I bought a mouse a couple days ago and bought this comfy house habitat. I built it and my mouse was confused and super mad at me. i sat for 3 hours and realize this model has a design flaw. i fixed it and there is so much space my mouse it the happiest ever!

Will never be sitting foot in your stores again after this purchase. You should be educating your staff and making better products. Inam so happy I decided to do more research before forcing my hamster to live in this tiny space that is way too small for him. People will trust everything you sell as a pet store and you need to do better.

This cage is fun for my dwarf hamster, he loves it! Doesn’t bit the sides, and has plenty of borrow places! I bought extra tubes to wrap around the house and to either end of the cage. My Dwarf Hamster absolutely loves this cage. He doesn’t seem to like the colored wood products that Tiny Tales sales tho.

I would not recommend the Comfy House for one reason, it is so difficult to clean. Our hamster has made the top level its home and so of course all it’s feces it gathering on the top level. There is no easy way to detach the top part and let the bedding and feces easily fall into a garbage bag. It’s really annoying. I clean it every week and wished I never got this. I bought the rocket ship as an extension, and that is by far so much better and easier to clean.

I found this cage at a second hand shop, Brand new in the box for $5.00, and even at that price I am shocked at the poor quality of this cage, but I’m still using it.

These cages are targeted to children and their parents who dont know any better. I was that person who didn’t know until a year ago. My sons hamster was in one of these little cages and he started biting and he was stressed all the time. Well I found out that hamster need more floor space and not levels. More floor space equals a happy hamster. So I switched to a $10 storage bin with 6 inches of bedding so he can burrow and my hamster is happy again! He doesnt bite nor scream. I’m so glad I learned.

I got one in 2019 and my hamster loves it. Never had an issue out of him liking his home. Plenty of toys I added, and I got a different wheel. He doesn’t chew on the bars or act stressed out ever.

This hamster home is really neat in that it is probably interesting for hamsters with the tube and “upstairs” area. It isn’t too difficult to assemble but it is some work for a beginner. It is sturdy and the wheel and water bottle are of very good quality.

This is a nice, perfect size cage for your pet gerbil but I’m going to tell you right now why it’s no good for a gerbil, don’t know who it would be for other small pets. We got our 5 year old his gerbil for his birthday the beginning of December and Digger has escaped 2x in the past week. He’s crewing his way out! And it’s not because he doesn’t have anything to chew on, we always make sure he has a chew, wether it be one he bought or a toilet paper roll. That’s my review, hope it helps. Don’t waste your money on this cage, look for quality not style.

I loved this when I first bought it several months ago but recently the cage bars stated to peel off paint and then when getting my hand in and out to clean scratched up the arm and if it is this sharp to people what could it do to a hamster. Then the top door would not stay properly closed even after we believed he secured it. The hamster escaped and is no more. They should create a little latch or something for the top door.

I really like the style of this cage, i understand people complaint how small this cages are but the whole purpose of this cages is to buy a few and connect them to make it larger. Besides the fact that you need to spend money to expanded I like the concept.

This cage is just too small. Hamsters need a lot of room. Plus there is no space for deep bedding. They like to burro. At least 6 inches, preferably 10 inches. The wheel on this cage is also way too small. They need a 10 inch or higher. Bar chewing, is another thing they do in a wire cage. They do this out of boredom, and if they are stressed.

Just this morning we found out our hamster escaped from the rooftop door. Some how she managed to open the door and escape! My daughter is crying since she found out! And I don’t have any ideas where and how to find her!
I think this cage is not safe for hamsters. Maybe it’s okay for first few month when they’re smaller but as soon as they’re bigger the cage is too small and they can open the roof door.
Since I cleaned the cage for the first time I knew that it’s not easy to clean and it’s not a practical cage but now a free hamster in my house is a horrible thing!

