My three LOVED this food! All of them came running when it was time to eat. Sadly, my Borador is allergic to chicken and gets awful yeasty ears. This has chicken fat in it which I didn’t notice. I’ve switched to another brand and make my own until I can discover a grained something that works for all life stages and breeds as we have a picky mutt, Borador (7) and Boykin pup.

I have bought the one with the Raw freeze dried lamb in it and my puppy loves it! I mix this with a different brand of kibble and I know she specifically picks this out and enjoys this more than the other brand. Will continue buying despite the steep price point.

I was feeding my dogs Blue but had noticed they were losing weight so I bought Wellness Wild Game and they love it and added a healthy weight to their bodies so they no longer look skin and bones. It’s expensive but well worth it.

I bought this for my three dogs and they all wall away from their food bowls without eating a bite. Total waste of a lot of money.

I prefer the wellness core raw bites to this specific type

My dog loves his food and looks for it whenever he goes to his bowl. He doesn’t even look for treats because he loves this food so much!

I have 3 dogs all different diets. It’s been a challenge to find a brand they all like. Finally, I tried CORE. They all love it. I have a 7yr old Golden, 5 yr old Dachshund who is very over weight, and a 5 month old Morkie puppy that likes to eat the Golden’s food… I have 2 on wild game and our dachshund on weight management. They all actually get excited to eat. Usually, I can’t always get the Golden and Morkie to eat. Now they get excited as soon as they see me heading to the bag.

My German Rottweiler was raised on their “large breed” puppy food. She now consumes this Great product now.

Our pup seems to like it. He’ll eat it mixed in with some fresh food

Ehh, it’s interesting in those product where they talk about all the wonderful different varieties of meat or in this Dog Food. But they don’t mention also that it’s full of chicken. And if they say it’s grain free, does that mean the chicken is grain free? That that chicken is not fed grain? It seems to deceiving in the way they sell their product. But very typical of today’s marketing and wellness seems to follow suit. ♀️
Of course, for Pet enjoyment I gave it five stars. My dogs will eat anything but my main objective was to avoid chicken and chicken does come before a lot of the other meats that this company states is in this product. Frustrating.

My 16 year old pup is a picky eater. This is the only kibble he will eat. Great quality ingredients. And did I say he’s 16?

Absolutely great dog food! Wellness Core has been the mainstay of our dogs’ nutrition! It’s top quality and I assume tasty because they gobble it down!!

The only thing that my picky Husky will touch!! He LOVES the freeze dried bits too! Have been feeding him this for years and his coat is silky and beautiful. Floyd is naturally skinny and hard to keep weight on him, but this does a great job of keeping him looking fit and healthy! Only downside is that I’ve only been able to find 10lb bags of it at my local Petco and/or petsupplycanada. With a highly active dog, I can go through bags pretty quickly. I would recommend advertising the bigger bags more. With it being a pricier brand of dog food, it would save me some money from getting more for my buck. But overall, I’m a fan of this brand and it’s quality dog food!

When I got my Redbone Coonhound I research what door most people fed them. This was it! Unfortunately it is very, very EXPENSIVE, $104+ taxes! But my dog loves it, is in great health, ideal weight with very healthy skin and shiny coat!

If you are trying to find another dry dog food because Blue Buffalo – Blue wilderness has been giving your dog health issues, you have come to the right place. My dogs were on Blue Wilderness since they were pups up until the beginning of this month. They were plagued by vomiting and diarrhea off and on for the past four months. Core has solved all our problems since we have started them on it. It has been a game changer! My dogs turn three years old on Jan 1, 2019. That means for 2 years and 10 months i have had my dogs on Blue and upgraded to core. Why would i change my dogs dog food you may ask? Well you see I originally thought my dogs incident was an isolated incident. I WAS WRONG! Thousands of other dogs owners had been experiencing the problems I was having and highly recommended switching to “Core Wellness” or “Castro & Pollock.” Since the switch I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and so are more dogs. They have since stopped vomiting, diarrhea, started having better smelling breath, and best of all their farts do not smell anymore. This dry dog food is within the top 5 highly recommended dog foods by vets to get the most balanced diet possible. Thank you core wellness for making high quality dog food and getting rid of my headache caused by Blue Buffalo’s dog food.

