I bought this same toy at Marshall’s for $5.99 to pay $20 for just one is crazy. Marshall’s is hit and miss , they have some of the same toys for less then half the price.

Very disappointing. A large piece of the (very thin) rubber came off after only a few hours normal play. Way too expensive for just a few hours of play.
Sg4good (verified owner) –
Very disappointed in this product. Got it home and, within 20 minutes of playing, my pu had already punctured it at the seams. I have been pleased with other Chuck It products, which is why I invested in this. Wish I had my $25 back.

Purchased a week ago, and that’s all it lasted. Hoped it would be a great addition for outside night time but it didn’t hold up to normal play. Wasted $38. Save your money, time and your dogs disappointment when you have to trash it.

I usually recommend all ChuckIt toys because most of them are very well made and made for dogs that love to play fetch. Unfortunately this ball will need to go in the trash. I do not recommend. Doesn’t glow much. This ball is already falling apart after 1 week. My German Shepherd loves to play fetch. He is gentle with his toys. He doesn’t try to destroy them. This ball is not safe. Foam center is not a good idea for dogs and can be a choking hazard. I would consider purchasing this product if you made it with a hard plastic or rubber. Otherwise I can’t recommend this product. Very poor construction for the price I paid for this. As a dog trainer I can’t recommend this product. Not worth the money you spend on this toy.

My Saint loves this toy. Chases it, returns it, and chews it when nobody is around to toss it. Unfortunately, her powerful jaws and sharp puppy teeth have torn it apart after just a couple of weeks.
DogsFriend (verified owner) –
My dog ADORES this ball. It’s her favorite toy. It is pretty hardy. She can start ripping it up, but it takes a couple/few months & then I just buy another (thankfully, they are reasonable prices right now). This occupies a lot of her time outside!

Bought this toy for our Rottie she nor us is a big fan of it… and it DOESNT GLOW IN THE DARK..no matter how much sun it gets
Doberman Fam (verified owner) –
I bought this ball for my Doberman and she ripped it in one week. I don’t recommend this ball if you have big dogs. $35
Loving Life (verified owner) –
I bought it for a friend Her and her dog loves it !!!!! It has withstood rugged play Added bonus it glows in the dark it is very expensive but chewy had it for a lower price and petsupplycanadas price matched it

I bought this a month a go my 7mos. old played with this one time for 10 minutes and had to throw it away.

I bought this for my two 9 week old lab pups and they love it, even though they don’t know how to fetch yet. They are chewers but so far it is still intact. They like to grab it by the edges since their mouths aren’t too big yet and carry it around. At a good price too.
Brogg Dawg (verified owner) –
Just from the dog picking it up the teeth puncture through it a forms a perforation that rips and exposes the inside which is a different material and does not look safe. If the skin was thicker so teeth wouldn’t poke holes it would be a nice toy, ended up taking it back for a refund
Taylorbonjovie (verified owner) –
My Rottweiler played with it and it was distroyed within 2 min
Cvanlue (verified owner) –
My Lab had it torn apart within 10 minutes. I was afraid he was going to ingest the foam so I had to throw away.
Nayita (verified owner) –
Worst material ever, not for a german shepherd 10 month puppy, not worth the $25 bucks.
Juju678 (verified owner) –
I was surprised how study this ball was and how it glows in the dark
Mamas Dingo (verified owner) –
My mom bought this ball for my >1 yr old cattle dog. Because she was still chewing,I saved this ball in the trunk for when we go out to play. Best.Idea.Ever. My girl goes SO CRAZY when she sees it because knows it is for fetch, so we have hours of fun! If she does not get excercise she chews so I protect my investment lol At the dog park other dogs run off with it &chew on it,so I will eventually need a new one,but I will always love this ball!

I buy one of these every year for my Corgi for Christmas. I usually get the orange and blue ball, but decided to get the glow-in-the-dark this year.
Wendy j (verified owner) –
I bought this for my Lab and she absolutely loves it!! It’s great for the yard and to play fetch. It’s the one toy that has not been destroyed yet by her. Highly recommend!
Burrito (verified owner) –
Is there any dangerous chemicals it this ball? I don’t want my dog getting sick
JunieB36 (verified owner) –
We bought these balls a few months ago. I love that it’s easy for me to grab to throw to our dogs and it’s easy for them to grab to (sometimes) bring back. We recently bought the glow in the dark balls, they glow very well at night. Our labs love to play with these balls all day long.

My dog loves this ball!! He was running in the dark and gaming s great time!!
Blondie1959 (verified owner) –
Bought this because it is big enough that it should not get lost as easy as smaller toys
Jessie 328 (verified owner) –
U bought yours because my dog loves to play with soccer balls. After the first day, he had ripped out and put a hole in it.
Jnorr (verified owner) –
Not good for dogs that chew. My lab distorted this within minutes.
Jenn3579 (verified owner) –
Was excited to give this to my 7 month GoldenDoodle. Within 5 mins she ripped the seams and hot to the styrofoam. I paid $29.99 for this yesterday. Waste of $$$$
Tukk (verified owner) –
Tuck just loves this ball we play every evening she loves to chase it and it only took her a few try’s to figure out the best way to carry it ( but she is really smart) alaa I would recommend it 100% she likes it better than her frisbee
MAYALOVE714 IG (verified owner) –
This toy is not only expensive but freaken sucks. My French Bulldog Destroyed it within 5 minutes do not waste your money on this garbage! Waste of money.
Piesonoh1 (verified owner) –
We have a German Shepard who loves chasing balls all day long. The design of the ball is easy for her to grab and retrieve.
This ball is for fetching, but if your dog is bored they can chew it up, so pay attention to your dog. We do like the glow in the dark feature for late night fetch games!

