This mat is an easy perfect replication of a Leopard Gecko’s natural habitat. It has some thicker parts and thinner parts where I chose to fold the thinner part a little bit up the back to form a bit of backdrop, but one has to do it slowly and carefully as he mat is simply sand glued to a backing so little pieces can crumble off if not careful to score a foldline first. But beware of letting that get too high for the leo to use as a foothold to reach the ceiling of its enclosure if you have a top opening enclosure.

I bought this product 2 weeks ago and everything was fine until my lizard ran through his water dish and spilled water on a small part of the mat period. Before the mat was dry, I took it outside to shake it off, and the wet part completely fell off. The map is complete garbage.
