I bought this cage but the only problem I have is I can’t seem to pull out the bottom tray to clean it out. I have to lift the bottom piece that lays over the tray to clean it. It’s a pain cuz I have to take the bowls out to lift it the bottom piece to clean it. Any suggestions?

I think its perfect cage for 1 or even 2 budgies! I love it! Its spacious yet elegantly taking resonable amount of space. I like the smart food trays so far no mess but its been only 2 days.

This birdcage is very well made, high quality, easy to assemble and my bird “loves” the ‘rooftop opening!’ Got this as a second cage so we have one upstairs and down. Highly recommend for a smaller bird (ours is a Senegal parrot).

So, I actually found this in a thrift store for 15 and I was like “heyyy this is from petsmart!” It only had the bowls and perches in it so I gave it a touch up. I scrubbed and cleaned, took out the perches as they were dirty and I didn’t know if the previous bird had any diseases so I discarded them (also they were caked with feces! Ewww!) Then I was left with the cage and the bowls. Thank god I got this though! My cockatiel broke his leg and his living cage was massive and he could barely stand so why would I keep him in there? He couldn’t even fly! So I padded this one w/ a towel and added 2 perches and some toys. I put in his steel bowls since he couldn’t perch on the plastic ones because he broke his femur and could not move his foot whatsoever. He recovered fully thanks to this cage! He had enough space to not go crazy but too little room for him to wanna jump around and be crazy. Thanks for selling this cage! If you never did, my cockatiel would’ve perhaps died!

The cage is a beginner one my husband bought for 2 Budgies. After 2 weeks, two of the wire rails broke off as you have to bend them to get the poles in. I’ve had birds in the past, the “droppings tray” pulled out with the wire bottom. This one is hard to clean because the cage doesn’t have this feature. As I said, great beginner purchase but probably won’t be a keeper.
