[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Hill’s Science Diet Senior Vitality Adult Senior 7+ Dry Dog Food a week ago and my dog loves it. I got him the Chicken & Rice and he eats the whole thing. He normally picks out pieces from his food that he doesn’t like but with this food he didn’t pick anything out. This so happens to be the brand that our vet recommended for him, so I’m very happy that he enjoys it, and we are not having to pick up pieces off the floor anymore. This being a very well-respected brand also puts me at ease that he is getting a good meal with all the nutrients he needs.
I definitely recommend the Hill’s Science Diet Senior Vitality Adult Senior 7+ Dry Dog Food, Chicken & Rice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this brand about a couple weeks ago to help improve my older dogs diet, and I’ve noticed an amazing change in her energy levels as well as her overall mood. Are use an off brand of dog food before using this products and I’m amazed at the difference that she has been showing. I definitely think there’s definitely magic in this product because it definitely made my dog feel more Energetic and overall healthy. I highly recommend this products in this brand!

I have been using science diet for digestion for several months now. I decided to try the senior version since he’s a little older – I grabbed the wrong bag (super small kibble) but he’s enjoying it all the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is 10 and a very fussy eater. She also has a very sensitive stomach. Every once in awhile have to change food because of her boredom with it. She really liked this food and we didn’t need to add any sort of topping. It’s easy for her to chew and no upset tummy. It’s a good value and ingredient quality is so important when it comes to what we give our pets. While it’s not the cheapest, it is a much healthier option which pays for itself in the long run.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hill’s Science Diet is always a healthy go to for my Bella. Bella is 13 years old and still acts like a puppy when she is outside for a quick break! I love the fact that the food is easy to digest and super easy to mix with wet food for a little something extra. I always look for natural ingredients and not only something Bella will want to eat, but that’s also good for her. This is targeted toward senior dogs and that makes it especially good for her. The kibble size is small, so it is easy to eat and chew, especially for teeth that are getting older! An added plus is that it is made in the USA. Bella’s coat is also so healthy looking.

Buddy is now in his senior years and needs some food that is easy for him to digest. The size is perfect for him to eat and he really enjoys the flavor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that I can feed my dogs healthy chicken and rice dog food without worrying about the ingredients. Science Diet has been a trusted name in our house for our dogs and this is no different. The kibble is small for adult teeth and easy to eat. It doesn’t smell awful like other kibble and the dogs run to it for meals. The bag is well made and doesn’t tear, so you don’t have to worry about dogs eating the bag when it’s not meal time. I can feed it to my pups knowing it is good quality ingredients that they enjoy to eat.

From what I can tell the company is very good about what products they put into the kibble and have been very transparent about it processes. This is his first senior dog food he’s tried and I think he likes it a lot.

My dog has been on the Hill’s Science brand since he was a puppy. He has never been sick or had to change his food for any reason. He is a happy 11-year-old Shih Tzu.. The food is expensive, but you get what you pay for and this is a quality food. If your dog is having stomach problems or just doesn’t seem to enjoy his food. Try this and see what happens. I am happy with my dog’s health.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very senior Pug who did seem to enjoy the flavor. The kibble was small enough for him to chew with the limited number if teeth he has left. Only downside was he seemed to get a little chunky, that could be because he really enjoyed the flavor though. Also noticed it didn’t cause and tummy issues for him when I switched his food. It is a little pricey, however, our pets are family and we are happy to purchase high quality food so they can live their best life

This is my third bag for my doxy- mix. I use it as his snack meal at noon. He gets a hand full of the little pellet-like crunchies & loves it. It is also low in fat compared to other brands. Sunny is going on 13 & full of energy & spunk. A little pricey.

She gets excited to go for walks and loves the dog park again. She also loves the new food I don’t have to put stinky what food on top to get her to eat it eat it just dry and her stool seems good and normal. When I run out I hope I can buy more.

