bought this when I bought my beardie in December. Worked great until the last few days when the switch to the heat lamp started to heat up itself and quit working. Now only the heater side of the lamp works.

Had this for 3 months. I’ve gone thru 2 new night light bulbs, it keeps draining the power out of the bulbs and I’ve had both a purple and red one, so it’s not the bulb itself. I’ve woken up twice now with the startling realization that my room was not lit up with red/purple light, and had a very chilly snake to deal with. Not fun.

Red lights are bad for their eyes. Very bad things have happened. Better to use ceramic heat emitter.

Not as small as I thought it would be but it’s perfect for my 10 gallon aquarium with my 2 baby Whiptails. 🙂

I bought this for my ball python and it works really well..I would recommend getting a timer for the day light and night light..Also swapped the bulbs for 50 watt and only use the 75 watt bulbs when the temperature outside drops otherwise you run the risk for the temperature in the aquarium getting above the recommended temperature..but other then that it works amazing and dont have any complaints…