This is a terrible terrible cage for hamsters and any other animal, it’s like living in a bathroom for a human. It’s very hard to clean, hard to put together, does not provide half enough space for neither gerbils, mice, hamsters or other animals. The wheel is noisy and tiny, the water bottle is poorly made, and makes hamsters seem like little toys for children. Please do your reasearch before

imagine living in a room the size of a bathroom for your entire life. it doesn’t take more than 10 minutes of research to see that this cage is cruel to keep a hamster in. they need plenty of space- this cage is WAY TOO SMALL. They need open space to run and exercise. the wheel is way too small for anything but a dwarf hamster. DO NOT BUY TINY TALES OR KRITTER TRAIL CAGES.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Our new Teddy Bear Hamster loves it. She basically uses the upstairs as her bedroom-its super cute. It was kind of tedious to put together but once its together, the awe effect is awesome. My son LOVES it too and it looks super cute in his room. We are already planning to get an add on-I definitely feel these are made to add on to the other types of cages and that’s why they are a smaller cage than some. Yeah, it may be a marketing thing to get people to buy more Tiny Tales stuff but man its really adorbs! Our Hammy Mrs. Wonder loves it!

Although this hamster house is really cute, it is very cheap. The pieces do not all fit together and I had to tape the tube tunnel together. It is also hard to clean. My hamster keeps stuffing the tube with fluff.

I bought this cage for my Russian hamster and I’ve seen a lot of reviews criticizing the cage for being too small, or not enough bedding space for them to burrow. I think a lot of people buying this cage lack the common sense to put extra bedding in certain open areas such as the top of the house cage, allowing for them to burrow, or even just giving them a hideout in the middle of the cage with extra bedding. In my opinion it the best cage that all living things sell, not the best you could but it’s sold for a child’s appeal and as of now there are many extensions one could connect to make it even better. As it stands there is a lot of room for hamsters to move around only because it has two levels and that’s why it isn’t the worst one ever.

We bought this as we were purchasing a dwarf hamster. Our kids really wanted this one as it was colorful and lots of things to do. The cage is a cheap plastic and a piece cracked just putting it together. The clamps that secure it feel like every time you open and close them to clean the cage will crack it.

My daughter loves this cage and her gerbil is enjoying it as well. He sleeps upstairs and eats/poops/exercises downstairs. He has a play pen and ball as well so this helps with keeping him active and happy. We bought the comfy house 3 months and our only complaint is the plastic tubing connectors. He’s chewed through a few. We just ordered a new water bottle with a metal lid because he chewed through that as well. Overall, we should have done more research and will probably replace it in the near future.

So I have three gerbils and in my opinion this product is absolutely trash whoever came up with the idea to make plastic tunnels and accessories for any kind of rodent is dumb. You literally have to keep buying replacements of everything because all they do is keep chewing through it and getting out. It would be nice to have something that is reliable and me not have to worry about them getting out and possibly getting hurt or go missing in my house. So whoever made this product I would definitely rethink about it being plastic and come up with something better and safe. I literally had to buy a reptile tank to put them in so I wouldn’t have to worry and now I just feel like they probably aren’t as happy because they have no tunnels or cool accessories to go into. So once again whoever made this thank you so much for making it so unsafe and making people keep wasting their money on having to keep buying replacements. Yea you definitely did a good job on this one huh. TRASH PRODUCT!!!!

TRASH! After taping the tube’s (which you shouldn’t have to do) 2 separate hamsters both managed to get out the cages (at separate times). One was mauled by our dog and our young child had to pull her bloody, twitching hamsters out of it’s mouth. Forever traumatized she will be. This product is absolutely trash and they should be ashamed for still selling thing after ALL the negative reviews. I wish I would have read the reviews before buying 2 of these “cages”

This (and every other Tiny Tales cage) is tiny and our hamster was miserable. After six months in this and another Tiny Tales cage, our hamster died of stress and exhaustion. She ran away countless times and not just because of the weak protection. I had to put a pillow over my head due to constant bar chewing at night. This is a marketing ploy to entice kids. Even if your kids really want to, DO NOT BUY THIS CAGE. You can make a bin cage for at least 2/3 of the price. Your hamster will thank you and your grief will be contained.

I bought this for my Robo hamster around 2 or 3 weeks ago. My hamster likes going up the tubes and sliding down. At first he couldn’t go up the tube until he learned himself. The quality is also pretty good for the cage, although a little difficult to connect the wires but eventually we were able to click it on. My only concern is that the wheel is a little loud. Other than that it is a good option for your hamster or mouse.