Green fabric from ball was ripped within 10 min of my dog playing with it. Waste of $40
Daniela24 (verified owner) –
I bought it like 2 weeks ago and my dog broke it already
Crazypuppy (verified owner) –
The ball has been so much fun for our newly adopted rescue. Unfortunately the snow has limited his playtime but we are looking forward to spring.
No no bad toy (verified owner) –
My medium sized dog pulled it apart the first day she had it. She pulled chunks of the foam out of it and chewed and swallowed before I got to her. Luckily no issues afterwards. Needless to say, it went into the trash can,
Monicag (verified owner) –
My 75 pound German Shepherd mix absolutely loves this ball! We have purchased Chuck It toys in the past and have continued to be very happy with their products
SoloPup (verified owner) –
My 18 mo old lab is in love with this toy. She will chase it all day long. In the water out of the water alllll over the place. Keep in mind this is NOT A CHEW TOY. I saw several reviews that gave a low rating saying it’s not durable. It is absolutely not designed to be given to a dog to chew on. Its made of fabric over a flexible core. It’s for fetching/chasing.
Courtneyscomet (verified owner) –
Normally, I love Chuckit brand! We’ve owned dobermans and pitt bulls for years and This brand is always dependable, until now. These are not cheap, and It only glowed the first day, and was completely destroyed soon after. We had also purchased the orange ball, which has been destroyed too, but it was more durable and lasted longer. Overall their toys are very great with the exception of this glowball and the tennis balls.
deeeb (verified owner) –
Dog loves it. Appears to be well made. We do supervise while he plays with it though.
Adadog (verified owner) –
It lasted one month. I wish it was made with the hard plastic. Shape is amazing.
Anon (verified owner) –
Absolute waste of money. We didn’t even get to play with it for 15 minutes. Certainly not a straight 15 minutes. She preferred another ball & when I noticed this I took it away. I didn’t even think to check the reviews. I only relied on the brand name.
Edgar89 (verified owner) –
Its a great ball but i do not recommend for large dogs who love to chew things, we have a large dog and it didn’t last him a week before he tor it up. He loves to still play with it and catch it even though its all tor up. I would recommend if you have a large dog and he doesn’t chew things up and isn’t aggressive with chewing and likes to play.
*NOT FOR LARGE DOGS – CHEWERS

Great ball. my Leonbergers love em. These actually last a while. normally my dogs destroy everything in no time. A bit pricey

I bought this expensive toy for my dogs birthday. I thought it would be amazing for my six year old son and my 2 year old dog to play with. My dog doesn’t play very rough at all. But this ball has holes all in it and blood on it from her mouth. I can’t see if it ripped any of her teeth out but I really hope not! Very big waste of money!
Pjs mom (verified owner) –
My little corgi had this in the backyard for less than 3 days and has already kneaded and chewed through part of it to the center core! It’s hard to “kick” as suggested easier to throw. Definitely will not be using this again and it doesn’t even glow as package suggests either.
Mia James (verified owner) –
My dog loves this ball and goes crazy for it every time I bring it out. Its pretty tough too, my dog has had it for a week and not destroyed it which is good news in our house lol
Aussiemama01 (verified owner) –
Bought for my Aussie for Xmas. Within the first hour of her playing fetch there are holes in the glow in dark part of ball and falling apart. Sadly waste of good money and had to throw out!
CairoZero2 (verified owner) –
If I could give it a negative star rating I would. We have a Belgian Malinois & a German Shepard & this ball did not survive. I bought it because it looked & felt durable. I quickly found out it’s pretty much just styrofoam. It went thru maybe maybe 2 throws before my mal ripped into it. I thought the blue material that seemed like rubber would prevent that but it did not. I should’ve read the reviews. It’s north worth the money it cost or the clean up once destroyed.
Golden girl (verified owner) –
Love the glow in the dark aspect and the softness for indoor play too. However if you have a chewer don’t leave them alone with it, it felt durable but 5 minutes in and she’s got the seem undone.
mrsdoba924 (verified owner) –
Bought this for my 7month old bulldog and she destroyed it in less than an hour. Pulled stitching and canvas apart and bit through reinforced grooves. Not recommended .
Rick (verified owner) –
I got the Chuck it for my 8 month old Dalmatian puppy he is really crazy and has a lot of energy so he has a lot of fun with it ! Just keep an eye on it because my boy started trying to rip it apart !
Novas mama (verified owner) –
Purchased the large ball as one of my Xmas presents for my dog. She is a 14 month old Rottweiler. Which means she still has a puppy brain. She destroyed this ball in under 5 minutes. So we did not even really get to play with it. From the pieces I discovered that the ball is a pressed styrofoam ball surrounded by a glow in the dark rubber similar to the glow balls that she loves and a lime green fabric material that appears to be like the fire hose material. Her teeth went right through this fabric like it was tissue paper. And soon we had little pieces of ball every where. (expensive 5 minutes!). If I could rate this with negative stars I would. It does not live up to the chuckit durability of their other balls. Do NOT purchase this ball if your dog has powerful jaws. It’s large size is deceiving. Do NOT buy this ball unless you enjoy throwing your money away.
