I have been using the Zoo Med Maintenance Formula for by aquatic turtles for more than 10 years. I supplements them with fresh veggies from time to time. I also give them live fish and crickets occasionally. I use the Zoo Med product because of content, price and the fact that it is cleaner (doesn’t clog filter as much) than other brands.

Was not pleased with this product. Thou my turtle will eat it. It does in fact leave the water dirty. This was a replacement of my regular turtle food being “out of stock”. I had no choice but to purchase this as a replacement.

My box turtle absolutely adores this food. I had originally been getting other commerical box turtle foods such as the Flukers Box Turtle Buffet Blend and absolutely nothing worked until I found this! The food overall has good ingredients and is good for something like a box turtle due to the added protein it contains. The smell, while not flattering to me, is definitely very appealing to a turtle. Definitely recommend this product for aquatic/semi aquatic turtle owners!

My 10 inch Red bellied cooter goes crazy for these pellets! She gulps them down whole, but when she does bite them, particles of food float everywhere. So it can be a bit messy, but I’ll continue buying as long as she loves them!