We bought our daughter two gerbils and this particular cage for them to live in. They have plenty of space and the cage is too cute. I don’t mind the process of taking it apart and cleaning it. It’s sturdy enough and they seem happy. There are plenty of places for them to hide which can make retrieving them tricky, but we’re learning. One MAJOR FLAW: within a short 3 weeks time they are chewing on the plastic connector rings for the tubing units. We have lots of things for them to chew in the cage…wooden chew blocks, lava stone, a salt lick, alfalfa braids and toilet paper tubes. Even still, they’re preferring the plastic connector rings. The one at the top that I found this morning was a bad enough chew that I’m concerned about them being close to finishing the job and escaping. I had to buy additional tubing units just to get my hands on replacement connector rings. This will continue to happen so at night I’m placing the cage in a big plastic bin. So disappointing! Shopping around for a more suitable cage. All cages for gerbils and hamsters should be chew proof at the very least. Also a concern is whether or not they’re investing the plastic pieces they’ve chewed off? Certainly wouldn’t be good for them. I can NOT recommend this cage, look elsewhere!!!

I got this and the castle one for my gerbils, and it certainly is a tiny tale. It is way too small for the gerbils and they chewed through it and almost escaped! The wheel is also to small. It was almost impossible to clean. I got them a 20 gallon tank to keep them in and they are much happier. Wouldn’t recommend this cage to anyone.

This looks more like a doll house or something. Definitely not a hamster cage. Hamsters aren’t toys. They need the proper care. The Bare Minimum(U.S) is 450 sq inch. However a hamsters cage should be bigger than this. Go for the biggest cage that you can afford and fit. Don’t waste your money on these cages.

This is way too small for anything other than a pet rock. A bin that provides the bare minimum of 450 square inches of floor space costs 20$. It’s 2020, there is absolutely no reason to force a sentient being to live in something so cruelly small.

Please do not buy this cage! Hamsters need a bare minimum of 450 sq inches of FLOOR SPACE! this is probably on 200. Hamster are very active creature and love to run. this is not big enough for them to do that. Even if you put 2 cages together it is still NOT big enough. you need at least 6 inches of bedding, which this cage cannot hold. the tunnels and cage provided in this cage can cause serious injures or death to your hamster. this is not suitable for any hamster breed, period.

I agree with the other reviews about the cage being small. Anyone one with common sense would know not to buy if your going to use this as the hamsters primary living space. I purchase this to add to the other habitats. If you have enough space to add about 4-5 of these then its more than enough space for 1 hamster. My grandson loves watching his hamster Hammy move through all the different habitats .

I got this hamster for free with the cage from a neighbour and I discovered he is a Syrian hamster and this thing is way too small for him he’s biting on the bars out of boredom so I have to give him treat bars every day to keep him busy. Definitely getting a much bigger one. I was recommended to get a 36x18x18 for a Syrian hamster and they love to burrow not climb so try to get a one leveled cage for your hamster and add stuff to it.

Please don’t buy this cage or any other ‘tiny tales’ product. Your hamster won’t be happy. I know it seems like a good deal since it comes with a wheel a food dish, a water station and even a second floor. But it’s only a good deal for you! Not for your hamster. The appropriate cage size is 450 square inches of unbroken floor space and this cage is only 241.3 square inches. So it’s not even half of the proper cage size.
So please, don’t get this for your hamster, gerbil or mouse

I bought this cage on the recommendation of the sales associate. When we had huge problems with it and went back she told me all of her complaints with it and that she recommended different parts. The wire parts are able to be dislodged from the sides by our hamster. The top is so hard to get off for cleaning that the clips broke. Lots of extension tube holes, but the caps pop into place and the hamster can remove them. The water bottle leaks – and the associate told me to get a new one that it’s a terrible water bottle. The wheel is SO noisy – and the associate told me to get a silent one. For a recommended product she sure had a lot of changes to be made.

