My dog ate Blue Buffalo for the first 5+ years of her life. We always thought she had a weak stomach because of regular loose stools and accidents in the house. We switched to RC on our vets recommendation and she has had no issues since. Been on RC for over 6 months. She also likes it much more and has more energy!

I bought this and Brandy is happy
It’s healthy and no problems for her to eat it

We have been buying this food since October and it’s the best! Dogs love it!

My rescue choclate lab had serious urinary tract issues when I first brought her home. We used the Royal Canin SO for a few years and that issue cleared up. As I wanted to ensure that she was getting the proper nutrition, I tried this food and the results are highly positive. Her energy level is outstanding and she is more happy and playful.

My three Golden Retrievers love it!!!!! Great ingredients. Food has a clean pleasant aroma verses cheaper quality foods that are greasy and strong aroma.

My dog has been on Royal Canin her whole life. She is now almost 8 so is on the 5+. She loves it and it was a smooth transition between regular Large Breed and the 5+
Binz (verified owner) –
I have been buying this for years but the fact that it is frequently out of stock coupled with enormous increase in cost (it has almost doubled in the past 2 years) is making me find another brand.
Sarahhhhhhhh (verified owner) –
I’ve been buying Royal canin for my GSD for 4 years and the past 1 year I’ve been buying this specific food since my dog has gotten older. I will continue buying this for him and it’s never once made him sick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 large mixed dogs. I could never find a “one bag fits all” for them until I found Royal Canin. I also you sensitive skin during the months seasonal allergies flare up. And you know the smaller their stool is the better the nutrients they absorb. Well my yard isn’t half as full as it use to be. Royal Canin is awesome and a life saver!!
Tuller (verified owner) –
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two very picky eaters. And when you have 6 dogs having 6 different foods is not practical. So when I tried this food they all loved it and feeding time was now easier. Thanks for making a great food that has trusting ingredients.

I’ve used Royal Canin ever since my dogs were puppies, I have a male, long haired shepherd and a female Bernese/lab mix, I just switched them over to the 5 years old and the transition was flawless

I bought this brand a month ago and noticed a huge change in my dog buddy. He went from sleeping all the time and lying about to upbeat and acting like a puppy. Thank You Royal Canin!
Kevski (verified owner) –
My pup has been eating this food all her life. Through all the recipe changes and shortages. Now it’s just getting out of hand. Almost 120$ per bag? I should have changed brands long ago. Absolute money grab at this point.

I have been feeding Royal Canin for years! My Boxer started on the breed specific formula, and as she got older I switched her onto the Maxi Adult 5+ dry, she has done so well, has a lot of energy for her age, a shiny coat, and is is good health.
divermb (verified owner) –
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started our German Shepherd out on the breed specific as a 2 year old rescue and she did fantastic on it. Great coat and easy on her digestive system. As she has gotten older, we switched her to the large breed for 5 plus with absolutely no problems. I love this brand. We also feed Royal Canin breed specific to our Miniature Schnauzer.
Sarahhhhhhhh (verified owner) –
I’ve repeatedly purchased this item. Prior to this one, I was purchasing the regular royal canin. My dog has never had any issues eating this food! This has been the only food my dog eats for the past 5 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My German Shepherd supposedly had allergies and was prescribed a RX diet which is expensive. After years of being extra careful with his diet I looked for something he could tolerate and I found Royal Canin Maxi Adult. He loves the bite size and flavor. I’ve saved a ton of money as well. Thank you Royal Canin
Gold retriever mom (verified owner) –
This is the only dog food my dog has consistently liked. We were giving her two different kinds of food, royal canin and another leading brand, but our vet said to just use royal canin. The only down side is the price! For some reason the ages 5+ selection is $20 more than the regular large breed formula and it can be hard to find at times.
Ddigital (verified owner) –
The best food ever!!! I looooooooooooooooooooooooove it
Sarahb22 (verified owner) –
My dog’s all love this brand. This especially helps with our old large breed dog.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have two doodles and this dogwood was recommended by one of the breeders who has been breeding dogs for almost 20 years. Our dogs love it and so do we!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two Bernese Mountain dogs that are eight and five. Royal Canine was recommended to me by their Breeder. The girls have been eating Royal Canine for the past four years. I have tried other foods in the past. One food might agree with one but not the other. Royal Canine is a food that both of the dogs thrive on. They have healthy coats and have plenty of energy for both of their ages. Their bodies seam to adsorb more of the food than other brands. It is the right balance for my girls. I would and do recommend Royal Canine to anyone that has a dog or cat.

