Transition Instructions:
We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

Once could not find and tried another RC suggested by pet store and within one week, knew it wasn’t right for Vixen. This is the only food my chihuahua will eat. I tried feeding him can food and soft morsels after he had his teeth pulled. He wouldn’t even try the food. Both of my dogs (Maltese and mix breed) were eating R.C. aging 12+ and they both had seizures. After taking them off the food for several days, the seizures ceased. Now my Maltese has an impaired kidney that is likely the result of the toxins in the dog food. code on bag was: PS12725C-expiration date: 12/22/2015. The food was the only common factor in both dogs diet. I now have to deal with my maltese’s kidney problems.