DO NOT BUY! PLZ! So, I got my hamster a cage and it was the first night I got it and when I woke up it was squealing and I got up to check on it and it’s HEAD was STUCK between the bars of the cage!!! I had to shimmy it’s body through the bars. And thankfully I was able to remove her. Once I checked up after the incident I notice her foot was bleeding. Is this a company that values profits over the safety and health of our hamsters?

This is a not a house for any animal, especially not a hamster. Hamsters need at least 400 sq inches of floor space and need at least 6 inches of bedding. This fits none of the standards. One of my friends used to own one of these and the hamster named Jackson was anything but happy. For a matter of fact he was depressed. I do not recommend this cage for anyone or any creature.

I bought this about a month ago for a new Chinese Dwarf Hamster. Pros: He seems pleased enough with it and it was easy to put together. The pieces need to be where they are supposed to be exactly in order for everything to click together, but once they are correct they lock in easily. The upper level is where we put the shavings for sleep and it is deep enough to do so. The hamster enjoys the wheel and runs like crazy ALL. NIGHT. LONG.

Bought this cage after returning a different one that was just awful. Unlike the other cage, this one has a quiet wheel, a clear water bottle (so you can easily see the water line) that doesn’t leak, and our hamster loves the different levels and tubes. We didn’t assemble the tubes like in the picture, though. No need to have them go down so low into the pan area since that is filled with bedding. The cage is super easy to clean by simply flipping the 2 latches to access the pan. Overall, the cage is really cute, was easy to assemble, and our hamster really likes it. It’s nice that we can add on another segment of the “town” later if we want.

This cage is awful! I absolutely dread every time I have to clean it. It is made with cheap materials and poor quality construction. The wire cage part that attaches to the base is 4 separate pieces instead of one and practically needs two people to put together as you need someone to hold the sides upright while inserting the wire pieces. None of the parts line up well. The tubing attaches with cheap plastic rings that my hamster chewed up within a couple of days and is now being held on with packing tape. The only good things about this cage is that it is cute and it has a larger second level than my previous cage which my hamster seems to like. Don’t waste your money!

Although assembling the habitat took more than expected, worth doing in order to keep a dwarf hamster happy. The included water bottle was malfunctioning/defective (kept dripping). Luckly, the store where the habitat was purchased did exchange for a new bottle without further issue–the new bottle seems working better (except the metal tube is slightly larger than the opening/space).

SIKE this cage can cause. 1. stress. 2. bar biting leading to gapped teeth. 3. death. “omg this can’t cause death” well Conner it can because for a Syrian which tiny tails in recommending it to can go through the tubes get stuck, suffocate and die. So in conclusion don’t get this for your hammy.

I see all the negative reviews on the size, be aware that these cages are all part of a connecting set of habitats. They are not going to work for a syrian tho. I have 3, my dwarf russian is 2 1/2 years old now. She is happy as can be with more than enough room to roam. They sell all kinds of accessories for additional space add ons as well. To each their own, for my ancient dwarf hammy, she has been just fine since day 1. If you allow your hamster to roam outside of the habitat on a regular basis, that also appeases their need for activity. However, i can tell you that the many hamsters i have had have been just fine in similar cages and have lived long healthy lives. These cages are highly durable and have taken 3 years of chewing and have yet to have anything wrecked at all.

