My all white longhair chihuahua clearly believed that was her face on the bag and not a wolf. Both absolutely loved the food to the point of my little one making snarfing noises and licking the bowl. After a week they have more energy for sure. Chewy isn’t picky at all about food, so he had no problem with the switch and ate every bite. However, over the two weeks we fed this to him, it was quickly and obviously noticeable that it was having a negative effect on his digestion. He was having frequent, horrific gas, and it also made him constipated. He was straining every time he pooped, and it took him forever. This is even with the topper of canned pumpkin we feed him with every meal We didn’t even finish the bag before we switched him back to his Purina One senior food, and almost immediately the problems went away. It was definitely not a good fit for him.

I switched her to Blue Buffalo treats over 2 years ago & that has helped her issues. But after receiving the Blue Wilderness Senior variety to try, we will be switching her dog food also. I have been extremely impressed with Blue Buffalo as a whole & the Blue Wilderness dog food is no exception. My pup seems to love it & she hasn’t experienced any hot spots or itching since we started using it. Certainly a blessing! It may cost a little more but IMO it’s worth the extra to have a happy pup.

Anyways, poured some out for my 11 year old jack russell and my 10 year old Italian greyhound mix……they devoured it ! They both have some missing teeth, the greyhound mix only has about 12 left ! But I’m receiving this blue wilderness, I managed to gradually transfer her over and I have seen an almost immediate improvement to her coat. Bill Bishop, the creator and dog lover, in 2003 had a dog named Blue who was sufferingfrom cancer. Bill and his family worked to.develop this food to “healthily satisfy dogs’ needs.” I knew a little bit about Blue Buffalo before but, this.touched my heart. My dog loves this food and she.seems to be the best her she can be. Bella, my senior dog, has been around for 13 years. I do want her to live out her life happy and healthy. Blue Buffalo is expensive but, it is well worth it. I highly recommend!
