Although our bearded dragon quite enjoyed this – I had to throw it out. There are sizeable whole that the crickets climb into and use as a habitat. They grew hug in size and Chirped day and night. Give its Hollow design it does a poor job of being a climb for any reptile other than something tiny. It’s cheap and too light and way overpriced for what it is.

If any animal larger than a microgecko climbs on to the branch, the whole thing falls over, making it pretty useless at best. I got it for a gift and will be returning it in favour of something that is actually SAFE for my reptiles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very wobbly and unstable. My python loves climbing but this just doesn’t work for her. I’ve tipped it on its side but it takes up a lot of room.
We got her from someone so I didn’t have a choice for this and I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s better to get small things that are stable and fit just right. You can rearrange things and keep it nice without a big log that doesn’t really work. Good for fish aquariums though.

I got this for my boa, as he likes to climb. Unfortunately, it’s not weighted properly and kept falling over whenever he’d stretch out on it. It is hollow (most resin items like this are), so I filled it with plaster and it fixed the problem, but I shouldn’t have had to.

my ball python loves climbing this. Only 3 stars because it’s so light and he tips it over easily. The base needs to be heavier. It would be good for a smaller reptile or in a fish tank.

I thought I had finally found a nice size branch for my adult ball python. BUT it is not heavy enough at the base and she is constantly knocking it over making it very unsafe for her to use. Will have to return which is unfortunate because we both liked it.

I bought it about a month ago and my bearded dragon loves it. I have a 55 gal tank and it was too big sit up right so I laid it in it’s side. It doesn’t change that my Dragon loves it. He lays on it during the day and sleeps under it at night.

My bearded dragon loves this. It is the perfect size for him to lounge on. The only thing I would caution is that if you get it delivered, it may arrive cracked. Ours did and I had to call for a replacement. Thankfully the customer service rep was awesome and made sure the new one was packed better. She also had the replacement shipped quickly.

I have 2 of these, one that I’ve had since maybe 2013 and one I’ve had for a year and both look exactly the same, maybe a little paint fading from being in an aquatic setup. I’ve used mine with several animals, currently I have one in my red eared sliders enclosure and with my corn snake. I’ve also used it with my bearded dragon and fire belly toads. It’s been perfect in every enclosure I’ve done, held up the weight of my adult beardie and adds a realistic look to any enclosure!! Find a plastic vine to wrap around and it makes it look even better!

My bearded dragon loves this. Usually he takes a couple of weeks to climb on and check out new things in his enclosure. This one only took less than 24 hours for him to start perching on it. I wish they had even bigger ones as his enclosure is huge.

I love this for my ball python and once I added it to the enclosure, she crawled all over it. The only reason for a 4 star is because it’s not that sturdy. I had to really bury it in the substrate to make sure it doesn’t tip over.