It can break their backs. The water bottle- how are they supposed to drink from that?!? The base does not allow you to put 6 inches of bedding, witch hamsters need to be happy. We bought this cage for our daughters for Christmas so they could get a pair of gerbils. It’s been barely over a month and they have already chewed up the cheap plastic plugs that cover the openings. We had all kinds of fun chasing a gerbil around the house when it got out. We have tunnels in 2 of the 3 openings, but the other one has a plug that just sits in the opening and is easily chewed up. The cage came with 4 plugs, but we’re down to 1 left already. I’m using duct tape trying to keep them from getting out. We got more tunnels to expand the cage, but I still can’t connect all the openings so I need at least one plug and it won’t be long until the last one is gone. And they’re also chewing up the soft plastic rings that attach the tunnels together. I have looked and looked and you can’t buy the plugs anywhere and you can’t buy the connecting rings separately. You can only buy more tunnel pieces, which come with rings, but if you don’t have the rings to connect them, they’re useless. It’s way too soft plastic and this cage will officially be useless probably within another week. They say this is for small animals like hamsters and gerbils, but make it easy for any of these little chewing animals to literally eat the cage. Save yourself the trouble and get a cage that can’t be chewed up. They have wire cages that go on top of a 10 gallon aquarium and that’s what we’re planning to get. That will likely help with the constant problem of them throwing litter out of the cage also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cage isn’t big enough for the hamster’s needs! Hamsters need a wheel (that is big enough for their breed size so they don’t have to bend their back) sand bath, hideouts, chew toys, thick bedding (for burrowing), and obviously food and water. This cage isn’t big enough to supply all of these needs. It is sad because hamsters are seen as easy children’s pets but they really aren’t. They are much more complex and need a lot of space. This is also targeted towards kids to the point that it’s not even funny. It’s sad. It’s sad that petsupplycanada doesn’t understand that this is a cruel thing to sell for hamsters.

Though it does seem to be fine for your hamster to live in, the plastic rings that connect all the tubing seems to be very tasty. Our hamster likes to chew the rings right at the point where the tubes connect to the side walls. Once they’re chewed enough, they just fall off and you have a hamster on the run. They’re annoying to clean and upkeep. Don’t bother. Get a glass cage and add all the gear that they’ll need.

These cages are horrible, they aren’t fit for a hamster (or any animal). Please, do research before getting a hamster (or an animal of any sort), they’re not toys! (A few good YouTube channels to watch for tips on hamster care (or rodent care in general) are: Munchie’s Place, Emiology, and Victoria Raechel)

      1. It’s way too small, especially for Syrian Hamsters. All hamsters need at least 450 square inches of unbroken floor space. (I’m no expert, but I know they need way more open space than this cage has.) Putting a hamster in a cage this size is the human equivalent to trapping somebody in a closet lol
      2. The wheel is way too small, and can cause back injuries in hamsters.
      3. Hamsters can chew through the plastic, and escape easily.
      4. It’s a pain to clean as well. A way better option for a hamster cage is a ‘bin cage’, which is an easier and cheaper option. A bin cage is easier to keep clean, has a lot more room for the hamster, and is easily customizable! You can easily buy a 110 qt clear bin, or a properly sized glass tank instead of this. [If you want a tutorial on how to make a bin cage, search ‘DIY Hamster Bin Cage’ 🙂 It’s not complicated to make, I promise, lol]
      5. It’s not deep enough to add the minimum amount of bedding. Hamsters need a lot of bedding in order to burrow (at least 5+ inches deep).
      6. I had this cage with my first hamster, and he was incredibly stressed living in it; he was constantly biting and trying to climb the bars, and chewing the plastic in the tubes. The wheel is rattly and loud, and the water bottle constantly leaked as well. (I ended up upgraded my hamster’s enclosure, don’t make the same mistake I did and buy this)

I wouldn’t recommend any of the other Tiny Tales’ cages either, none of them are fit for a hamster.
Please don’t buy cages like these for your hamster. If your hamster is already living in one of these, please upgrade your hamster’s enclosure, there are way better options out there.

I have three gerbils and attached this cage to another. I wouldn’t recommend getting this cage without attaching it to another. IF YOU HAVE A GERBIL, DO NOT BUY. Gerbils chew through everything. They will chew right through the tubing mechanism and the tube will pop completely off, and they will escape. The platform is thin plastic and got destroyed by gerbil teeth. I recommend getting a tank for your gerbils because there’s no plastic they’d eat up and it causes less stress for you and them. The only positive thing I can say about this cage is that the loft serves a great space for your pet to burrow in, but the doors on it (also plastic) break easy. Get a tank.

Let’s get past the fact that the cage is to small, get past the fact that the wheel will cause back problems, the fact that this cage doesn’t allow hamsters to burrow like their DNS tells them too. If are ok with that because you don’t care if the hamster is happy this brand is still horrible because it’s a huge money suck. Gets a 40 gallon fish tank on sale or on your market place, it’s more sold, will last longer, and your hamster won’t escape from chewing thru the plastic tubes. Im ashamed one of these ever entered my home.

