I loved this product when I 1st purchased it for my Chinese water dragon. It burned out after only 2 months!!! Not worth the money…

Use it for Indian mudskippers to raise the humidity you have to squeeze the bottle to get it started to get water down in there and that starts flowing good things you have to do that every time you refill the bottle then you just have to dial it in with a humidity gauge seems to work great

First, the anti-spill feature prevents the bottle from actually dispensing water. If you want to keep this from failing, you’re going to have to remove that and deal with tipping the bottle quick.

I bought this product for my hermit crabs that are in a 20 gallon aquarium with a glass hood. It keeps the humidity in their environment right where it needs to be.

We had ours for about 5 months before the fan died. 3 of the five months was very noisy. You would think the company would do something about it’s design if they know it is poor quality. I am searching for alternatives now. I only used bottled water, and cleaned it with every fill up. Did not make a difference. OH! It also started warming the water even in the bottle. So, watch for that as well. It should not be a warm tea temp!

This was definitely not worth the price, even on sale for $49.99, it’s very cheaply made, it stopped working in 3 days, overheated so easy and it leaked, you’re better off buying a normal humidifier and adding tubing, this fogger was returned.

I had to return the first one I bought because it kept turning on and off every 2 seconds. Second one isn’t blowing the fog out the way it should be, condensation gets stuck in the hose, I have to tap it to get the fogger running again

I purchased this product after struggling to keep the humidity levels up in my crested geckos enclosure. Spraying over 10 times a day was getting to be ridiculous. So my local pet store recommended this product to me. I hooked this product up to a timer so it goes off at regular intervals throughout the day and I have had ZERO issues in keeping my humidity levels in the correct range. I highly recommend this product, you can set the dial to have it trickle into your reptiles tank or have it run full blast. Fantastic product!

I bought this a month ago and does not operate the way it should. I have set on the lowest setting and my Pac-Man frog enclosure is a swamp. I can’t even use this digger! Not worth buying

I read a few reviews about this fogger before buying myself one, so I was able to avoid a lot of mistakes other people made that damaged their Reptifoggers !
I never used anything except distilled water in mine!
I do not leave it running non stop!
And, just for my own paranoia, I usually keep the bottle only half filled so as to not be heavy on the base. And I only ever have it on the medium setting, to put less pressure on the fan.

Living in Illinois with heat on our houses can be dry running this humidifier helps keep environment at a more correct humidity level for them. Use distilled water, easy set up and use. I also got it on sale which was even better! They seem to come out from hiding more often!

It’s been a year now and I wanted to post an update to my previous review a year ago. I’ve been using nothing but distilled water as it calls for and to this day the only problem I’ve seen with the whole fogger is the flexible tubing was hung in close proximity to the UV lights and over a period of about 6 months the plastic near the light got real brittle. Easy fix, move tubing away from direct UV lighting. Other than that this thing is working like a charm way past the time I even expected it to go without so much as a simple cleaning. This unit is fantastic, buy one and let your reptiles enjoy. New photos will tell it all, setting is approximately 65% if max setting.

I’ve had it on a timer every hour in my tree frog habitat and it runs like a champ. Its been on there for nearly a year and as long as you don’t treat it like a 90s civic and run it with no attention or maintenance it will work for a long long time. 5* recommend!

I bought this about 2 months ago and have been using it ever since! It is so amazing and simple to use, I love it. I use it to keep the humidity at an exceptable level in my ball pythons tank since we have a very dry house and her tank does not hold moisture well. But this works awesome and I can set it and leave it and will consistently kept the humidity level where I want it (around 50-60%) especially when she is shedding and needs the extra moisture. I have never had any problems with it and would recommend to any reptile owners.

Purchased item brand new at petsupplycanada. The fan started squealing on the 2nd use. I sent an Email with a copy of my receipt to ZooMed and explained the situation. Jennifer S. sent me detailed information about the design flaw and proceeded to tell me how to dis-assemble the unit and repair it with duct tape! I did not spend 50 bucks to have to repair their shoddy product. I buy mostly Zilla products now and modified a home use cool mist humidifier. Much better!

