The downside is that it is expected to screw in to the doorframe, which isn’t great for portability. However, we put it in front of a bathroom door at the cabin and it deterred our puppy from jumping up on the door and trying to get in the bathroom. I do feel that this would be best for smaller dogs though, our German Shepherd just turned 10 months and could easily jump over it, so for larger dogs I would suggest a walk-through metal gate. Another thing worth mentioning is that for some reason our puppy was not once interested in chewing on the gate as I’ve seen him do with wooden gates of the similar size.

We put the gate at the door going inside from our garage and it fits well. I think this would be better suited for a dog his weight/ size or smaller. He was able to shift it a bit when he jumped up against it so a heavier dog would likely be able to push it over. Does the job but not the sturdiest, perhaps weights at the base could help.

Any one who has a dog knows how smart they can be at getting around gates, whether it be knocking them over, or jumping over them. The downside is that it is expected to screw in to the doorframe, which isn’t great for portability. However, we put it in front of a bathroom door at the cabin and it deterred our puppy from jumping up on the door and trying to get in the bathroom. I do feel that this would be best for smaller dogs though, our German Shepherd just turned 10 months and could easily jump over it, so for larger dogs I would suggest a walk-through metal gate. Another thing worth mentioning is that for some reason our puppy was not once interested in chewing on the gate as I’ve seen him do with wooden gates of the similar size.

This gate is very well made and very easy to use. Be sure to read the instructions that show how to install. It’s not hard just a bit confusing if you’ve never used this type of gate, which I had not.

We put the gate at the door going inside from our garage and it fits well. I think this would be better suited for a dog his weight/ size or smaller. He was able to shift it a bit when he jumped up against it so a heavier dog would likely be able to push it over. Does the job but not the sturdiest, perhaps weights at the base could help.

Any one who has a dog knows how smart they can be at getting around gates, whether it be knocking them over, or jumping over them. This one works very well at staying in place when my dog tries to knock it down. I have yet to have him jump over it either! So that helps a lot. It works very well at keeping them out of areas that we are not welcoming them in. It has rubber pieces on each four corners to insure it doesn’t slip or move around. Over all it is made from high quality materials and is very durable.

Its height works well for small dogs but not any tall ones. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as you could just find a different gate but some more height adjustability would’ve been nice. Regardless the gate itself is easy to place and put together. Works great at keeping small dogs of any rooms you wouldn’t want them it. So overall a great product for anyone with small dogs!

This gate is very durable definitely more sturdy and safer than the baby gate. It is easy to remove and place in any spot in the house can even take it on our play dates. The only down side is I have 2 big pits and 2 Chihuahuas. It keeps the Chihuahuas out but the pits just jump right over definitely needs to be taller like a screen door I guess lol
