I have a 1.5 year old Jack Russell Mix who is the fussiest eater I’ve ever had. I buy all the most expensive dog food brands to try on her (wet food, dry food, raw food, freeze-dried raw, you name it!) and she pretty much will only eat if she’s starving (and sometimes not even then – or, if we accidentally leave the cat food out, she’s more than happy to eat that!). I was skeptical about this food because of the ingredients but decided to give it a shot, as its better than her eating nothing, or next to nothing, and WOW! She gobbles it up like crazy! Not a single morsel left in her dish. Finally, something my dog will eat! The kibble pieces are small “pillow” shaped bites that actually look a lot like cat Temptations treats… maybe that’s why my dog likes it so much, maybe I’ve fooled her into thinking she’s eating cat treats all day, which she’d be happy to do I’m sure. I know Royal Canin is a vet-recommended brand so despite the worrisome ingredient list I’m sure she’s still getting a healthy diet and I’m just thankful she’s eating something other than treats and cat food finally. She’s only been on it for 2 days, but I’m hoping she will continue loving this food as I think I’ve gotten her to eat more in the last 2 days than she’s eaten in the last week. For once I’m going to have to start measuring her food to ensure she’s not over-eating! Recommends this product ✔ Yes

Our dog is a very picky eater and we spent hundreds of dollars trying different types of kibble… until we finally decided to try this. After all, it says this is for Fussy Eaters. Low and behold, our Willow loves this kibble. So happy we found something that works!

My fussy little girl loves this stuff!!! I moisten it with a little water, chop it up so the pieces are about half the size. (My dog just likes it a little smaller.) I also mix in a tablespoon of real cooked chicken, beef or lamb. ..which I always did before too but even with real meat thrown in, she would still turn her nose up at other more “premium” dog food mixers. (and I got so tired of throwing out bags of expensive dog food!) ..Even with 100% pure raw food she could turn her nose up. So…. I will keep buying this dog food.

Very dry in texture. Little too dry. Chorkie loves it.

I bought it before and my dog love the taste, although is difficult to find at the pet store..

I just adopted 2 years old pomeranian 4 weeks ago. He is a very picky eater! On his second day he chose to starve, didn’t eat anything at all rather than eat his kibble from the previous owner or any other wet dog foods that I offered. I tried boiled chicken, he loves it and always eat lick his bowl clean in a minute. But just eating boiled chicken isn’t a balanced diet and his vet told me that he should only eat 10% of it while 90% of his diet should be dog food. My friend recommended me this kibble and it works!! I’m so happy finally he wants to eat a dog food! I tried to mix this with his previous kibble, but he is smart enough to sort the kibble and only eat this one… -_-!! Recommends this product ✔ Yes

My dogs are finally eating! Didn’t give 5 stars because they don’t offer bulk sizes. Recommends this product ✔ Yes

I’ve been buying this food for my two small dogs for the last year now. My dogs are very very picky. They may eat something one day and refuse to eat it the next! I find they consistently eat this kibble so I’m no longer wasting money. I rotate with some wet food. This kibble is well tolerated and doesn’t upset their stomachs. The only issue is it is always low in stock! Recommends this product ✔ Yes

I’ve had my dog since 2012, in 2017 we tried her with this kibble after many others. Most she would eat for a week maybe 2 but this kibble she has eaten daily since 2017!!

I always buy this as both my shih tzu babies are highly dependable on it and refuses their food if given something alternative
Gleny (verified owner) –
My shorkie won’t eat it unless I hide it in his soft food.

I’ve never bought this before but my Yorkie wasn’t eating her kibble but she actually loves this kibble and has been eating it every morning. I’m so pleased.

I bought this fussy eater kibble because the store was out of the adult Yorkshire kibble. My dog absolutely loves it.

My 8-month puppy has been so fussy. I’ve tried Hill’s kibble, Blue Buffalo kibble, chicken food topper, 2 different types of beef liver food topper, topping his food with his favourite treats, adding various vegetables, made it into a game (Kong wobbler)… At best, he would pick at his food and leave the rest behind. Sometimes, he wouldn’t eat at all. Nothing consistently helped until we tried this food. Now he’ll finish his food as soon as we put the food down at a good pace. I thought maybe it was a fluke and he would get tired of it after a few days or so (he normally does), but it’s been over a month and he’ll still finish all of his food. THANK YOU ROYAL CANIN!!! Please make this in bulk sizes! Recommends this product ✔ Yes

I have a very fussy Shih Tzu who would only eat her food when she wasn’t given anything else (treats, fresh veggies). Bought this to try on the advice of a Sales Associate, knowing if she didn’t eat it, Petsuppliescanada would let me return it. No worries about returning it, she literally gobbles it up at feeding time. No more leaving food out all day hoping she eats it! Recommends this product ✔ Yes

My Boomer prefers Royal Canin Fussy Appetite more than anything but it’s frustrating when you can’t find it any stores.

My little girl would rather not eat anything then eat doggo chow…until I found this one! Literally a game changer!

He consistently will eat this product, so I’m not having to throw it out.

Unfortunately my dog 12 1/2 year old yorkie will not eat this. He picks out his old food and will still eat it and all the new fussy food is left in the bowl or on the floor. He’s still not eating enough of his old food but don’t want to keep spending money to see if it works. Wished they had little trial bags.

I bought this product and my dog loves it I have tried so many food that my dog likes one bag and then stops eating

So far so good.
Our picky yorkie likes this mixed with the Royal Canin canned food.

I cannot find any other dry dog food that my bichonpoo and cockapoo will eat. I have purchased many many bags of a variety of brands. The unfortunate part of this dog food is it’s most often out of stock and I must order it online and there is never a sale price.

I have two Cavapoos (brothers) who are both picky eaters. I tried other foods but they didn’t seem to enjoy them. This food they loved right away. I am pretty sure they think that it is the same as the temptations treats they see us give the cats! Lol!

I have 2 mini poodles so they are extremely selective of food choices. One is 18 years and the other 2.5 years. They get 1 cooked meal substituted with the RC’s Fussy Appetite. So far so good!!!
I recommend this product for fussy dogs and even more fussy dog parents.

Royal Canin fussy appetite is the only
dog food my Boston Terrier will eat. I’ve tried them all. My pug will eat almost anything but if Boomer is eating some special, then Butchy has to also.

I have a rescue who happens to be the fussiest eater in the world. Doesn’t matter what you offer him he sniffs it carefully to make sure it is eatable. He won’t eat kibble and would rather starve the eat it so always get canned food. I found that if I put water on this and mix it with some canned he thinks it is great.

Just bought this one as the last bag of food I was ever going to buy my shihtzu, she is do fussy partly because she gets too many treats and too much human food. Finally I think I’ve found something that she’s going to actually eat!! She just ate a full cup as soon as I put it on the floor. I was so worried because she eating. I tried 8 different foods from cheap to mos expensive and even tried Freshpet and wet foods like ceasar and she hated it all. This one I think might be the one and in going to stop giving her so many treats and human food now to help.

Our dog doesn’t always eat the food we purchase, she prefers our food. When you spend a lot of money for dog food, the least you want, is that your dog eats and enjoys it! That not always the case. She does like the fussy food and a lot of times, eats it instead of the food purchased from the vet.

I bought this a month ago because I needed something hard and soft.
This was the only one we could find. I thank the lady that helped us.
So now my baby can eat more easily than before.
