Puppies, begin to eat solid foods when they are 3-4 weeks old. Add warm water to soften the food, and by 8 weeks of age, then can be fed their food dry. Use Authority Puppy Food feeding guidelines provided. For puppies 6 weeks to 3 months or age, feed 3 times per day. For puppies 3 to 6 months of age, feed 2 times per day. I have used Authority dog Food for a while now and the dogs seem to really like it. My only complaint is that the last bag I bought had very LARGE clumps of food stuck together and were extremely hard! I had to pick them out of the bag several times. I’m hoping this issues is just a one time thing. Otherwise, it has been a good dog food.

We purchased this puppy food after having used the large breed puppy for many years. I’m not sure what has changed but since it now comes in the new poly bags our dogs won’t touch it. We have offered it to several aged and breed dogs/pups with the same reaction, even with canned or added toppers. None of them would eat any of it, even the blue jays who will steal the regular food wouldn’t try to snatch it out of the bowls. It’s not the same food, not sure what has changed with it.
