We bought this after our pup was diagnosed with pancreatitis. The challenge with this disease is you have to find foods that your pup likes, but is also low in fat. There are kibble options available from the vet that range between 2 -5 % fat and are high protein, but these are quite expensive. As such we explored over the counter options and had nearly admitted defeat when we found the Authority brand. Not only is it low fat and high protein, it is less expensive than the big name brands. More importantly, our puppers seems to like it. We’ve been using it for a month and not only has it not aggravated our pups pancreatitis, he has lost a little weight which he needed to do. Very happy pup parents. Recommends this product ✔ Yes

It does the job. I have a slightly overweight dog. I have tried other brands of “diet” food with no results. This food actually worked and my dog lived it. I also soak the kibble in water and the food soaks up the water well. Recommends this product ✔ Yes

My fur baby was on Science Diet. It was getting to hard for him to chew since he is 14 years old. And Science Diet was very expensive. My fur baby was on Science Diet. It was getting to hard for him to chew since he is 14 years old. And Science Diet was very expensive.