My dog is loving it. Her old food i believe was the cause of her ear infections. She’s only been on this new food for just over a week and her ears are clearing up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ripley is my yellow lab, who is extremely picky and bores easily. After finding out she had food allergies, I was forced to find a food that would not effect her. Blue Buffalo, Natural Balance, Wild something or other…They worked fine for the allergies, but some Ripley would not touch, and others she would eat for a few weeks and then stop. I would have to find whatever leftover in the fridge to mix in to get her to eat. Her brother Jack had a reaction to Doggy IB and was prescribed Royal Canin Renal food while he recovered from kidney failure. SHE loved it, no mix in needed. So we found MAXI +5 and it has been our food for 5 years now. She likes the occasional mix in, but will eat the food plain with no problems or pouting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been buying this brand every since my dog was weeks old started with puppy, adult maxi and now maxi aging. So his been eating it years and he loves it. We always get compliments for having a nice and shiny coat.

Our 65 lb. Pit Bull likes to eat our German Shepherd’s prescription Royal Canin low fat food, so I wanted to save money and buy her the nonprescription lowfat food to save money. While I think the flavors of the 2 foods are the same, our Pittie didn’t like chewing the larger kibble. If I mixed water in the food, then she didn’t want to eat it either. I returned the food and now she is eating the prescription food.
Kristyaz (verified owner) –
We started this food as a recommendation from our vet to try and lean up our Great Dane. It has helped to drop a few of his pounds after his surgery and he loves it.
SRQ HEather (verified owner) –
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Vet recommended Royal Canin several years ago, and it is all I have been feeding my dogs ever since. Both of my dogs love the food.

My female GSD, who is 7 years old, absolutely loves Royal Canin GSD breed specific dog kibble. She has never been a big fan of dry dog food, but when it comes to Royal Canin, she is in love. She would eat an entire bag in one sitting if I let her, lol. I have never had to do portion control with her until now. Which I dont mind at all; because I know she likes it. I cant say enough good things about this product! Thank You Royal Canin!
Eddie Carino (verified owner) –
I am impressed with the quality and my pet loves it

Switched from Royal Canin for GSD’s to this one as my dog is now 6 years old……and he loves it…would Wolf it down, if I would let him….! His coat appears better looking, his poop is firm, he is very active, runs like a Banshee…..and is happy….in his endeavors. (And I am not compensated for this review). He is healthy, he is happy, and I am glad. His breeder started him off on Diamond dog food…and all of his dogs seem to do well on that……I went to my Vet, and was told to do my own investigation/research and check out various brands, quantities, etc. and to re-contact the Vet with questions, comments….! Did so, tried this food…..and it works for us….! It is available in locations close by, and Chewy also stocks it. Count us as very satisfied consumers. (My Rescue Border Collie even sneaks some of his food too…Ha Ha….) and she is a picky eater. My advice is to read/research…..and communicate with your Vets, and make an informed decision…..and if your dogs eat it, enjoy it,and have NO issues…..get it….or whatever brand YOU prefer, can afford. I love my pets…and want them to have wonderful lives…..!

Started with the puppy version. My old dog was super interested in this food as soon as I opened the bag. She has a very sensitive belly so I am wary of switching her foods. She is a pit bull mix with joint problems. I had her on some cheap food that was better for her belly but did nothing for her hair, skin or joints. There is a big different now with her skin and hair. The best part is that her bowel movements are normal. Her gas is minimal. Thank god! Those farts would literally wake me up from my dead sleep.

Way too expensive when you can get it at the warehouse for $60

Love the product. Great packaging. Just didn’t love the price.
Kelmo (verified owner) –
Great quality, price is constantly increasing is the only drawback. It would be nice when you offer the $10 in store cupon that Royal Canin is not excluded

My Labrador is 13 plus years old and has been on Royal Canin all of her life and has and is still doing very well.
