Transition Instructions
Whenever there is a change to a pet’s food, it is important

If I could give zero stars, I would! I bought this food because they were out of my dog’s original food… BIG MISTAKE.
After eating it for three days, He was rushed to the hospital, where they gave him IV fluids for over 9 hours. He couldn’t keep even water down after this food hit his system. They checked his bloodwork and x-ray’d him, to rule everything else out and/or see if anything was wrong.. Nope. Just this terrible food caused it.

We tried this food for about a year. Several times, I found bits of plastic in the kibble. Sometimes just mixed in the bag and sometimes actual plastic inside the kibble. My lab had a constant stream of gas coming from his rear end until I switched foods. Also, this food is proprietary to petsupplycanada. If they are out of it, you aren’t going to find it anywhere else. This is a problem and what led us to try another brand. After switching to another brand, no more stinky lab, no more hungry coonhound and no more plastic bits in the food. It all sounds good on paper but it tore up my dogs stomach for a year. Shame on me for not ditching this stuff sooner.

I have a 7 year old cockapoo. She was very difficult to feed. When i purchased simply nourish she began to enjoy her food time. I think i have found the right product and i do suggest that you try it hopefully the producer will keep making this food. Great stuff says Pennie.

I have been buying this for quite some time now, labelled as Produced in Canada. Last bag was marked Lovingly Cooked in the USA, and the bag was very different. With the USA-Canada trade wars beginning, I will no longer be buying this version of Simply Nourish. I DO like to support my local store with local employees, but will not be supporting Made in the USA products. BTW, the *new* bag gave my dogs the runs. not a happy thing for them or me.

I added this kibble into my rotation and it’s working great. I have 4 dogs so it can be tricky to find a kibble they all like and do well on. This one is good for the picky eater, the one who gets upset stomachs, and the one who gets fat with the super ultra premium calorie packed foods. It’s also super easy to pick up their poop, it’s not too soft or rock hard, and it doesn’t smell as bad as it has with some other brands.

We have been feeding this brand to our 3 Rottweilers for about 4 months now. Sometimes the food gives them the poops and we don’t understand why. It isn’t always so maybe perhaps there is something off in the particular mixture? Also I have done an allergy test on one of the dogs and he is allergic to rosemary, which is the last ingredient in this food. Can you tell me why you add this and how much of rosemary each bag contains?

I can tell you the bag held up well on the trip home and again being transported into the house. petsupplycanada emailed asking for a review but that’s about all I can tell you so far. I purchased this food all the time my dog loves it. Just have to be careful when you open the bags because the last bag I bought must have been a bad batch. It was not outdated but didn’t seem like it had any type of coating and was full of a bunch of dust where it had crumbled. This has happened before and she didn’t seem to eat that bag like she did all the other ones. I was going to return it but I had already thrown out the bag before I realized there was all of the dust. I also wasn’t sure if they had changed the recipe somehow. This bag was fine though.
