Keeps turtles healthy in an easily used way by replacing sunlight.

The metal part on the bulb was loose and did not work. I have to return it now. I called and had to buy one on line and wait for it to come. I drove 45mins away for the one I bought at the store because the store near me was out of stock.

I use this to provide UVB to my aquatic turtle. Fits perfectly across the top of the aquarium cover. I do replace it every six months on the advice of my Vet.

This tube light works amazing for ALL my pets! It doesn’t hurt their eyes like a coil bulb, and lasted a long time before it stopped producing good UVB rays! Very bright, illuminated even my largest turtle tank!

So I thought I was buying a T5 UVB lamp for my T5 fixture, especially when I wrote T5 in the search bar, but these are T8 lamps.

It broke after 2 days never turned on again 🙁 I’m down 20$

i have this uvb bulb with my red eared slider and it is absolutely necesary for him so he can absorb his own vitamin d3 and calcium. He has a healthy shell, and he likes to bask under it because i put it where the heat light is, so when he’s basking he gets some uvb too. This is definatly the most widely used uvb bulb, and it is purfect for all reptiles, not onlty turtles and tortoises, but also iguanas, bearded dragons, and lizards.
