I generally need to clean their cage every 7-10 days. If I go further than that our whole house stinks. I’ve been using this litter for a month now and I can get away with a few extra days before absolutely NEEDING to clean it, which is great! The color scheme is fun too. I’ve always used white, just because that’s what I was used to, but these bright colors are festive and fun. Our rats like to burrow so I leave som huge hunks of the compact litter as-is instead of breaking it up and flicking it. They seem happy.

I recommend the use of this bedding for your little furry friends as it , keeps their little paws dry, and allows for them to burrow in it. It has such pretty pink and white colors. For me at least, it doesn’t fully control the odor for 14 days. I can start smelling the odor within 5 days.

The hamster had a blast burrowing and frolicking in the bedding. The bedding is absorbant and I feel slightly cut down on the hamster scent. This bedding did not make the cage completely odorless, though. Overall, I would recommend this hamster bedding to spice up your furry friends area.

My daughters Chinese Dwarf hamster loves this bedding. After it was gone I switched to Kaytee that was supposed to be 99.9% dust free and she burrowed under it and came out and was covered in dust on her face and nose and her eye was shut.
