Bought this for our new baby pack man frog until big enough to upgrade his home. Works great for what we needed.

For anyone who has small species or needs a temporary tank for babies or juveniles these are great tanks. I’ve got 31 reptiles and amphibians and half of them are micro and extremely small species that don’t require much space. I have 2 of them and the sliding screen tops are great. Also love the quality of the terrariums, they do not have tons of sloppy and excess silicone like a lot of other brands. Also don’t pay attention to the first review. All I do is use a razor blade on one corner of the sticker and then slowly peel it off. Never had an issue and comes off with no issues
PetWonder (verified owner) –
Can you use this with leopard geckos? Cause I want this for mine.
Bad sticker (verified owner) –
I bought this product and couldn’t believe why any company would leave a sticker on the actually glass that is IMPOSSIBLE to tear off without leaving sticky glue markers all over the container. This is a huge fail on manufacturing. Put it on the cardboard piece or make a sign on it that doesn’t ruin the product after a customer goes to the store and purchases it. Be mindful! Now I have to scrape off little pieces with my nail or a razor and spray chemicals like windex to get this off. Just ridiculous

Perfect for 1-2 toads/frogs! Easy to keep clean and add/remove items.

Got it for some lizards and it’s honestly i good little tank for the price and I used a 15% off coupon and got it for 28$. Also for everyone complaining about the sticker on the glass y’all must be slow cuz I took it off in one easy peel.

I set this up last week for my 2-inch turtle and it is exactly what we needed. This small size accommodates him and his food/water dishes well, but doesn’t take up a lot of space. I chose this one specifically because of the great price but also because it had the screen-top that slides in and clicks into place. I set a mini double lamp right on top of the screen with a UVA lamp and a heat lamp and everything is holding up and looks great. The glass is crystal clear, the base looks nice, the screen top feels sturdy, and the whole thing is well put together. Some reviews said the sticker left a bad residue on the glass, but that was not my experience. I did have to peel it off in several pieces as it did keep ripping, but ultimately it peeled off clean; no residue at all. I can’t even tell where the sticker was. I 100% recommend Thrive terrariums to anyone needing a terrarium. I am very happy.

I got this terrarium for my hissing cockroaches and it’s working really well! It has enough space for small invertebrates like hissing cockroaches and millipedes, but I wouldn’t keep any reptiles or amphibians in here. There is a latch on the top to secure the lid, and an elevated bottom for under tank heaters. There is enough space add hiding places and decor, and my cockroaches both have enough space to explore. It has been an amazing enclosure so far!

I bought this for my baby corn snake. The tank I had. The lid was not secure. I would not trust any animal in this tank that would try to escape. The lid is easily pulled up. So a corn snake could get out of the tank no problem. Unless mine was defective. I would not trust this tank to contain an animal

Just got it and theres a huge sticker smack on the front and its seriously stuck on there. Theres sticker residue that refuses to come off and it looks awful
Moosh (verified owner) –
I just don’t understand why you would slap a sticker on the front of this glass terrarium and not once think to make it easy peel. I’ve been scrubbing sticker residue of the front for an obscene amount of time. Just awful.

They use one of those cheap stickers on the fank and it’s a total pain in the a** to get off.

Bought this in store last month for our sub-adult, terrestrial tarantula (A. Seemanni). Followed Tom Moran’s terrestrial set-up instructions I found on YouTube for this species. Was able to layer, spray, and compress over 5 inches of reptile soil. Also, by inserting furrows in the 4 corners, have been able to easily dampen the lower levels of substrate in order to hydrate and prevent her burrow from collapsing. This tank is perfect for sub-adult/adult terrestrial tarantulas! She seems happy with her new home and it’s super easy to maintain! The only concern I have is with the lid closure. The top slides out and sort of snaps closed. We may have to use a small piece of Gorilla tape to secure it better as she gets older. Other than that we love this tank!!!

Rubbing alcohol and something sharp is your best friend for that matter

Perfect size for one hermit crab. I like the easy slide locking lid
otalalactea (verified owner) –
This tank would be way more functional without the sliding screen lid. First of all, the screen easily gets stuck. Secondly, I can’t get to my snails to feed or mist them because they often sleep on the lid and the lid slides out. If they’re sleeping on the lid, I have no choice but to wait. I wouldn’t have bought this if I knew the lid slid open. Don’t buy this for snails.

i bought this as a temporary home for my hermit crabs because the enclosure i bought them in was inhumanely small but i couldn’t afford a bigger tank until my paycheck. it is too small for 2 hermit crabs so i upgraded them to a 10 gallon a few days later. i will be keeping this one as a temporary tank for them. it’s a good little tank for the price the only issue is the little lock tab broke off within a couple days. i don’t know if bad quality or user error but it is still functional without the tab, it just won’t lock into place.

I bought this for a baby hognose. Babies feel safer in a smaller enclosure, so this will do for a bit. It serves the purpose well. Only two comments really: The front part of the lid where you pull is potentially escapable. Something with enough strength and reach would be able to push it open just enough to squeeze out. This tank is too big for anything like that generally, but be wary in the event you used it to put a bigger snake in while you clean out their main enclosure or something. Also, you need a really small heating pad and I ended up unplugging mine and I’m using a small uva+uvb heat lamp about 6″ above the screen top. It gets about 87-88 for much of the day time, which is good enough.

Love this tank, but hate how they have the hardest to peel sticker right on the front, took a good amount of scrubbing with from olive oil to remove all sticky residue. And I don’t really like the lid, it get stuck while closing every so often causing me to jostle the entire enclosure to fully close it. But others then these few things it’s a really nice tank!
