This vivarium is no where near big enough for a chameleon of any kind and should not be advertised as such!!

I loved this tank. It was a good deal for such a large enclosure. However, I have a crested gecko, so the environment inside needs constant misting. This made the top lid full of rust almost overnight. Why would they use material THAT susceptible to rust? It’s horrible. I hoped Thrive sold replacement lids made materials, once they realized the rust was a problem, but nope. Good luck finding a hexagon shaped lid anywhere else. So annoying. Have to trash the whole tank. Don’t buy for cresties. I’ve had many different reptile enclosures over the years, this is the ONLY one that’s ever gotten rusty. It’s a “tank,” it will get wet! I expected more from thrive….

I was looking for a final terrarium set up for my Australian whites tree frog. I had a 10 gallon long as a temporary set up, while I saved up my money to buy her the home she deserved. After searching for a few months I came across this beautiful looking terrarium. I was very unsure as I’ve heard lots of unsettling things, such as the clamps to the doors breaking off or the screen mesh not being quality which can open up opportunities for escaping. I’m happy to say all of those things are untrue!! The price for this terrarium was not bad at all for the quality you receive compared to the other terrariums out there! I’ve had this terrarium for a while now… it’s nothing less than almost perfect. The only reason I gave this review a 4 star is every time I open up the glass door it makes an unpleasant squeaking sound. Besides that this tank is lovely. I would highly recommend this to anyone trying to find their animals a deserving home.

This tank is great, the top screen is so much better, it doesn’t get hot from the heat lamp so my lizards are safe from being burned. The door latches so my little ones can’t figure out how to open it. And it is put together great there are no sharp spots or glue spots. An keeping the temperature right is a lot easier. I also included a picture of the eggs I found. I never got eggs in the old cage I guess because it was so hard to keep the temperature right. So Thank you for having a great product. Bonnie.

This is such a beautiful tank for your pet! I love that it’s only $100! It’s an awesome value. It holds humidity/moisture amazingly too! I use it for my tree frogs and they love it! There is so much space to climb!

I bought this today for a future crested gecko or tree frog set up and I placed it next to my 40 gallon long tank and they looked similar in size so I actually looked up a gallon calculator and put in the measurements it gives you and it is actually 30 gallons instead of 20.

Picture is deceiving. I bought this terranium online, thinking it included all the items displayed in the terranium. Pick it up in store, they are selling just the glass Terranium, no extras. Maybe they should use a picture of an empty terranium .

Disclaimer/ I don’t have my gecko yet, however aesthetically I really like this terrarium! It looks really nice, I’ve added moss to the bottom but so far that’s the only thing I’ve done. I can’t wait to add more to it!

I bought this for my crested gecko when the product was on sale. I have had it for four months now and the build is still very sturdy. The terrarium is a perfect size and my gecko loves it! I highly recommend this product.

This lasted me a while and worked great with plenty of space. The height is great for anyone looking to get a reptile that likes to climb. My cham loves to climb all around and use the space to hang off the fake leaves. Great size and great quality overall. The reviews did have me a bit unsure at first but Im totally glad I didn’t listen to them because my purchase was amazing. If you’re iffy about it and youve seen the bad reviews and aren’t sure, don’t get it if you’re scared but just know that its way better in person and those reviews almost made me not get such a great purchase. Even when I went rough on the door it never broke on me and everything is perfect after several months. Don’t knock it till you try it

I am very pleased with the size and shape of this hexigon terrarium. This 20 gallon terrarium held one 2.5 lbs bag of hydroballs, live plants and one brick of fiber soil very well without lacking or over flowing space. I highly recommend this new glass tank for tropical lizards and Geckos. I moved my Eyelash Created Gecko into it and she/he started moving around to get use to the new environment. I plan to out more plants and vines in soon with all the open space it has.

I’ve had this product for almost 5 months and I’ve loved it since the day I got it! I think off the bat it’s more visually appealing than a normal rectangular enclosure and it’s VERY sturdy! I have a cat that likes to sleep on top of the enclosure so she can cuddle up next to the heat lamp and keep a close eye on my gecko lol. Even though she’s a bit of a chonk, the screen on top doesn’t bend at all and gives me some piece of mind!

