Directions for Use: Remove water container from tree stump piece. Twist off the lid and fill to the top with water. Place your fogger in your animal’s habitat and place cord through cord slots inthe terrarium lid. Plug in and press button to turn on.

I followed the instructions and set it up in my crested geckos terrarium. For its price compared to other foggers available on the market, it actually does a good job. Fog isnt too strong but its enough. I love the fact that its in the form of a tree trunk. It blends in really well with the rest of the terrarium

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] recieved for review on influenster. little but mighty tree stump fogger. this tree stump in realistic and stands bout 8in tall. used in an aquarium with a skink as they need constant humidity. he dont seem to mind it at all. would have put it in my tortoise been but it’s kind of light weight and the bigger would probly knock it over and chomp on the cord. has a decent sized water well and can run to close 15 hours on a bottle. do not use it empty as directions say NOT to do as u can burn it up.

We have a mister that seems to do the same thing so I probably wouldn’t have bought this on my own, so I’m glad Influenster and Pet Smart chose us to try it out.

It’s not as big and powerful as the other brands, however it’s the nicest looking fogger I’ve ever used/ seen for that matter. It’s on the smaller size, so it doesn’t produce necessarily the strongest stream of fog, but it works well for a smaller enclosed setup to help with humidity.

I cant really imagine this being used for any enclosure bigger than a small lizard or frog…..I put it in my big iguana enclosure and it looks cool but it’s not going to meet humidity needs. So I guess it’s just cool decor maybe I’ll add a couple more over time. The mist it puts out is very light and smokey looking but it’s cute. Definitely insufficient for humidity so that’s kind of a bummer. Also the cord was slightly cut when I got it so I had to fix that before use.

Ive had it for a little less than a week. Worked great for the first 4 hours and got the humidity up quickly in my 20-gallon tank. The control/button blinks constantly and heats up really fast to the point I think it might catch something on fire and it barely spits anything out from the machine once it starts. Runs for maybe 30 seconds now before it gives up. Definitely wasn’t worth the money which is sad because you can’t find a decent in-tank humidifier that doesn’t take up a lot of room.

area moist since it dries out very quickly from the heat lamp. The fogger runs 10 to 15 hours. It will shut off after 6 hours of continuous use. It does cost a little more than other foggers but works really well.

I bought this a while ago and it only worked for about 2 months. I would put water in the water compartment and turn it on, and then it would start up. One day, I put water in, started it up, and it just wouldn’t work. I cleaned it multiple times and unplugged and plugged it in again and it still didn’t work. The light on the switch was on so I know it wasn’t a problem with the switch or the cord.

it was a bit tricky yot start up. The directions fail to mention that you need to “jumpstsrt” it by pouring a bit of water in the top. Otherwise it is working as intended and keeps my tree frogs happy.

And I was so excited to get this as the idea of something that keeps the humidity up is so nice because it is really difficult to keep up with his humidity levels. However, there were some flaws in this. It is a hassle to get it into the terrarium itself because of the plug as it is very thick and most holes in the terrarium i have are small. The wire is also a bit dangerous because my chameleon has a tendency to climb jt. It is also a bit difficult to refill the bottle as well. So while this is a nice thing to have for the humidity, I also think there are better products out there. This brand even has some products that are better and more practical.

I bought this for my chameleon enclosure. One would think that it would be used for something more than decoration. But it isn’t. It barely emits vapor. It’s just a waste of money as far as I’m concerned.

I bought this as part of a setup for air plants and hopefully dart frogs someday. Set it up per instructions an nothing happened. Pulled it out and started working for about 30 seconds an quit. I’ve messed with it many times over the last couple days and unless I squeeze the bottle it doesn’t keep going. For the price I paid this thing should have worked. Now I’m out $50 and still need to find a humidity solution. Save yourself time, money an sanity by NOT buying this.

Works great standing up in the tree cover but only if the bottle remains full, if it goes below a certain level it won’t work anymore. We had to tip it on its side without the tree cover to allow full continuation of misting for our tank. It’s an okay product but I wouldn’t have paid what I did for it if I knew it didn’t work the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the overall look of this fogger is fantastic. the fogger itself fits snuggly against the tree shell, so I don’t have to worry about my gecko getting into the tree. works great, creates a very fine mist and is quiet. my only complaint is that you have to figure out how to run the cord of of the tank, it doesn’t detach so you can feed it through a small hole and the wire is too thick so that you can’t feed it through the edges of the tank either. We ended up altering the plastic on the screen to feed it through, so it’s still an awesome product, just a minor design thing to keep in mind

This was a great idea to have a decorative fogger and it did a decent job keeping the humidity up. However after a few months, the wiring near the base of the water container became exposed. Not sure if water leaked or if it fried and melted some of the protective coating. This made it stop working and dangerous to keep in my gecko’s habitat.

I bought this in hopes of bringing up the humidity in my gecho tank. It brings it up, but most of it escapes through the screen in the top. The button you push to turn it on also gets really hot. I am not a fan and really not happy!

Newbie Ball Python here .. so I’m literally starting from scratch here. My girl is young so starting in a juvenile tank, stump fits perfectly and helps add to the clutter. Humidity went up 11% in a matter of minutes. My only complaint so far is there really needs to be an intermittent setting. Not all setups do well with continuous flow. For the price I shouldn’t need to spend another $50 for a timer. But overall I’m ok with it as a temporary measure, it shouldn’t be any more a hassle to physically turn it off/on as it was to spray her tank down. I definitely will be getting a better setup when she gets her adult tank.

I bought this and returned this item. The item worked well and looked nice. The problem is the on/off controller. The controller will not allow the use of this product on an automatic timer or humidity controller. You have to press the button every time you want to use the product. Had to get a different fogger that would work with a timer.

I bought this and its junk waste of money it on produces fog for few minutes they don’t tell you that you have to fill it with hot water to work even after that it only made fog for like 2 minutes. Wish I never bought it not a lot of info in the instructions it does say not to let it go dry no chance of that cause its had same amount of water in it for a week at best the crickets like sitting on it

For what I needed, it worked to keep my hermit crabs tank humidity maintained, but it has stopped working altogether and I bought it less than six months ago, so I’m pretty disappointed. I would say it’s not worth the $50 since I have to replace it in such a short amount of time. Also, as others said, the design itself is flawed and it’s a pain in the butt to constantly take the entire stump out just to fill the bottle with water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was super excited about this fogger, we have an anole (american chameleon) that needs moisture. we have been using a spray bottle , spraying plants etc a few times a day. unfortunately as awesome as this looks and in theory it’s awesome but it’s more of a pain bc you have to remove the entire thing to fill up every other day. Zuko (our anole) is still young and skiddish so it’s not a good time for anyone. it would be cool if it had timer options and a way to fill without removing the entire thing

However, I use the mist and it couldn’t be a better environment for the little creature and the moss! It becomes so moist like in a rainforest! I love how you can keep it on as long as you want. All you have to do is plug it in and it will keep going! I highly strongly recommend this product! Especially if you have a huge tank it will be so beautiful to have the log in.

My wife received this item in exchange for a review. Ours had a small broken piece out of the box ( can be glued back so its not a big deal but still.) set it up in my crested geckos tank and followed the instructions. The fogger function did a good job and the fact that its hidden as a tree trunk makes it easier to blend in with the terrarium. My crested was crazy interested in what the new object in his tank was. Couldnt stop staring at it. Compared to other foggers on the market, I think this is one of the nicer ones. Specially at its price point.
