Siempre tenemos problemas a la hora de abrir y cerrar el filtro, no funciona si los tubos están en diferente posición(los cuáles toca estar adivinando cuál es el lugar correcto de ponerlo) y el agua se ensucia rápido.

It’s been a week or so since I installed this for use with my Zoo-Med small (1’x1’x2′ ~4g) paludarium and the pump is having no difficulty pumping with > 1′ lift. Priming (with the pump beside the tank, below the water line) required pulling some water into the intake line as well as filling the canister, but it was able to prime fully within a few minutes.

I have 2 of these, on for my pea puffer/neocardinia tank and one for my ramshorn snail tank. Puff filter has always worked flawlessly, but snail filter slowly lost flow. I thought I tried everything, cleaned it, shifted media, emptied it completely, adjusted all adjustable parts, nothing worked. Then I realized the only thing I couldn’t see into was the little intake basket and the L joints. Turns out a peice of java fern got in the basket and started growing, causing gradual loss of flow. Emptied that out and the thing is good as new. Hope my stress saves someone elses!

This has been a very reliable pump. East to clean and can use a variety of filter material.

I bought this maybe a week or two ago… it’s perfect my little betta bowl. I believe it’s a three gallon. I put a sponge around the intake and have the outflow coming just above the waterline. It took some tinkering to make sure the flow wasn’t too strong but ultimately the little diverter above the water works best for me. It did slow down.. like a LOT l. But I clean the intake sponge and it went right back to normal flow. I got it on sale at an amazing price. That part made me the happiest

When I first installed it, it was good…though after 3 weeks, I needed to clean it out. After that, the filter will last a day before dropping the water pressure within the system, resulting in the filtration dropping to a Drip. So if you want to mess with the filter every single day, it’s exactly what you’re looking for. I have made sure that the filter has been installed correctly by revisiting the directions and looking up videos….its not user error, just a horrible design.

Set up this filter on a 20 gallon tank (10 gal of H2O) for my fire belly toad. 5 months now and it has worked flawlessly. Very quiet. I thought there would be more sound & vibration but i’m really pleased with it so far.