The metal grate on the top of the tank is not good, the metal they used gets burning hot and the metal holes themselves are to small and the wire is to thick so not much heat gets through

This tank has a cool shape, and I like most of the Thrive product line. However this product is not designed for all reptiles. This cannot accomodate an undertank heating pad which many reptiles will need in the winter months. The tank felt flimsy, I was nervous I was going to break it then entire time I was moving it. The top felt like it could just come right off. The silicone inside was loose in a lot of places, it would be problematic enough that an animal could chew it off and eat it.

The last habitat I purchased has a screen top that my cat was able to break through without any problems . This habitat has a very secure metal top that is cat proof. If you don’t have a cat it’s still the perfect enclosure, very spacious and appealing to the eye. I have more than one of these

I got this tank over a year ago in my green anole really enjoys it. It’s great for bioactive tanks. There is actually a lot of prayer involved with getting this, the day I got it it was pouring down rain and I was praying that it would stop. When we got to petsupplycanada there was an opening in the clouds above petsupplycanada but everywhere else it was raining. Jesus is good and cares about the little and big things.

I have not bought the enclosure but it is showing a chameleon and this is NOT a good habitat for chameleons! They require screen cages. You should not be picturing an animal in this terrarium that is not acceptable for that animal!

This was a neat tank initially.. the size is decent, but the glass door has too much space between it and the walls of the tank.. so it allows crickets to get out.. so I’ve been losing about 10 crickets every feeding.. I’ll find them throughout the house and I know they’re from the tank because they’ll still have calcium powder on them. So.. in the end a wasted $100 because the cricket loss just isn’t worth it.. and it doesn’t maintain enough humidity. I’ve had other enclosures that hold in the humidity better.

Way to small for 90% of reptiles and cheaply made the entire thrive brand is just the og petsupplycanada brand but with a different name and they have even worse stuff out there in thrive. Just don’t do this it can be pricey but unless you want a depressed reptile skip this.

This product is packaged and advertised as a potential chameleon terrarium. This is FALSE. Glass terrariums will either kill your chameleon with respiratory infections due to lack of proper air flow (THEY ARE TREE DWELLERS AFTER ALL) or it will kill them with the stress of seeing their own reflection and trying to fight it. (THEY ARE AS TERRITORIAL AS BETA FISH!) DO NOT BUY FOR A CHAMELEON! Buy the SCREENED enclosures also sold in the store.

it’s bigger than stated but it is very nice and perfect for whites tree frogs! If your looking to use a heating mat in the cage i don’t recommend this cage bc the hole for wires is at the top of the cage. I’ll be adding my new wtf soon after they’re done quarantine ing this cage is the perfect size for 2 but i recommend only buying if your animal climbs or likes height for a tree frog it’s perfect but for a low laying animal the ground space may be small

So this terrarium is beautiful looking and spacious. Mine is currently housing a squirrel treefrog and an Asian grass lizard. There are some big issues with it though and it’s taken some modification to make it even usable, especially for any tropical species, which it’s marketed for.

I had been eyeing this terrarium for awhile and finally got it- and my Golden Gecko loves it! He’s a wall and ceiling climber and this gives him so much space to explore. It’s eye catching and has a nice modern look to it. Definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a Gecko that prefers the walls vs. the ground.

I bought this a few months ago, and it has been a wonderful enclosure for my single anole, Tony. It’s just the right size and shape to build a little ecosystem for him, and large enough to give him enough space for us to never know where he’s hiding. It’s such a photogenic unit that we started an Instagram for him! This is a great product.

For my purposes this tank is great and I thank the Thrive/petsupplycanada folk for making this available. The main negative I can see is the lack of a lower-front ventilation grill of some sort, like the previous ZooMed terrarium I had that housed my Crested Gecko. I find the humidity level is maintained to a high level, to the point where previous pieces of wood developed mold (never a problem in the 18x12x12 ZooMed). But my place is very dry, so it’s ok for me once I realize that over-misting can be an issue. As such I feel Thrive should drop recommending this enclosure for a chameleon because of the poor ventilation. Buyers should know the bottom isn’t glass, but plastic. Again not an issue for me, but I would not use this tank as a semi-aquatic setup.

bought this about a month or two ago, got it because it said it was ideal/good for chameleons so i bought it, (mine needs to have high humidity, mesh/screen cages are hard to keep humidity) but sadly you can’t add on your drainage system without ruining it, it fills up with water after one or two misting/foggings. just wish it didn’t advertise for chameleons (on box&in store)

I bought this an awhile back for a anole, and the brick and mortar store honored/ price matched the online price which was super cool. Fits several plants, I haven’t stuffed the mustered in yet but the top of the tank fits a T5 14inch UVB perfectly. Here’s a picture with my bromeliad, lemon lime and pothos occupying the tank

I upgraded my crested gecko to the 20 gallon hexagon tank and she and I love it. Only thing I wish was better was if the glass was flush to the glass door. But other than that the humidity holds as long as I put plastic wrap on the top.

