These are just foam mats with sand glued to them. Seems super over priced for what it is, but my dragons love them and are so much happier with these then with their tile!

Bought for something different. But I think my little guy likes it.

Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this. Get a nice reptile carpet or terrarium liner instead. WAY EASIER TO CLEAN AND IT WON’T MAKE A SANDY MESS! I bought this and it lasted a week if even that. Just a terrible product.

They are nice the first times I got them but recently the sand comes off easily and are more difficult to clean out my lizards cage but I do think he like the gravel floor I keep thinking about changing it

This product states that it “cannot be accidentally ingested”. I just spent $240 at the vet to find my beardie had “accidentally ingested” 4 rocks from this substrate. Causing him to not have a bowel movement in 2 weeks.

I bought one last night. Looked good out of the box, but while gently trying to brush the loose sand off of the mat, large chunks came loose leaving only bare matt underneath. If you use it an application where you never have to touch it or clean it, it would look great. Definitely not worth 30 bucks. Sell it for $2 and make it a throw away and then we’ll talk. Mine gets returned this evening.

I bought my first beardie nearly a year ago and this was the mat I got for her. I personally think it’s easy to clean, because I let her feces dry before pulling it out of the tank. I follow up with the Fluker’s substrate cleaner, let it dry, and then take a cordless hand vacuum to clean up the loose stuff. Obviously it has to be replaced after some time, but this mat has held up well, and my girl is happy and healthy despite some stains that remain (the substrate cleaner kills the germs and detoxes the spots).

I bought 2 of these because I like to change out my beardies mats between cleanings, I cleaned off one of my mats today and the rocks started to fall off in huge chunks, glue started to come off and rocks were just everywhere. I love these because I don’t have to deal with sand but they’re not worth the price.

This is a horrible product and a waste of money! Do not purchase this! It came apart within 24 hours and the sizes are not correct.

It’s the closest thing to natural we have found without the risks of substrate. Needs to be changed out about every 4-6 weeks, but washes off nicely in between.

It looks really nice but it is absolutely terrible. I can’t see how you can wash this because it is so brittle. I will use this until my carpet comes in. My baby beardie seems to like it.

Such a retched, trash product – not at all practical. Sure the idea is nice, and it looks okay when you put it in, but it’s impossible to clean well and it’s MESSY. ugh so messy. Dust and rocks and stuff everywhere.

I bought this for my bearded dragon as I thought it would look really nice in the tank to give it a more natural look but that about all it does. After getting it,I thought it was nice being it was thick foam rubber padding with the natural looking sand but after the very first time cleaning it (gently mind you and even following the directions) a lot of the sand was flaking off of the mat and now there are several spots where it’s bare with no sand. I thought it would be made way better being it was double the cost of the standard carpet. So if you just want a more natural looking substrate without using sand then I guess this would be ok.

I bought this for my juvenile bearded dragon. Since they shouldn’t be put on sand, due to impaction, I bought this. The sand falls off. Even though it follows the demensions of the tank, it is TOO LARGE STILL. The Dubia Roaches get underneath it by hiding as well which is ANNOYING. Things stick to it and it’s a huge hassle. Just save money and time by just getting tile lol

I was really excited about this product. I was looking for something more natural for my beardie’s cage. But when unrolling this, it began falling apart. Sand and rocks everywhere. And whenever I try to spot clean it, I run into the same issue.