My 15 year old shihtzu has had to eat a prescription pet food since she had a serious illness about 8 years ago. She has never liked it despite trying several brands. While discussing my dog’s declining health with the vet I asked: if she’s only got a short time left, can I at least feed her something she will like. The vet recommended this food and my dog loves it. So glad she has the joy of eating back, even if just for a short time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is picky, I’m talking if I mix in fresh chicken with his food he will separate the dog food from the chicken and only eat the chicken. I can never just give him regular dog food but I can honestly say that this is one he does not have issues with and will eat without separating his favorite food. That is a win in my book plus it has all the good stuff needed to keep him healthy

Okay, I usually like Hill’s foods, and so do my pets, but not this one. My dog is about to turn 8 so it was time for a senior diet. At first she seemed to like this food okay, but after a couple weeks she seemed to get a little lethargic and was reluctant to eat. I also find it concerning that peas are such a major ingredient in this food. My dog had some early DCM symptoms years ago which is why we switched to WSAVA foods. One of the first signs was lethargy. My vet suggested avoiding any dry foods with peas as a major ingredient, even from Hill’s, until there is more conclusive research on it. I’m sure most dogs wouldn’t have a problem with this food, but if you have DCM concerns I would try a different formula. I’ve switched her to a Pro Plan senior formula and after a couple days she already has more enthusiasm and energy. This food is also much lower in protein than the Pro Plan senior food which might have been the issue as well. Although it’s true that senior dogs require a little less protein, my vet said that the 19% min in this food is very very low.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first presented the Hills Science Diet Senior Vitality food to Miss Picky, she turned up her nose. Great, another food she won’t eat! But later in the day, I noticed she returned to the bowl and cleaned it out. Now, she looks forward to her morning feedings. Its seems to satiate her. So although it is expensive, you are not feeding as much, at least that is what i experienced.

We had been using another food designed to improve cognitive function in our 10 year old Miniature Schnauzer. We were pleased with the results we saw with that food, so when the opportunity presented itself to try the similar product from Hill’s with her, we were very excited. Well, the results were far better than we ever expected. Our 10 year old schnauzer now has more energy than our 5 year old Cairn terrier and is even more eager to play, jump up on the bed with out using the pet steps, barks at strangers again and is very alert.

I have three chihuahuas over 7 years old. They are the most picky eating pups. Day one: they gobbled up the food. The small kibble was easy for them to eat yet, large enough for them to have to chew-which helps with their improved dental health-AKA dog breath. Week three: Honey has not climbed up the stairs in a little over a year. She is now running up and down the stairs and playing again at the age of 13.5. My grumpy pup, Petey, also 13.5, is happy to partake in playing as well.

My Chihuahua really likes this food, the pieces are small and the food itself is very palatable. She gets excited to eat it and eats the entire portion pretty quickly. Her last food she seemed to enjoy but she would pick out various pieces and not eat them. As an older dog (almost 12) she sleeps a lot, but she does seem to have longer bursts of energy. I’m not sure if it’s related to the change of food, but every night she becomes playful and wants to chase her ball, and recently it seems like she wants to play a little more exuberantly and for a longer period of time. My only concern is that the portion sizes seem to be a little large. With her last food, she was eating 1/4 per day, and was at a good weight with that much food. This food suggested she should get 1/2 cup. I’ve kept her on 1/4 cup per day, and she has maintained her weight. Every dog is different, however, so perhaps her metabolism and activity level are just low. Overall, I like this food, and think she has done well on it!

My dog was having digestion issues with other food and my vet recommended Healthy Vitality. My dog loved it immediately and is thrilled when it is time for breakfast or dinner! I have recommended to friends with older dogs. I am so pleased that this food works perfectly for my boy! Thank you, Hills!

My little chihuahua loves this food. Her tail starts wagging as soon as I get the bag out! She is a very picky eater, even refusing treats if they don’t meet her standards. Science Diet is the brand recommended by her vet and we had some eating issues with several other varieties. She didn’t seem to like the taste. I’m thrilled to have found something she likes that is also good for her. Recommends this product ✔ Yes Originally posted on Petsuppliescanada.com

My youngest pup just became a senior & this was our first senior product. She didn’t waste any time cleaning her bowl! My only complaint is that there is no size between 4 lbs. & 15 lbs. at my petsupplycanada.

My two small dogs have been on Hill’s food for several years, and now they’re eating the Hill’s Canine 7+ (healthy vitality) dry food. They both eat it happily, and the 11 year old seems to have extra pep in his step since he’s been on it – bounces around like a puppy sometimes! My 7-year-old Chihuahua is always spry anyway. I would give this product 5 stars, but it does seem to make the dogs’ feces softer than it used to be. All in all, this seems like a good food for older dogs that is helping my guys stay active.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hill’s Science is a trusted brand and they didn’t disappoint on this dog food. The senior dog food is great for older dogs but also for the ones that are a little younger. Taste must have been really good because it got eaten fast.

I started feeding this to my dog about a year ago. We alternate with Hills Science Diet canned food as well. My dog loves it and is much healthier after he started eating this. His digestive health is much improved and he has a lot more energy. It’s so worth the price to have a healthy happy dog.
