Our boy doesn’t mind the flavour – instructions recommend mixing with water, but we shake directly on food without a problem. First container we opened was hard and had to be broken up, and is a bit more ‘chunky’ than a powder. Poops have been a bit firmer, which is nice!

I have all three of my dogs on a pumpkin supplement. I usually don’t buy this brand but this was what they had. I got it home and went to add it to their food and there was NO SCOOP. Instructions say to add a scoop according to their weight. Pretty hard to do with no scoop.

I don’t like having canned pumpkin around for the odd time when it’s needed, so this is a great idea. I mix it in with my dog’s food as per the directions and it’s really simple to have something like this on-demand. The one drawback is that it says ‘X scoops per X lb dog’s weight”, but they don’t include a scoop and they don’t tell you what measurement one scoop is equal to. I went onto their website to find it, but that is a big flaw in my opinion. Either include a scoop or change the measurements to teaspoons/tablespoons.

So convenient but be careful not to give to much or it will reverse the effect. I used it to harden soft stool, it worked well but then his loose stool started – I realized my mistake, of giving too much and adjusted the dose down.

I mix half a tablespoon of pumpkin powder and 1/4 cup water and microwave it for 20 seconds and stir. I add the mixture to my Boston Terrier’s morning meal. I give it to him every other day. It is an effective solution to regulate his poops. Highly recommended! My dog is 27 lbs.
