I orginally had my puppy on another high end diet and his flatulence was unbearable, revolting and almost constant. Since changing to Royal Canin Puppy Maxi, his flatulence is almost non-existant and no longer smells like something is dead in his digestive system, he enjoys meal time noticeably more (we’ve had to buy him a slow feed bowl because he eats this food like it’s his last meal) and his stool quality has become much firmer and his coat looks amazing. This has resulted in her being really picky about eating in general. She LOVES this food!! Gobbles it so fast we are now needing to slow her down. Her stools are firm and we’ve see no diarrhea since switching. Her coat is soft and glossy and her ears stand nice and straight so I know her nutritional needs are being met too!

He used to be on hydrolized protein for his food allergies, and it did wonders for him. He used to throw up his food constantly, loose stool at least 4-5 times a day, and always itching. My vet prescribed hydrolized protein for him and it helped tremendously. No more loose stool or throwing up, only pooped about 2 times a day, and he had way more energy! I now have a new puppy, hes been on royal canin large breed puppy food for about a month, already see a change in him, much less waste, hard to tell with his energy, because he already had alot lol but it does seem more intense lol. I love this brand such great food for your babies!

Having a bulldog puppy can be challenging since they are known for their sensitivities. This food has been great for our growing pup! It’s more satisfying than the bulldog puppy blend, as these are slightly larger pieces, but not quite as large as the adult bulldog blend (which we will most likely switch him to once he’s over the age of 1).

Have a 5 mo old German Shepherd puppy. For 2.5 months I had issues with her stools being loose and the vet recommended I switch her to a food that was easy to digest. I have a 11 month old Giant Schnauzer and he has been doing great on this food. He has nice fur and energy level. Not to mention he doesn’t poop a lot, easy to pick up and it’s not stinky! We started our puppy on Hill’s Science diet because it was recommended by our vet.
Our puppy had issues with the occasional runny stool, and was going 4-6 times a day! which turned into him not wanting to eat his food. We tried SO MANY different brands, styles, flavors, seasonings, treats, you name it to entice him to eat. The vet thought it was a parasite and gave him meds, the issue persisted. We switched to this bag of Royal canin after reading reviews, we are a week and a half in to the bag – he’s back to being excited for feeding times and all of his stools are normal again!
It’s pricier than other options, but still way cheaper than the next steps we were being recommended (blood testing for allergies, hypoallergenic food for the rest of his life, etc). I’m still giving it 5 stars for value because it’s absolutely worth the money!

My Giant Schnauzer puppy had developed a very sensitive digestive system and was very underweight after he had a small intestine intussuception when he was 6 months old. For 90 days after surgery, he ate prescription Royal Canin HP for the extreme digestibility and recovered rapidly (you can read our review of that product on this site as well). Once his digestion was fully normalized and his weight was back to normal, I carefully transitioned him to the Large Breed Puppy. I was worried he would have a hard time, because previously, the tiniest change caused loose stool.
