Place harness on dog and adjust straps for appropriate fit. Allow 2 fingers to fit between neck strap and dog’s body. Weight limit and weather conditions (especially warmer temperatures) should be considered when using this product.

Great product excellent for the clasp. It came off the clip on the collar a few times. I checked the other times to make sure it was secure. But came off after that. Hook is good it must be the clip itself. Spring May not be strong enough. Just guessing. A heavier clip and hook would be 5 instead of a 4

We have a 65 pound Goldendoodle and the blue looks so pretty against his coat. He usually doesn’t like to wear harnesses but he doesn’t seem to mind this one. We bought a size large and it fits him well. We had to make a few adjustments. We also like the padding in it. Wish I could’ve found it a bit cheaper but I guess everything just seems expensive. I would definitely recommend and purchase again if I had to.

I liked that the harness was reflective and water resistant, but I had to return it as it did not fit my dog. I had purchased a small which should have fit as it was stated it went from 17.5 inches to 22 inches. In fact, it only went as large as 20 inches. Very disappointed.

We have a strong 7 month old lab/pit mix who is a sweetheart, but is very strong! I wanted a harness that provided comfort for her, but security and management for us… and a nice color/ pattern would be a bonus. Purchased this one from our local petsupplycanada, and it fits the bill nicely! It doesn’t let her pull backwards out of it, and the little handle on the back provides up close handling when needed. Only caution… the clips are very tough to open and close. So if you don’t have decent finger strength, be advised.

It was time for a new harness, and this one was nice looking and a bit less expensive than the one I bought my dog before. However, the “buckles” which are plastic clasps, are extraordinarily difficult to unhook. I’ve twice torn a thumb nail. They’re way too tight and it takes too much strength and finger injuries to unhook the clasps. There is no way of amending this, since they’re made of plastic. I’m really bummed about it, because I cannot purchase another one for her given the expense of these things, but it’s too difficult for me to unclasp. So often I unclasp one, and let her step out of the other. Other than that, it seems to be a good product.

It has held up pretty well , but the buckles slip a bit since it doesn’t fit well. Medium was barely able to do up in the chest, but Large is quite loose in the neck. Frustrating. We loved the dog waste bag dispenser and they no longer make it, so we’re kind of stuck with “it’ll do”. The reflective striping has all worn off (2yrs of daily use), and it has pulled the fabric at the points where strapping attaches. Still, our guy is a puller (work in progress) and 70lbs and has not destroyed it. The fit is our problem. “Fits larger dogs great”- well, not so much I would argue. Ours is a Border Collie / Std Poodle mix.

I bought the Arcadia Trail Neoprene harness for my dog Mickey several months ago when it was on sale. I saved it for when her previous harness wore out. I just got it out 2 days ago. It is completely trashed, unusable. The very first day, first time outside in it, she pulled the chest hook up right off the harness. Just now, not only did one of the side clips come right off (seem holding it on ripped out), but the back metal hook up also ripped right off. Complete junk and waste of my money.

This is a good harness. We needed one to keep our 65 lb dog in place while we bathed her. She could not pull out of this harness, it has to rings on it , front and back so we could use 2 different fastners keep her in place. It also has a lifting loop to help hold them still. In anticipation of our boxer/pit needing a harness after thyroid surgery, I bought the Arcadia Trail Neoprene dog harness. I’m not happy with this harness. He’s only worn it to the vet’s for his surgery and home and it’s already had to be readjusted several times. The straps slip after being adjusted if he pulls even slightly causing the harness to slide to his side. He’s not now pulling in his weaken state, when he’s well this harness might come off. The buckles are sturdy, in fact so sturdy, I can’t get them unsnapped, my husband has to unsnap them. It’s a beautiful green harness, seems well made but isn’t meeting our needs. I’m looking for a different harness.

The adjustment strap design is very poor. The top of the harness sits too far forward on the back. So, when you connect the side buckles they sit too far forward and rub horrible sores on my girl’s front legs even with the chest strap all the way out.