I was hesitant to buy this based on the reviews, but I got it anyway for my ball python and it works as expected. I plugged my reptifogger into a wall timer and set it for 30 minutes a day so I don’t have to worry about turning it on and off manually. As an added benefit, it keeps my python’s water dish full with the humidity that gets inside. My ball python has come out of her hide a lot more now with this new humidifier so she must like it.

It is very easy to set up. The dial on the side of the machine makes it easy to control how much humidity you actually want to pump into your terrarium.

Please don’t waste your money on this product. I’ve bought two and they both broke within 4 months. I used only distilled water in one of them and it still broke. The fans they use that blow the fog up the tube are cheap and don’t last long. Sure you could buy the replacement fans they sell, but then you’d be buying them every 4 months. It’s not worth it. Just buy a regular room humidifier and attach some tubing to it.

I have had this for more than 3 months now and I can honestly say I wouldn’t buy it again. It’s true that it is best to use filtered water because if you don’t, it will last less than a month if used every day! The residue is impossible to clean all the way and it is pretty noisy. Wouldn’t recommend.

Worked well for the first 3 months. It keeps our chameleon’s terrarium very humid. The company suggests that you use distilled water to keep the unit running longer, but that is a hassle. Not worth the money.

I bought this 3 months ago and lid is cracked. The inside gets gross after a week of use and is hard to clean. It doesn’t put out much fog and just leaks water every where. I spent $70 on this product and it let me down. Thanks for the over priced item that i can’t return or do anything with.

I’ve only had the fogger for a year and around every 4 months the fan that pushes the fog through the tube stops working. Once this happens, I must go onto the zoomed website and purchase a replacement fan. Luckily, the fan is inexpensive, but it still is a hassle and I have to wait at least a week to get my replacement. (Meaning my reptile doesn’t have the same humidity for that time) It is a great fogger, but it is cheap quality and does require maintenance; it blows out every few months so just be aware.

I was happy with it for the first 2 month but then it just stop misting and the pump stopped working I falowed the instructions and I only put filtered water so idk but if your gonna get it make sure u have to money for a new one

So I tried this product and after only a few months, it died. I returned it figuring it may have just been a defective device and the exact same issue occurred with the replacement device. Not worth the time or money. At least not for animals that need to have a device which keeps their habitats at a specific humidity level. If your animal simply needs a spritz here or there to add a small amount of humidity, maybe it’ll last longer.

Its been closer to 3 years than not i purchased the fogger. Wow today it finally quit running. Fan finally gave out but what a great little fogger it’s been. Only use distilled water and enjoy it for a long time. You won’t be sorry AS LONG AS YOU ONLY USE DISTILLED WATER. Well, back to buy another one.

I read all the reviews, Glad I went with my gut and bought it anyways. I hooked up my cheap $5.00 plug in auto timer to run it every 3 hours for 30 minutes @ half dial and water lasts 48 hours no troubles, I slept well too because it’s quieter than anything else I’ve used too. Be sure to not over fill the bottle & leave an inch of air so it has room to vent and be sure not to over tighten the no drop cap. Works great and turns on “after” it’s reservoir is full. Don’t panic if you don’t hear anything right away. Check and make sure the water is draining from the bottle properly, Tap on the bottle , loosen the cap a bit and get it to vent so it won’t run itself dry and shut off like its designed to do. Keep the fogger above the tank for proper drainage of the tubing and use distilled even for it’s first rinse too.

It did the job for several months. Then all of the sudden it started making horrible noises and eventually just quit working. It’s very over priced as well imo.

Does the job pretty good. We use it for our Chinese Water Dragon and she loves to go under the spray and sleep. It keeps the humidity up very well and has multiple speeds so you can choose how much of a mist you want to come out. You do need to make sure you have at least some water in it at all times when you have it running however or you’ll burn the motor. Also the hose will get full of water and not run as well if left at certain angles, an easy fix but you may need to watch and adjust the hose if need be. An overall good product so far. It made our Chinese Water Dragon very happy.