Please!Do not buy this for a hamster! There is NO space for a hamster to move, especially syrian hamsters. You don’t make a dog live in a laundry basket!WHY are people buying such small cages for creatures that can travel 10 miles per day?!The bare minimum is 450 sq in of floorspace!

This is way too small for hamster, no animal should be housed in that cage. It’s horrible. Please do not buy.

This was recommended by a petsupplycanada associate when they helped us with a new teddy bear hamster. It is way too small and should not have been recommended. It is not acceptable at all for a large hamster. The hamster is super unhappy and chews the paint off of the bars which is sad bc shes a cute sweet hamster and my kid loves her. Huge mistake buying this and now I am searching for a new one that I will buy somewhere else for a lot more $$$

A nice cage good for a mouse or dwarf hamster. Not good for a Teddy bear or large hamster. We take out or dwarf Chinese hamster out and let him run around so he is not always stuck in the cage. We bought xtra tubes to hook up inside and outside trails.

My robo hamster loves his tiny tales house. His favorite parts are the wheel and the tunnels. He also love to hide under his food bowl platform. I highly recommend.

We are very happy with this cage for our gerbil. The kids love watching the gerbils run around through the tubes and on the wheel. It is very small, so we will need to get a second one to connect them.

      One: WAY too small!
Two: Can easily stress a hamster out, my hamster died from stress in THIS cage after having him for a week!

I got this for 2-little sister mice and they seem to love it.
The wheel that comes with it is clearly the favorite item in the set.
I put bedding downstairs along with their regular food and water bottle.
Upstairs I give them treats, like banana, or bits of apple and that gives them a chance to exercise as they climb the tube from top to bottom.

Brought this for my hamster. She chewed through the red plastic on the tubing and got lost. She ended up falling down the stairs and didn’t make the fall. Do not recommend if you care about your pets safety.

I bought this a little unsure since all the reveiws were pretty bad but I set it up and I love it. So does my hamster. It is worth the price. My hamster was exploring it and quickly brought all her food from across my cage setup and into the top of the cage. There is also no way for her to escape.

Bought for my daughter for a Christmas gift and the hamster had chewed through the plastic o-rings twice now and this time he managed to get out of the cage. The design of the cage sucks not big enough for a hideout house. Need a new design.

Yes, this hamster could be too small it depends on how ur hamster feels about it. Our long-haired Syrian has loved this cage. Always going up and down the tubes and running on the wheel. Has not bitten the bars to the cage or tried to escape. Plays with his toys and eats. I’m generally happy with it however, We have a small baby who is expected to grow and will need more space when he does and we will probably add another one of these cages but we have not seen any signs of depression In our little Gary since he moved in so far. He comes out to visit with us and hang out and when he goes back in he seems comfortable. As a tip take out the bottom shelf to give them more room to play.

This is an awful product that should never be purchased by any pet owner. If you are looking for a cheaper option please look into a tote bin. They are super cheap and offer much more space for your little friend. If you are too stubborn to do your research and learn about your animal. you should not have one. Simple as that.

This cage was way too small. In the wild hamsters can many miles in the wild working on their burrowing or getting food. This reasons why hamsters should have a wheel to run in to burn off their energy. I recommend the silent spinner or the rodent/mice wheel. After getting a wheel there is no excuse for having a small cage. Hamsters are still very close to their ancestors! A large cage allows a hamster to be happy and thriving. The minimum of how big a cage can be is 450 square inches. The ones in the pet store are not going to do, for there’s in only 144 square inches. Also avoid the Tiny Tales/critter trails collections because those are way to tiny. Small cages often cause stress to hamsters and individuals will be seeing your pet chewing on cage bars or pacing. As everybody knows stress is not good and can cause bunch of health problems! Please change your cages to the proper size!

So, we had bought this for our Syrian hamster and after reading all of these reviews about it being too small we immediately went out and got a HUGE container and cut wire to attach..all of the recommended things, like a bigger wheel, sand bath, better hideouts. We put this cage into the container and guess what? The hamster prefers to stay in the top loft part of the cage and prefers the cage’s plastic hideout. I’m not sure about all of these bad reviews bc our hamster prefers the “too small” cage to the rest of it’s big habitat. It also used both wheels until we took out the one that it apparently shouldn’t have.

