The pad was obviously a retun it was dirty and didn’t have the cover over the adhesive. This is the third time at least buying a used product and paying full price. NOT HAPPY!

Instructions were very poor to begin with. Finally got it stuck on the side of my tank. Barely heated up. Then in the morning, I looked and the thing fell off the side of the tank. I returned it and got a Zoo Med for up to 5 gallons. I think 4 watt. Raised the hermit crab tank a couple degrees and I can feel it working.

Doesn’t get warm enough to heat the size tank that is actually needed for a hermit crab even though it is advertised for them. Would work for something else maybe

I bought this to use in a temporary set up with my ball python and I wish I looked up reviews first. It’s not worth the less than $16 I paid for it with my coupon. It is an exposed pad that you have to figure out how to assemble/attach to a choppily cut piece of pvc, and I can piterally press my hands together against it and barely feel any heat coming off it. It gets nowhere near the 80-100 degrees it claims.

I recently purchased this heater and placed it on the side of my terrarium for my hermit crabs. It took seemingly forever to heat up and has barely produced heat at all. Maybe this would work better for one of the “nano” terrariums that has less area to waste or as an under tank heater but for hermit crabs that’s not possible. I intend to try the 4 watt heater next and hopefully that’s better

An associate recommended me this product for my hermit crabs even though I questioned if it would be enough. Then she told me any higher would cook them…so long story short I had to waste money on another heater that actually works!

This is a 2 watt heater, so I didn’t fully expect it to heat all that well. It actually does heat better than expected, given that I insulated it with foil tape and also have a glass aquarium top to keep the heat in. My hermit crabs will definitely need an additional heater as well in the near future, as this one doesn’t work near close to ideal for them.

Instructions for setup were unclear and they mention clipping the additional PVC sheet to the heating pad – but doesn’t come with clips???
Doesn’t produce enough heat anyways, even for a 2.5 gallon tank. I bought this because it was cheaper than the next best option but will be returning it

Barely produces any heat. Didn’t work for my crabs. Doesn’t heat the tank at all, mat feels warm but tank was not. It also didn’t stick to my tank at all, maybe because it’s plastic.
