After using this bedding 2 weeks in both my 11 year old son’s Chinchillas got very sick and died within hours of each other. They were both under a year old very healthy. The only thing that changed in their environment was the bedding. I wish I had read the reviews… I’m now waiting for my son to wake up to tell him that his other little buddy is gone…

Love this bedding! It’s the only one I’ll use for my bunnies’ litter boxes. I don’t know what it is that makes it work so well, but it’s the only one I’ve found that actually controls the litter box odors and lasts me a couple of days before it needs to be changed again. I have two bunnies who each have their own litter box, and the big 2130 cu in bag lasts me for over a month.

I’ve been buying this product for over a year and it’s always been consistent with its quality. Low dust, no smell, no added chemicals, recycled paper, etc. With a small animal (rabbit) you MUST be particular about their bedding or their health is easily affected. I opened this bag and a cloud of dust filled the room along with a strong chemical scent. Then upon pouring it was not clumps of paper but nests of synthetic fluff mixed in with the dusty paper powder. I would never recommend someone using something like this for their rabbit even for a couple of hours so I had to exchange it for something else (more expensive) that I’ve never used but am happier with. Hopefully it was just a bad batch but this should not happen. I will not risk trusting this product again. I wish sunseed fresh world bedding was available in more pet stores as this was my fallback when I could no longer find it anywhere but chewy.
I would like to add that despite my experience with this product, I always appreciate the pets mart employees kindness and sincerity during my visits to my preferred location!

I’ve tried so many different kinds of bedding. This one last the full 14 days (sometimes more), and it works so well. My pet mice are fine with it — they burrow and move it around. To give them some soft spots, I add a little white fluff for them to be creative with.

I found this unusably dusty. As soon as I opened the bag, I was hit with a cloud of dust that had me sneezing. I threw it away; if it bothered me, it’d definitely be hard on my rats’ lungs.

Supposed to last up to 14-days. I still change the bedding weekly since I have 2 guinea pigs. I do notice the odor is less than using other products. I don’t think the piggies care for it. They don’t popcorn when I pour it in their cage.

We always use this bedding and it is great with containing the smell from the cage and lasts longer, but it is relatively messy. Every time we take him out of the cage or he jumps up when he gets excited, bedding goes everywhere.

Which would you rather have in your rabbit litter box – a wet sponge or a soggy newspaper?? This is by far the best litter there is for your small animal’s litter box. Its a little bit more expensive, but I’ve found a way to get around that. I use this type for their litter box and the less expensive paper bedding – like Carefresh, for the rest of their cage/bed area. That type is more comfy for them to lie on, but using it in their litter box just creates a soggy newspaper result. So I do a combination of both.

I bought this when my usual brand of paper pellets was discontinued. My bunny would eat most of this new litter everytime I refreshed or added some to his potty box. He quickly started acting sluggish & lethargic so I quit using it before even finishing the bag. Luckily, a new brand started making the paper pellets so I went back to what I knew worked.

I’ve bought this quite a lot of times over the past 3 years, I e always found little bits of plastic that were a bit disconcerting inside each bad. This last bag I bought I noticed small metal pieces. Seemed like aluminum to me. Love the bedding itself, it works great to put a lower layer on cages for burrowing pets, but the inconsistency in the materials used is concerning. I don’t want my little guys pickling up those plastic bits or harming themselves with the metal pieces I’ve found in the parades of bedding.

This is wonderful for rabbit litter boxes. It doesn’t get soggy like the paper brands. I use it in my bunny’s litter box and use the regular paper bedding for them to relax on. Its the perfect combination!

I honestly have tried everything for my Bunny. I have a Lion Head female and the Carefresh didn’t do it for the smell. I needed up charging her cage every 2 days costing me tons of money. I was at my wits end. Until a friend of mine told me about this! I tried it and YES FINALLY SOMETHING THAT WORKS! I does stick to her fur at first but it does pack down and the smell is 90% gone! I also think it depends on what you feel your bunny too. I highly recommend this to anyone and if you can find the Multipet one its a orange color around labeling that works even better! I now change her cage 1x a week with a few clinging of getting poops out durning the week but this has really saved us!

We have been using this litter for a few months now for our three guinea pigs. It works better than any other litter we have tried, and I am pretty sure we have tried all the ones that are recommended for guinea pigs. The cage does not smell and the litter does not seem wet on the surface for several days. I would never change back to another litter even though the storse do not carry this product and I have to order it.

Started using this after Carefresh changed their shaving so drastically making it very difficult to clean and not comfortable for bunny. They did me a favor or I would have never found this. It may cost a bit more but it is so much easier to clean and absorbent so lasts longer. Well worth it. Bunny loves it and so do we.

As from what I’ve seen it’s hard to find good bedding especially ones that meet the needs of diverse animals. This bedding is great for most animals from what I have heard and it works great for me. I got this bedding when I got my hamster and he really liked it. He loves burrowing/sleeping in it, looks really cozy and cuddled up in it. Hes showed to signs of issues with it. Plus the bedding is just great quality and is recycled which is pretty cool.

Since I’ve not been able to get the original bedding I started her on, this is the next best thing. It’s unscented, so it doesn’t mess with her sensitive sense of smell. This bedding works great – have 4 guinea pigs and compared to Carefresh and Kaytee – but I wish it was a lot cheaper because it takes the whole 2100+cubit bag to cover the 2.5’ x 5.5’ C & C cage which is changed out 1 x week and spot cleaned daily.

I bought this for my chinchilla cage I noticed he was eating it and not even a week after using it my healthy and happy chinchilla died. I did some research and found that this particular type of bedding is dangerous if consumed. No where on the bag does it say it could be dangerous and it even had a picture of a chinchilla on the front of the bag enticing you to buy it.

I bought this, after being unable to find our usual brand, and was dismayed to find little hard plastic and metallic bits in the bedding. I am all for using recycled materials, but when it is going into something like this– that a pet might EAT!– it needs to be done right. In this case, the sorting process just doesn’t seem up to snuff. Also has an off-smell. Have never found anything but paper in our usual brand, which smells better too. Will NEVER BUY this again.

When I first got my bunny 3 months ago I didn’t know what kind of bedding he would like or even what to use… So after I did some research I found this brand and have been using it with my bunny ever since. He loves it. The paper cleans up his urine very well without it smelling up his room or my house.. I love this bedding would highly recommend this brand.