I bought this cage for my Syrian short haired hamster and I hate it. The door is way too small for me too put my hand in. It’s way too hard to clean and the tubes are a little tight for my hamster. Do not buy this cage for your hamster.

I am so disappointed that a pet store would create and market this brand to young children. It is in no way large enough or designed properly for humane hamster environments. Write to petsupplycanada and ask them to stop selling these or make them MUCH larger! My daughter researched hamsters and how to care for them, she is very upset that so many kids are being marketed with this bad product.

This is not okay!! You are a pet store and you should be selling proper and suitable hamster cages. The wheel in the cage would bend a hamsters back which is a big deal. The water bottle would bend the hamsters neck. And even if you “collect and connect” them all it still won’t be enough space for any hamster. Hamsters require 450 square inches of floor space and 6 inches of bedding. There is no room for a hamster to move around or even burrow in. Hamsters who live in these cages will live a very sad, lonely, and depressed life. Please remove all unsuitable hamster cages from your store and add in more suitable ones for hamsters and all of your other animals.

Minimum square footage for a DWARF hamster is 450 sq feet! Please do not buy this. But, if you do, use it as a “cottage-like” getaway for your hamsters to escape to when they’re not in the 450 sq feet + home.

I returned this product after having it for 1 week. It was definitely not what I had expected. It was way too small. Not to mention if you want to add anything to it it’s extremely expensive. We went a more traditional route instead and got a 40 gallon aquarium.

Too small for any small animal. Poor quality as it will easily be chewed through. Do not buy waste of money and cruel to the animal. Strongly recommend glass aquarium, 40 gallon minimum, for hamsters, gerbils, and mice.

One cage is NOT big enough, but that’s sort of the purpose of these cages. I have all 10, and the 3 add ons, it was expensive to get them all but my dwarf hamster has the biggest set up and a huge activity centre. If you lock the the tubes in properly, they can’t get to the locks, but if you don’t, they can bite/chew them up. (FYI: put a tube inside as well as outside and it locks to the hole opening) They are fun, and make a great talking piece. I even turned the “Playground” into a living (moss and such) “backyard”, super simple to give small critters an excellent interactive environment, you just gotta do it right…

MY HAMSTER IS LOST BECAUSE OF THIS CAGE !!!! Keep reading!!!!
When I got this cage it was such a struggle to put together for the top part of the cage (yellow part) and it got to where I got cut on my hand and my finger got smudges that’s how hard it was to put together and then when you have to clean it out it’s annoying because you have to clean the top part with your hands which still makes a mess and then take it apart and do the bottom half!!! I decided to just not put the top half anymore and kept his wheel in for 1 the wheel was pretty small for him 2:The thing for his water is so low he has to hunch down to drink which I bet his pretty uncomfortable for him.3:He was always chewing on the cage he didn’t even like it smh and 4:The lids to the side of the cage are NOT it he popped the lid out and now I CANNOT find him!!! Do not get this cage it’s a waste of money !!!

No animal should be in this type of cage. This cage is 1. poor quality, 2. too small and 3. just bad. Depending on the small animal you have the cage you are going to need and the things that will need to be inside will vary. So please do your research. Also, your animal will escape from this cage.

These cages are a pain to get together, keep together, clean, and they’re cramped as heck! yes, hamster’s are just little things, but unless you have a Russian dwarf (and even then, this cage is too small) please do not do this to your poor hamster. I know you think it’s cute and you want it to match your kids room, but STOP. Also come on, let’s be real, these are SO ugly and you cant even see your hammy in them!!! there are better options!

this cage is to small and way to over priced hamsters should not be living in this cage no matter what size just because it can connect to different cages doesnt mean its a good and “good sized cage” you can barely add bedding to this cage the wheels or to small for a syrian hamster its just all about the money and children children want a hamster when they see this cage the cage is just about show not about the hamsters needs plus the cage is hard to put together plus gerbils should not be put in this cage cause it can chew through the cage