My doggies love all kinds of wellness but the lamb seems to be the favorite.

The only food my dogs like more than this, is the same exact kind, only adding the freeze dried meat. Extremely good for my dogs, and dog food advisor rates it very well. I try to buy at my locally owned store!
tiffbabiee (verified owner) –
The best food my dog has eaten in a long time . He loves the freeze dried bits and it doesn’t make him break out like any other brand has . A little pricey but worth the money !
Cassy (verified owner) –
My dog has a sensitive stomach and also has a lot of food allergies. This was the only food that she can hold down without throwing up. Also, when she eats this food she smacks her “lips”.

Our dog barely ate the Blue Wilderness brand food. I did some research, found this brand and was excited about the reviews and ingredients. I just gave my dog his first cup of this Wellness Core Wild Game and he gobbled it down with us having Whataburger on the table lol! He loved it!!! I’m super excited about this food!

We got a bag of this to mix with a little raw food and our puppy has been loving it. Then we got another couple bags and the first one we opened has nearly zero (have yet to spot any) of the freeze dried meat bits whereas the first bag had them nicely distributed throughout.

I have been feeding this Core dog food for a while and my dog Daisy loves it! It’s kept her healthy her teeth are good her hair is shiny

My dog does not like it he will not eat the food I have to put people good in it and sometimes he still will not eat it
Hudsons (verified owner) –
Great food and my dog likes it so much I can also use it as a treat to reward positive behaviors.

I had been feeding my four year old Pomeranian the wellness healthy weight small breed before this because she is overweight however because of the protein content in this one I switched her over… what a difference! She has been having regular stools and not straining I realize she was just constipated before

I now have a 3 year old male lab. He has always had a sensitive stomach. He began eating things that he wasn’t supposed to. I did some research and found that he was lacking something in his diet. So I decided to change his food. After researching wellness core I decided to give it a chance. He stopped eating things he shouldn’t and his stomach is doing much better. I recommend this to my friends and anyone I end up talking to about their dogs diet. Great food. Great results.

I switched to Core recently after feeding other Wellness dry recipes to my dog for 14 years. She was ready for a change. She enjoys Core Wild Game and I selected the product for its ingredients. There are no fillers that other inexpensive dog foods have. I’m picky about what she eats. My dog turned 15 this November and she is slowing down now but she still has her moments and plays like a puppy.

This was the only food my dog would eat. The size has always been perfect and he loves the taste. The last bag I received has bigger kibble and now he will not eat it without being hovered over and encourage to finish?? Why Wellness?!?! Why!?!?!?
MissMayD (verified owner) –
Our pup eats this every day and loves it! A little on the pricey side but hey

Hi I’ve been giving my three dogs wellness core wild game for over three years and they love it, however the las 4 bags the raw freeze bits of lamb are nowhere to be found, and they don’t eat the food. Have you change your process. Don’t want to change food brand. Thanks
Niko Bennett (verified owner) –
Niko just loves this food. He’s a quick eater when he gets a taste of Wellness.
RussosMom (verified owner) –
When he sees me open up the bag he becomes excited. He does not have the same response to other dry foods. I love feeding him this because the ingredients are simple and healthy.

I bought this for my picky malinois. She loves it and will run to her food bowl. So I guess I will continue to buy it as long as she eats it. Wish they would make bigger bags for your larger breeds.

I wanted to switch to Wellness Core from Hills only because I like the ingredients ( l carnitine, glucosamine and condroitine, plus stomach sensitive features… Unfortunately my pup doesn’t like it, even the smell like it’s nothing to do with any food… Have to return and will stick for now with Hills.
