had finicky stomachs since kittenhood. The Royal Canin Sensitive Digestive cat food has helped to dramatically reduce the number of hairballs and other “incidents.” Both cats seem to love the flavor and are happy to run over and eat a bowl. While never the best smelling thing in the world, this food is okay enough that we are fine feeding in the kitchen with people present.

I have two seriously picky eaters, one of whom only ate soft, canned food before I tried the Royal Canin Sensitive formula. Now they both visit the food bowl several times a day, eating healthy amounts of food, and their litter box habits are really solid (ha!).

I tried this food instead of going to the vet with one of our cats to see if her bloody stool and diarrhea would resolve. Within five days she was fine and the others even seemed calmer and happier. They LOVE this food. I also have found that they don’t eat as much, which would seem to indicate less filler and more nourishment.

This is the cat food my 10 yr old cat likes along with the Royal Canin Digestion. He has vomiting episodes very frequently due to whatever is lurking around within side of him. My vet told me to put MiraLAX on his food to help the constipation. It states on the bag of food this food helps with constipation, but it did not with my cat. Since I have sprinkled MiraLax on his food it has stopped his awful vomiting and now has more substantial bowl movements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an extremely picky cat when it comes to food and treats. I’m not sure why but there’s just certain things she won’t eat or she eats once and then wont eat again. She seems to favor dry food more than wet food so I thought maybe it has something to do with digestion so was really excited to try this and see if it helps her and if she would eat it. She ate it and had no issues. The next day I was worried it would be a no go with her but I was pleasantly surprised when she immediately started eating it. I’m not a vet but I can tell that she seems a bit more energized and spunky since she’s been eating this. I have no clue if it was a suggestion issue with the other foods but it seems that maybe the case and whatever it is I’m just glad she’s enjoying her food, she’s more active and in a better mood and it’s easy on her digestive system. All 3 are wins in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 5 cats, so it’s important for me to find a food that suits all of them. This includes my picky eaters and two with a sensitive stomach. This Royal Canin Sensitive Digestion dry cat food for adults is exactly what I needed. This was a success and all of my cats enjoyed this. I started by mixing it in with my current dry food (which you should ALWAYS do when changing your cats food), and continued until the old food was gone. They never skipped a beat and have been enjoying this since. I’ve noticed that there has been less regurgitation immediately after eating, which is something my sensitive kitties experienced prior. I’m very happy with this cat food and plan to keep using it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat vomits a lot, has a weak stomach and he constantly over-grooms himself. This food came in handy and on time, at the time of his upset stomach to the point he didn’t want to eat anything for a couple of days. He ate this food and for a couple of weeks now is loving it. He did puke once, but it was mostly hairball. Seems to really work. I love that it’s soft, because my cat is 15 years old and teeth aren’t the same anymore. Overall very happy customers, both me and my cat.

We have had our cat on this diet for 8 years now and she went from throwing up daily and multiple FHS symptoms to 100 percent happy kitty. She may chase her tail once in the am but she literally had pulled all the hair off the tip when we got her she would race around as if the ceiling was falling hiss and attack her tail. Now she is calm, loving, playful and almost never throws up. Shortly after going on this diet the hair grew back on her tail. Thank goodness for this diet. Also we free feed so her bowls are always full yet she only picks what she wants and needs. 1 seven pound bag lasts her a very long time making the price more than workable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats absolutely love this food. My kitties are both a bit over 10 years old, and finding quality food for them to both enjoy and be nutritious and healthy can be a challenge- but this food truly caters to all their needs. Previously before giving them this dry food, they had struggled with enjoying healthy dry food- and even vomiting frequently. This dry food has made such a positive impact on their health, from healthy digestive patterns, to even noticing that their fur is more soft and their waste not smelling as bad. I’m so grateful to have discovered a brand of dry cat food that my cats can enjoy AND have proper health and nutrition from. Would absolutely recommend to any cat owner, this is truly a game changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted to shift my cats to something that would potentially help their digestive issues after our vet mentioned it was worth trying. Decided to try this one first and it seems to have helped slightly. This also just seems like slightly higher quality cat food so that may be playing a role here too. Overall, I’m happy, and the cats seem happy which is what’s important!

I ordered this because one of my cats had been puking after every meal. I decided to switch both cats over to avoid my cat eating the same food that made him puke. My cat with the sensitive stomach continued to puke and now I have him on prescription wet food (Royal Canin PD). However, my other cat who never had digestive issues, is now puking after every meal, bright orange, the color of the food. I was worried it was my cat getting sick again, but I caught my other cat in the act. I find it peculiar that this had a negative impact on both of my cats. If your cat is vomiting, avoid this food!!!

One of my younger adopted cats, Leo, came to the rescue as a kitten with his six sisters and his mom. At the time, they all had a stomach virus of some sort that the vets were keeping an eye on. He is now a totally fine, healthy, almost 2 year old cat, but he still does have a sensitive stomach. If he eats too fast sometimes he’ll have vomiting or sometimes with different foods. About a year ago, not too long after we got him and shortly after he got off kitten food, we started feeding him Royal Canin sensitive digestion and since then his vomiting and other tummy issues have mostly disappeared completely. We have a female cat as well and they both just love this dry food (we do feed them RC wet food also). I will probably never take them off this one unless a health issue warrants a different food.

My 13yr old cat Dunkin enjoys the RC Sensitive Digestion Dry Cat Food. He is doing so much better with his Digestive problem, and likes the RC dry food better than his wet food. He has just the dry food in the morning. For his dinner I mix dry and wet food together. It smells good too. No stinky smell like dry food with junk ingredients Thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this about a week ago and I tried it out with my cat who has a lot of issues with eating most cat foods. She really likes it but the only thing is she still picky eats over her cat food. I would say with switching her to this particular cat food she is eating a lot more than what she usually eats. So that is a big plus. It does have a small funny smell but other than that it’s OK with me and my cat.

Royal Canin Sensitive Stomach is the only food to significantly reduce his vomiting to almost never, after trying many other similar brands. Thank you Royal Canin

I bought this about a month ago and am so glad I did. I have a little calico with a sensitive tummy. She is a rescue whom I’ve had for 6 years.
During that time she has always vomited a few times a month. Sometimes right after eating.
I’ve tried other high-end brands with no improvement.
I switched her to RC Sensitive dry food and from the first day, no vomiting. ZERO.
Not only that, she loves this food. She has never been a big eater and has always been thin. Well, she is eating now and doing great.
I also love the “X” shape. Cats don’t really chew their food much and I think the X shape makes it easier to break down vs a pellet shape.
We are thrilled!!! Thank you!!