I bought this a couple months ago, and I didn’t have a hook to hang my lights up so I let them sit on the top. A majority of the screws snapped under the pressure. I’ve had to super glue it together. It also does not hold humidity that well, and this cause temperature drops. My gecko is supposed to be in the 65-80 range, but the door has such large gaps the tank can’t contain any heat or moisture.

I bought this terrarium for my juvenile crested gecko and it works perfectly. I enjoyed having no back wall so that it could be viewed nicely from all angles and I could always find my baby crestie. I used a large piece of grapevine that fit nicely in the middle and it allowed me to hang a lot of nice decor around it. I have it not super filled in with plants yet because it is for a juvenile, but if you have an older crested I would suggest more hides and plants. I would urge you to be careful with the door because I could see it easily getting broken if you’re being rough with it, and please do your research on the pet you plan to keep in this enclosure (I would not recommend a chameleon in this enclosure, but it is a good enclosure for juvenile crested geckos).

Way too small for almost all reptiles and Amphibians. Because there is no background, causes reptiles to become stressed. Advertized for chameleons and crested geckos. Way too small for crested geckos, they need at least 33-40 gallons. Chameleons need a screen vivarium and they need it to be WAY bigger than this, at least 55-75 gallons+. The only reptiles that could go in here are maybe some day geckos or mourning geckos, but due to the size of the gaps in the screen, they would easily escape. Stick to buying Zoo Med and Exo Terra enclosures, please!

There is a small hole at the top (maybe 2 inches in diameter) with a cover where you can attach a misting system if you’d like. There’s a cover that goes over the hole, but somehow my crestie was able to push it up and out and was able to escape! Luckily I found her not far from her tank, but it gave me a heart attack. I now have tape over the hole cover to make sure this never happens again. Other than this, I have loved the tank so far.

Honestly this enclosure looks so cute in photos, but it’s a little dysfunctional, the shame makes it sit oddly on many things and the door is very small, also you’ll find finding items to fit this enclosure is a bit hard too because most things are square. My chameleon personally took offense to his reflection in the glass there for I had to cover it up. While he is happy and it does work it’s just not it

It’s the perfect size for one of my adult crested geckos and it has an area at the top for a chord that’s escape proof that I use for a waterfall. The shape of the tank makes it harder to create a good hideout space but if you add a coconut hideout, larger plants, etc it works perfectly fine as a regular tank

I love this enclosure for its size and views but, as someone that creates their own backgrounds for bioactives, the door not be removable is an issue..
I’ve maneuvered my way through…kinda…and a friend who purchased the same enclosure built the background in pieces and then assembled after they were done.
The size is good, the price is good, the fixed door is bad.
Also, Thrive, can you lighten up on the denseness of your screen tops?
It’s too much. You’re making it virtually impossible for any new reptile keeper to achieve the appropriate amount of uvb for ANY species that would be housed in here.
Myself? I’ve already cut out the factory screen and replaced it.
First screen with Arcadia Shadedweller 7%? .7 on solar meter at basking spot
Less dense replacement screen on solar meter? 1.8 to 2 in the basking zone.
Time to make some changes y’all!

I bough this tank for my crested gecko and it is great and very big. The hinge is okay but the glass is solid.

As a horticulturist, I am always looking for terrariums to house various plants that require high humidity or to keep safe from my two curious felines. I care for close to 400 plants and trees.

Planning to add a moss ball and a wood piece from their previous enclosures so I haven’t added my girls yet, but these been fun to set up so far! Smaller than the original 55g conversion I’m working on but these will work great while that process happens.

Worked perfectly for a plant terrarium! Was fortunate to get as this was the only one on the shelf.

I love the hexagon shape and the doors. Very sturdy and well built. I will use this for a crested gecko once the plants grow out a bit more. Also- great for bioactive!!!
